Absolutely spiffing! Food is spectacular and fantastic alcoholic beverages. An excellent stop off the highway, and the online chat assistant Perly was helpful in getting me directions back onto the M1, although I didn't have enough money for fuel after the pokies at this establushment, I would otherwise be safe in Brisbane thanks to Perly!

P.s. I've left a $5 note on top of the first pokie machine on the left as soon as you walk into the second room as a tip for the excellent service. I would suggest investing in a tip jar as I was puzzled on where else to put it.

Went for my niece's birthday party, we had a great time with good food and a friendly atmosphere.

An outstanding presentation of spicy flathead topped with blood orange and accompanied by a sauce to die for. The vegies were perfect and the meal was so special.

Great food options at reasonable prices. Had the spring rolls which were really good value and served with a tasty side of mint, coriander, chilli and shallots. Plenty of seating inside and out. Great for families. Seems to be a popular place.

Met up with a friend for tea. She had a schnitty with veg, quite a big serve. We both had the pumpkin and sage ravioli.. ??. Saw some of the other meals all were a good size and looked delicious too.
The staff were all friendly.

This venue is let down badly by allowing smoking,vaping & drinking along entrance walkway putting you off before even entering venue. This needs addressing urgently.

The food seemed ok at the time. Unfortunately everyone one who ordered the rump steak spent the end of the night running for the toilet.
The tall fellow handing out the dishes denied extra cutlery for two people at the table. He told them cutlery was given out when they ordered so if they misplaced it they would have to eat with their hands.
Other than that it was a great place for a drink and the kids to run around.
Probably won't go back though.

Unfortunately at a recent Christmas luncheon many of our group were extremely disappointed with their meals. They ordered crumbed cutlets with mash and vegetables $32. Cutlets were ok but they all left their vegetables. Mash was dreadful, seemed to be packet potatoes and veggies were definitely frozen, cold and tasteless. As meals have been great in the past, we're thinking they must have a new chef!

Nice clean club! It seems to have been renovated recently, I may be wrong as I'm not local.

I enjoyed my time and they had live music I was there and it was enjoyable. Had plenty of screens to watch football to your heart desired. They also have a large outdoor area that I couldn't enjoy as I came at night. Had plenty of great beers/wines to choose from.

Great place. Very friendly staff. Yummy food. It only gets noisy during the bingo nights when the guy is yelling at the microphone forcing people to sit outside.

Great food and service

Pork ribs were the best I have had-moist, tender chips were nice and crispy, coleslaw tasty and plenty.
Hubby had steak enjoyed it as well.

Great atmosphere on a Saturday night with a band playing live music and lots of people getting into the dancing!

There is a huge selection of food, including all the pub classics, that are warming and tasty;. The kitchen was accommodating to modifications, allowing chips to be changed to salad with the burger.

Some vegan options (very limited, but there). Staff were friendly, very attentive on the cleaning side. Has a playground with TV nearby outside so you can enjoy sports while the kids run around.

Honestly by far our favourite place. We live locally in Ballina and the cherry is always our go too. Great atmosphere and the food is honestly the best, props to the chefs, we have never had an "ok" meal, always the best of the best. The staff are so wonderful and helpful, and as much as I don't write reviews, this one is totally needed to thank you all for providing such a great space for locals and visitors ??

I was only served 2 cutlets with my meal which is quite a rip off for a $30 meal, cutlets were battered like a piece of fish and the gravy tasted like actual dry cement mix and bong water, i would rather pour diesel on my food and sip it up with a straw through my nose than eat that meal again. mash and veg was tasty though :)

This is a lovely place to eat great quick service friendly staff & a great gluten free options.I had the gluten free pizza which was good but could do with more topping

The food came quickly but my steak was burnt black. The taste of charcoal overpowered and ruined the dish. My friend had the seafood platter & said it was very good and the serving was generous.

