Small thin Chicken parmigianas with a cheap tasting sauce. Average tired looking chips and soggy frozen vegetables .lndifferent staff .Wouldn't recommend this place for a night out.The whole place has a cheap look. Quite disappointing

Bad telephone customer service I experienced this evening at 1800hrs on the 24/04/24. After being recommended by a work colleague, I decided to call and make a booking for a table. I quote the following words by a male (didn't get his name) in response to my telephone booking request for a table - "I have 30 people to serve when you called" and this he mentioned twice during the call and hung up in a manner which I would say was rude. I wouldn't recommend this place after the telephone response I received.

Came here on recommendations tonight. So glad we did. It was busy, with end-of-year presentation night, but we were not kept waiting too long order or for meals to be served. We had the grilled barra with vegies, and pasta carbonara. My wife said the barra was perfect as were the vegies. My pasta serving was huge (I am as full as a goog). Lots of "Padano" style cheese, lots of bacon, lots of sauce. Perfect. Although the bistro was busy, it was not noisy at all. The Abbotsford Stout hit the spot.

Great course and highly recommend playing here.
True hidden gem but not really hidden. Fairways are top quality and the course is a true challenge at times. Some tight doglegs and small greens that match the fairways in quality. People were very friendly and helpful too which made it a very inviting environment to spend the day playing golf.

The meals we had were delicious, and good pricing, the service friendly and attentive. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful peaceful and food is great. Staff are friendly. Reasonable pricing. Indoor or outside seating available. Very much enjoy Benalla Golf Club. I recommend a stop and visit when driving into Benalla.

Attended the Nepalese Party there Recently, the look of Venue from entry was fascinating, parking was more than Enough for big party, can do the marriage And engagement ceremony there .Food Was fascinating. Overall experience was fantastic. A++

Great place nice food..

Had roast pork. Was dry and flavourless. Plain old Steamed veggies with no sauces or flavour. Spud was only thing on the plate i enjoyed. Others had pasta of the day and said it was nice. All i got for $24 was indigestion.

Food priced as you would be exepcting for a country club restaurant. The serving were large. Service of the staff were friendly. The time of ordering to food on table was good. A large family can make the area quite loud. Luckily it is a large space so the sound disperses as long as it isnt too full.

The Bistro is old and run down looking, with tables laid out in a very budget fashion.
However all if the staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful.
The meals were large and filling. The vegetarian pasta was lacking in taste but our meat eaters enjoyed their meals.

The seafood they served me was off .the steak the served my son was like leather .
Thr chicken keive was over cooked.
Seriously.
Not even an apology for the off sea food .
And the lady serving was so rude .
A massive disappointment.

Went out for lunch, after a quick 9.
Staff were friendly and professional.

Meals were: A small serve of garlic prawns on rice with salad.
Small chicken parmigiana, chips and salad.
Large beef parmigiana and chips.
Kids chicken nuggets and chips.

About 20 mins past when our meals came out.
Enough time to have a drink and a chat.

The kids meal came out first which I think is perfect.
A 5 year old will always take a bit longer to eat his meal.

Larger meals came out next.

Very little was left on all the plates.
The smaller meals were plenty for an adult.
The larger Meal was for a 16 old boy.

Can't speak highly enough of this establishment.

We arrived 10 minutes before kitchen closed and were served promptly. Food came out fast while it was still relatively busy. Staff are really friendly which is awesome.

The sweet potato wedges were super tasty and crunchy. Seafood basket cooked well. Great place with plenty of space indoors and out for a no fuss dinner. Pretty good pub type food at an OK price ($$$ out of 5).

One of the better places to go for a pub meal.

Stopped in for a late dinner, friendly staff, accommodating to food intolerance, excellent fresh food, hubby's fish was good, fast service too, I would recommend to anyone in the area. Not a huge gluten free range but they made a main dish salad for me that worked out well and left out the vegies I can't eat too.

Nice course. Easy to play with a few challenges. Reasonable fees. Friendly staff in the pro shop.

Good country course. Not to demanding, easy to walk. Good variation in landscape per hole. Will play again.
