Sporties Barooga - Local Club in Barooga New South Wales

We headed back to Sporties after doing the Bullanginya Dreaming Luna Light Journey which I highly recommend. The tour went later than planned and Sporties contacted us to confirm our dinner booking was still required which was great. The next day we returned for mini golf which is the best and neatest we have seen. Followed up by lunch and the virtual screen experience. This was on a Sunday and some staff seemed like they didn't want to be there but this was made up for by the amazing virtual gaming attendant. I didn't get her name but she single handily made up for the rest. Engaging and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend a visit to anyone in the area.

Wow! Bullinginya Dreaming is incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the way you can go at your own pace and experience it without rushing along. We loved how interactive it all is. Really a very special adventure right here on our doorstep! Thank you!

Great golf weekend package and not over priced!
Bridges Villas accommodation was perfect and the Sporties Barooga club is quite nice with good meals. My only issue/negative was no pool tables in the sports bar, but the virtual golf looked like fun. Will definitely be back.

We stayed there last weekend in April, 2024. Our accommodation was at Bridges. Which is about 600 metres away from Sporties. Was no big deal for us but some may find it a pain.
Our room was beautiful and had most modern cons. Although a toaster wouldn't go astray. It is a bit isolated from Sporties itself and at night you really notice it.
The Sporties club itself was great. Had a bistro, cafe, sports bar and other forms of entertainment. Golf simulators also. Mini golf outside as well.
Our meals were very nice. Menu didn't change but had good selection.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bistro was quite busy for a Wednesday night. Do NOT order the Roast chicken. Despite far too much onion and enough gravy. There was no flavour and it was really tough. REALLY. It was perhaps like it was boiled. The whole meal was like it was a one pot mix. But it didn't get tender, or tasty. Oh and don't go for the Steak night special. Unless you are a member it's full price. Hint. Maybe a schnitzel and chips. Would be safer. I should have sent it back.
