What a great club! The meals are delicious and it's dog-friendly. Staff are lovely too. Live music Friday nights and Sunday arvos. We can't wait to come back!

Had a good experience here. Ordered the cheesy garlic bread and beer battered flathead tails. All the food was very tasty. I had a house Shiraz and my hubby a couple of beers. Friendly staff. Sunny day so very pleasant sitting outside near the bowling area. Took a walk to back verandah and very pretty views.

Great experience, came here for Easter Friday, had live music, and staff was nice & accommodating!

First time coming here since easily 2013/2014 has changed quite alot the atmosphere is excellent, staff seem nice , only down point is the pricing of drinks and meals they were quite expensive on the price and portions side of things, may need to work on the food portioning abit better atleast. Otherwise overall a nice little bowlo.

That to me would be a no brainer to bulk it up with rice using less protein???

Old mate driving the courtesy is pure class. Stood in line for for dinner, bloke in front of us got served. Kitchen closed, sorry. Two minutes past eight on a Friday. Won't be back.

The club has been taken over and renamed Hallidays Point Sports Club and it is much improved. The food offerings are 1000% better than they used to be! They need to get their sign-in process sorted though. Much confusion on the evening we were there.

Great place on a Sunday arvo....you get a view, friendly staff and the food was delicious.

Has had a revamp and looks fantastic....go for a cold ale or wine to check it out.

Avoid the food. Better to take your family for a meal at McDonalds at a quarter of the price and ten times better.

Understaffed for holiday period.
2+hr wait for meals. Yes we were warned so we left and made the 10min walk to the tavern where Dinner was on the table within 30mins of ordering. .

Went there for new years and it was a good time. Won the jackpot on the pokies and the staff were lovely with helping us. Kayley was very helpful, and helped us heaps. Overall was a great time. Customer service was good. Only complaint was the DJ was lacking good music

I've been to the Biwling Club twice since it reopened. The food was fresh, delicious and good value for money. I would recommend a visit, if you haven't been back

We got nachos, chicken bosciola and an entree of garlic bread and salt and pepper squid. The garlic bread came out with cheese and bacon on it although we only requested cheese. The salt and pepper squid came out as a main meal with chips and salad except we ordered it from the entree menu. The bosciola had a big clump of Parmasen cheese in the middle, I couldn't actually eat it and the mushroom were too large to be enjoyable, the only good thing of this meal was the nachos and even soon the avocado was almost brown. For $80 I'm severely disappointed.

I took the family for dinner and it was one of the worst dining experiences ever. Food was terrible and cold, kitchen staff appeared to be confused and disorganised. Will not be coming back, during these covid times you think they would be doing everything they can to get business through the door. Very disappointing.

Great place for a beer as their beer lines are cleaned regularly and they have truly wonderful and friendly staff. The patrons are always polite and friendly and along with the staff are always on hand to giving you a few pointers when you're having a roll up on the greens. Happy hours 4-6pm weekdays and all tap beers by the schooner $4 on Saturday afternoon happy hour 3-5pm. What a great afternoon with the whole family or just a few friends to enjoy a fun filled afternoon at Blackhead Bowling Club.

An old school club menu, but don't let that fool you, good specials but I had your classic beer battered barramundi and chips. Hot and tasty. Super yummy side salad. Partner had a steak which looked like it was cooked to perfection.
The little person had Kids burger, he seemed very happy with the chips...crunchy and yum. To top it all off...he had an old school choc top that was consumed in record speed.
All in all, will be back...maybe to play some barefoot bowls too.

Very friendly club, both staff and patrons. Had a great time in the Tab area watching the races and football. Meal was brilliant. Highly recommend.

Worst dining experience we have ever had! The kitchen staff need to pick up their game. Serving raw chicken is not acceptable ever! Chicken Schnitzel and s&p squid was tasteless, and just left a horrible oily taste in our mouth, this can be due to a deep fryer not at the correct temp. One waitress for a moderately busy restaurant walking around looking disinterested and chewing gum, none of our meals came out together which left some of us waiting wondering... whilst others were eating. We got a refund for some of our meals, and an apology that they had started to run out of things due to a busy day. If you can't handle the pace and be prepared for hospitality then get another job. I just hope no one ends up getting very ill from this highly disorganized and unprofessional effort.

Food is delicious (massive portions!!), the staff are lovely and a very relaxed atmosphere. Great place for a beer and a bite to eat after a morning hike.

Stopped by expecting your usual pub feed but was pleasantly surprised!! Food was delicious and came in big portions, whilst not being too expensive. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Had an absolutely horrible experience here. Waited over 2 hours for food. When it finally came out it was disgusting. Steaks were over cooked and they put bloody mango in my salad. Will not be returning. Yuck

The food has improved out of sight and bar service, even though they were very busy, was great, keep it up.!!

So disappointed with our meal. Waited patiently for our meal until the girl cleaning up asked if we were still waiting on anything. Our order was misplaced! Combination seafood was just prawns and calamari (no fish?), sweet potato chips and little bit of salad for $28 Lamb cutlets served the same instead of with mash and veggies. Yes they had packed up and cleaned up but not our fault. No apologies for meals not being what we had ordered. Being visitors we like to support the locals but we won't be supporting this dining venue again.

Nice vibes