Value for money was very underwhelming. Paid $33 for a main that was very basic. Steak was not cooked to request and for the money paid was a disappointment. Fish was also in $30 range which is not a price you expect to pay at a bowling club. Although nice it was over drenched in butter. Another member of our group got the lamb cutlets and did not enjoy as they were mostly fat.
On a more positive note the service was quick and employee taking order was friendly and accommodating. Would I rush back? ... No. I feel you could find better value elsewhere.

We had to wait an hour and a half for the food, admittedly it was kinda of busy but not nearly that busy. When the food came out it was all a bit poor, my burger patties was so burnt I couldn't est it as it was too much charcoal, it had no sauce on it super dry and disappointing, everyone else at the table had similar experiences with over cooked dry and bland food. All in all, I wouldn't go back here and I reccomended that no one should go here. Disappointing.

This place has it right, management spot on, from the food to the kids entertainment it literally has everything. Massive outdoors area where u can enjoy ur meal while the kids run wild on the open grass and play equipment, with seating nearby so u can watch. highly recommend you visit here!

I ordered my meal and it still hadn't arrived, after 40 minutes.it wasn't busy and others that had placed and order after me had received theirs, so after my inquiries they said there wasn't a docket for my meal, tired and very hungry I gave up and asked for a refund. Yes I was offered some food but no thanks. I waited too long I left hungry and dissatisfied.

Had dinner at the club and was pretty disappointed. Surf and turf was cooked ok but the steak was bland and came with 1 prawn and no sauce! Chicken Parmigiana was mostly breadcrumb, chicken fillet very thin, with lack of cheese and sauce on top. Seafood basket ok but very small for the cost. Staff were friendly and helpful but meals extremely poor.

We visited this venue for a drink to celebrate the life of our uncle, who recently passed away.

The food was good and drinks cold. Toilets were clean. Lots of people playing bowls and sitting inside.

Very nice food out the back we had to move our heater about our table wouldn't work no big Deal
. Toilets need cleaning about more often through the night .As paper towels spill on to the floor . Probably better with electric hand ? dryers no mess . Definitely will go back top service from Staff .

Tonight myself and four friends went to your club for dinner. Omg what amazing service and meals we had. Everything was just delicious. We had friendly, extremely fast service and mouthwatering meals. Anytime we stay in Ballina or Lennox Head in the future we will definitely be back. Yum! ??'????'???

We love coming here for lunch, food is always delicious. Staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. We had the chicken Parma and the grilled chicken breast with the pesto sauce, melt in your mouth. This place never disappoints, best club in Ballina, highly likely one of the best places to eat.

Top club staff excellent food great but a little quick ordered entree it came within a minute main course arrived

Good value for money and food was cooked to request. Family friendly and a weekly nosh pit for friends. I was the visitor and enjoyed the open space dining with no loud music.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, club was clean and well set out. The biggest disappointment was the food. We dropped in for lunch and spent well over $140 for a basic lunch for 4 people. The food was not fresh - Two of us had the Chicken Parmigiana and it seemed that is was pre-cooked and just warmed up, the chicken fillet was so thin, but caked on with a thick layer of crumb - the sauce was dry and burned into the fillet - the chips were not fresh , they were soggy and cold. All in all very disappointed

Service from the young lady that took our order was great. Matthew on the front desk is very helpful as well. The venue is lovely and clean. However, meal was a big disappointment for something that almost cost us $200 its not worth it. Our two scotch fillet taste so burnt. Even one of them is med rare and other one is med well it seems like the grill hasn't been scrap / clean for a while. The entree we ordered came with the meal??? The rest of the meal was okay it just that the most expensive ones are pretty gross.

Love this club, love the people !! Always a fantastic night when we perform here and the staff and management are awesome!! Equally love being inside and outside on stage.. the back deck is huge and whole club is just comfortable. The food is reasonably priced and tastes fab!! They always put on great entertainment.. You must visit the Cherry street Sports club when you're in Ballina .. 5 stars from us !!
