As a family this was our favourite place to eat,but due to their new staff the place is going down,pizzas got no taste and most orders are wrong tonight was the final. We want be coming again.

The club was good but, the restaurant, its food, service & owner Mario, were great ??'??.

I prefer smaller clubs to big glitzy neighbourhood casinos. This one ticks all the boxes. Friendly people,pleasant atmosphere and great food.

Came to the Italian restaurant inside, which has great food and pastas that were done well. Very good price for what you get with a special of $15 for pizza or pasta during the week. The parking is great with plenty of spots

Nice atmosphere great food and super quick service. There's a lot to choose from on the menu and the place was packed on a Saturday night even though the club is in the middle of the burbs and hidden away. Guess prices are up there like with all other clubs..but the food is excellent..you won't be dissapointed!

The best place to come down with mates. The Italian Bistro never disappoints, brings people from all over even my mates in Bargo. Great service from the bar, love a cheeky meat raffle to fill the fridge and freezer (If I'm lucky). Above all else great sense of community, lost count of the number of times being down watching a game of footy, do or die in the state of origin, smashing sixes in cricket or scoring goals in soccer with friends.

Food was beautiful it was my first time there and definitely my last! Staff were unbelievably rude, especially the men who were running the lawn bowl area. So disrespectful towards children who were simply playing outside! Then had the audacity to come, and point at my child, asking me who he belongs to you like he was some animal! Just disgusting!

Tried the Italian restaurant thinking it's like la Piazzia at Bankstown Sports. Terrible service with no table service. Pizza was not authentic as they use the dominos conveyor belt oven. Dough was dense and thick. $39 for porter house with few Veggies is to expensive. Will not be returning.

We were 19 ladies and 21 kids, we booked a table before we came in. When we arrived there was a function held there, while we were eating a worker kept on coming disturbing us and saying that there is a function there and we have to eat as quick as possible and keep our kids next to us. The only why we booked there is because the kids can play outdoors and run around. We arrived 5:30pm they kicked us out at 7:15pm without even offering us a place inside instead. The worker was very rude. If you have something going on why do you even booked us in, you could just say we are fully booked instead.

Walked in to the restaurant just before lunchtime closing today and were greeted with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and service was quick. Our friendly waitress even made us coffee after closing time. Great service.

Always enjoy Alex and family's Italian cuisine... linguini pasta our favourite including blackboard specials. Accompanied with a glass of wine from the bar. Their pizzas are popular not that we are pizza eaters but busy evenings and very busy weekends. Has gelato bar and cakes. In need of a nice barista pressed espresso to compliment meal.

My family and I have eaten at BSC Italian restaurant for a number of years. The staff are always very friendly, and do all they can to make sure we have everything we need.
And the food is always delicious.

Great Italian food and very good service, Mario and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Good small family oriented club can be very busy and is an indication of how good the club is.

Nice Italian ood but some menu items a little overpriced, especially since it's just a club with self service. Really needs a better ordering system since the line to order on a a Saturday night was too long and crammed into a squashy space with waiters delivering food trying to get past you.
Also very busy so need to prebook.

Went to Birrong bowling club for a drink with friends. 2 of us had cocktails. The bartenders were very helpful when we were trying to choose what cocktail to have. Both were very nice.

Excellentt food and great tasting beer - all reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend Birrong Sports for it's excellent Italian food. Cheers

Fantastic atmosphere and food at the Birrong Sports Club the Italian Bistro especially the Veal Pizzaola and calamari are exceptional well worth a nice lunch or that special occasion

Italian Bistro worst place would never come back one very long line to order food and then you notice there bristro restaurant staff running around on the floor like lost sheep. Absolutely appalling service. Get your act together and use your bristro floor staff to take customers order's rather than make customers wait in long queues. I also noticed them cleaning clean tables this is absolutely shocking.

This is the third time in a row I have gone into the club and places a take away ordered and three times in a row they have not buzzed me when my order was ready , tonight was ridiculous I made a point of mentioning this to the waitress when I ordered and asked her to make sure they buzz me when my meal was ready and once again my order had been ready and no one buzzed me the meal had been sitting there so long they had to replace the entire meal as it was cold. Well all I can say is your consistent. They did offer me a credit next time I visit . So disappointed

Love going to The Italian Bistro. Food is always FRESH and love their friendly service.

Busy periods of trade have inexperienced staff or lack of staff ( low paid but it's the staff that bring in and deal with the good and the bad customers and the pokies bring in more then enough for all staff to drive a AMG to work and management know that). Long wait for drinks or any kind of service at a pokie, that's the only reason the club is open and the pokie service is lacking. Looks like birrong sports will end up like chester hill bowling club and it's due to the parent company's lack of interest in the community. It's all about the cash but that's no news to anyone bothered to read this far.

Small bowling club part of the Bankstown Sports club group. Great place for lawn bowls, ample car parking, poker machines for those who are interested. Great little Italian bistro with nice menu. Great pizzas as special lunch. Quite busy on a Sunday for lunch through the week quieter.
