Nice quiet town.
Went to Ballina RSL for lunch, we were not fussed on the food.
We didn't find alot to do either.

I'm from Sydney but I always come to Ballina to visit family. I came for the first time to RSL on Christmas Eve and loved it. I returned on New Year's Eve and it was even better. Pleasant atmosphere, good music, competent service, and delicious and abundant food. Congratulations and Happy New Year to all the RSL team.

Colleagues and I visited the Ballina RSL three times during our week long work visit, and were thoroughly impressed each time.
We hadn't booked, but the amazing Anna remembered us on our following visits and was able to find us a table. All staff were incredibly helpful and kind.
The food was incredible - we've been raving about the steak non-stop! We'll definitely be back on our next visit up!

Just had a shocking experience at the Cafe upstairs. Young teller did not listen to my order, even after me showing her the board where it was advertised. Got my money back and enjoyed a pizza from up the road. Never coming back!

The kids club is fanatic, the ladies watching the kids are great and friendly. So nice to have facilities for kids when you go to dinner. Dinner was also quite nice, but rather pricy!

Fantastic location and venue. Main restrurant set on the river, with fantastic sunset views
However, steaks from the grill do not represent that money. $52 for the thinnest scotch fillet I've ever seen in my life !!!
And the paranoia about removing menus from the table was remarkable, four times in the 25 minute period
In saying that
Great up market wine selection and along with the dessert offer, perfect to enjoy the sunset
Will be back for the wine, dessert and sunset !
