The best bowls club in town. The staff are super friendly and always welcoming. It's a great place to come for a quick beer or even a session of lawn bowls. The food is by no names which is delicious and no nonsense. They have a ton of raffles and other activities worth coming back for.

I enquired about hosting an event at this venue. After I called to clarify all the details of the booking and asked for a email invoice, the man on the phone responded "what can an email tell you that I already haven't... just give me your credit card details". I was taken aback and very put off by the hostility. From what I can tell it looks like a great place to host an event, but a warning to others if you're thinking about booking here the process is not smooth.

It's a nice little club. Really friendly bar staff and BUT the two major negative things about the place are parking and the food. The food is just horrible. I had lamb cutlets and asked for them to be cooked well done. When they came out and I took one bite I noticed they were nearly pink inside. My Mother had lamb chops. Had two mouthfuls and couldn't eat anymore because the meat was too tough. My Aunty had steak and couldn't eat it either because hers was too tough as well. My Uncle has spaghetti bolognaise. He reckoned if he threw the spaghetti at the wall it would bounce back and hit him in the face it tasted like rubber.

Needless to say my family or I won't be coming back there again

Big portions. Short wait time. so nice outside. Perfect for a birthday or just a sunny afternoon beer. One of the few remaining places in the area that hasn't completely sold out. Love it.

Good place to spend a good time with a group of friends or work colleagues playing bowling. The bar was good, bartenders were friendly, and drinks were reasonably priced. I was quite disappointed with the "restaurant" within the club, I could not enjoy the " chicken parmigiana ", I understand that this plate was not described as such in the menu, however I did ask them if the chicken schnitzel with the cheese and sauce was like a parmigiana, and they said "Yes", it was very bad giving me a terrible hearburn afterwards. My friend had a hamburger, and apparently, it was reasonable. If you are planning to have a meal, make sure you bring some notes, the restaurant is CASH ONLY

Great place for a beer session. The young lad with the tats has good manners. His new hair cut is average at best though.

Way too loud with all these old men gargling flem and yelling, crowding around like seagulls for the dreaded meat raffle. I love going here for the food but I have decided to skip going on the two days (forgot what they were but I took a photo of the poster) that they do meat raffles, to avoid the crowding and noise. It's impossible to enjoy a meal with all that noise.

Went there for bowling with work colleagues, followed by lunch. Nice little place and nice little joint for food. It was $15 for 2 hours of lawn bowling. And lunch was (grilled fish) $26. Thank you

Nice kind of old fashioned Bowlos with and Italian restaurant...being "No Names" which has been around forever. Cold beer, nice food, great staff... #1

A great old school Bowling Club where you can sit outside, well away from many Covid peeps and enjoy a quiet beer in the fresh air without the hassle and crowds of the Beachside suburbs. Bliss!!!

Segregation is on the menu...vax pass or no entry! Enforced by fat woman based on 'health'! This woman is unlikely to survive the winter due to her weight - and she is giving me health advise!

I really thought I wouldn't write anything about my hideous experience at this venue because I figured I probably wasn't their market anyway but after thinking more about it I've decided no, stuff it, I run businesses and I would not want someone like this mistreating my clients or team.

First time visiting this venue on Saturday evening. Had just arrived and went to bar to order first drink. The following proceeded to happen;

I approached the bar and some grey haired older lady said "yeap" at me.

I said can I have a glass of whatever your house red is please? She said "which red? theres more than just one".

I said "ok, I'm not too fussed, how about a Merlot?"

She proceeded to let out this huff.

She got the red wine and said "yeap" what else?

I said, could I have a jug of larger please?

She proceeded to frown at me and said "Jesus Christ this is painful" and sarcastically waved at the tap beers at me.

I wasn't expecting to encounter someone so unprofessional so I was taken aback by the agressive attitude of the lady and just pointed to something on the tap.

She poured the beer, presented the eftpos terminal and walked away without making eye contact at me.

My friend standing next to me, was as equally embarrassed and decided not to order anything.

We took one sip of the wine and left.

I can't imagine why someone would think treating their customers like that is smart or sustainable in this economy but none the less, I will never be back and when anyone asks me about it I will recommend somewhere else.

Called up to book a lane for lawn bowls and managed to get the last spot!
The lawn bowls manager (Reggie) was really friendly and even shared some tricks of the trade.

There is ample parking around Erskineville Oval and the Jacaranda trees are blooming along fox ave in November.

The kitchen closes at 3pm I think, so remember to BYO snacks if you feel like some munchies during your barefoot bowls sesh. I was pretty keen on getting some hot chips or wedges but was told the kitchen had closed, that's the only reason why I didn't give it five stars.

Great venue, great staff and great prices. My new outdoor fav place to go have a beer. Looking forward to a game of barefoot bowls and a feed there soon.

Miss the Chinese kitchen but nice spot for some arvo beers + some pasta now thanks to NoNames :P

Great little bowlo, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

Decent place to play lawn bowls, the staff are friendly, the lawns are good and have some shade, the drinks are cheap. The food was below average though, but at least it was also affordable.

Food is dreadful and oily. Drinks are well priced for the local drinks looking for a beer. Quick catch up is ok but not for a proper meal.
