Really enjoy our regular lunches at this venue. Food is good and the prices very reasonable. Love to be able to buy drinks at Club prices.

Cheap drinks but is spoiled by the service from one of the staff. The older, grey man at the bar is so rude. He either ignores you outright or he treats you with borderline hostility. It is a mystery on why he still works there if he hates his job that much.

Interesting and classy venue, some great staff working here: they seem to always have a smile despite the little glimpses in their eyes that they're under the pump.

Can't say I explored the location enough to give a holistic review, but from what I gathered it's not overly pompous despite the classy aesthetic, and it's quite the spot for venues and presentations of all sorts of you're an organisation looking for a presentation.

DO NOT connect your wifi to the club york wifi. I connected and without pressing anything at all it started downloading apps (super fast). One was a camera app, and a bunch of .apk files. There were others downloading before I could see what they were. Hopefully I shut down the wifi before any could install. All happened in about 3 seconds.

This was not my phone auto-downloading when getting a connection because I have my auto download turned off. And when I did get a mobile signal again there was no auto-download.

When I told the front desk they couldn't care less. Terrible service.

GO HERE IF YOU WANT A TERRIBLE NIGHT OUT - we went on Monday 18th December. Club York is an excellent venue to start off for your night out. They have happy hour (5-7pm) a great cocktail bar upstairs (unfortunately closes at 7pm). I highly recommend Primi Italian- great service, food was amazing - no one left food on their plate! After dinner we thought we'd just continue talking, drinking at the main bar so the restaurant can clean up and leave we all ordered a standard drink (beer, wine etc) nothing fancy but we couldn't order a second as apparently they were closed. We chose this place due to the long opening hours listed on website, social media etc. It was a Christmas time catch up as we all work in hospitality and know how stressful busy December can be so we wanted to have some time at the venue.
Trading Hours may state 11pm BUT THEY CLOSE THE BAR DOWN AT 10pm!! No walk around to let current patrons know that the bar will be closing soon, no announcement, nothing. When we questioned this they said the pokie area is opened until 11pm. Management, the 2 older male workers were very rude at how they handled the situation, kept muttering under their breath, like we were an inconvenience to them the whole night.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and walk down to the corner and go to CLUB 75, great bar service, all staff and security were friendly to deal with. The bar staff walked around and announced last drinks then closed and hour later - it's like they understand how the hospitality industry works!! CLUB 75 IS A WINNER!!

Lunch in the bistro. As a member of the Club we are continually impressed with theClub management. The staff are so helpful and obliging particularly the ladies on reception. The food is always beautifully cooked and presented.
It's a pity the food areas are not available on weekends. David

Very nice place. was very buys for a week day. This tells that something good happening here. Was there for a meeting, great hot and cold food.

Lovely stuff, reasonably priced food and drinks. Not noisy or loud music, so nice to have conversations with friends. Also, members get a bit cheaper prices on food and drinks too.

It's cheap and cheerful. Service is good and drinks cheap. Lots of one armed bandits though and do not sit by the door leading to the smoking area if you're not a smoker.

Great meals, friendly staff. Only issue, staff need to be informed about all ID cards for entry into club. We had issues twice yesterday with my granddaughter and her Australia Post ID card. It appears on the sheet of cards accepted but we had to convince both reception
and bar staff upstairs that this is a legal ID card. Thank you

One of the gems of Sydney in terms of value. The food is great and reasonably priced and there is a good range of well priced drinks. That value is off the scale Monday to Wednesday with $10 meals on Monday and $5 beers (very good range) 5-7pm Mon-Wed. To top it all off the service is fantastic and super quick. The atmosphere is also pretty good, it looks fairly modern and is light and bright. Clientele is on the older side, probably due to the great value, but that doesn't cause much issue beyond making it hard to get a table sometimes so worth booking (can be done online for during the week, otherwise you have to call). Overall highly recommended.

$10 lunch specials available on Mondays. Gets busy, of course, at those prices. We've always reserve a table in advance. I often order the Barramundi.
Reasonable prices on drinks, even cheaper if you join as a member.

Staff were friendly. Place was clean and comfortable. Nice place to grab a drink and unwind when staying at nearby hotel. They have an attached restaurant which looked great, but as I'd eaten I'll have to try next time.

Club York rocks... it's very hospitable and if you are thinking of holding a function at a venue, their can do attitude is fantastic. Such a bend over service to look after patrons is rare, but very welcome. Relaxed atmosphere. Now fully open

What a wonderful little club which turned out to be a fantastic night commencing with some drinks on level 1 at the bar then moving on to watch a cabaret show. The dancer were amazing to watch with one stunning entertainier performing her dance in to a pole dance which some daredeviloius moves incredible the host sang every song like it was her own from the seventies, eighties and more and her dancer were so hard not to stair at. Thank you for a super show for myself , wife and our many friends who came along.

Watched the Burlesque Show and dinner, the show was entertaining, the MC was such an entertainer and lots of audience participation. Food was good and really decent servings. Good selection of cocktails. Will definitely be going back.

Went upstairs for a work reunion. Drinks reasonably priced and good good. Pizzas excellent.

The service here is impeccable!!! They provide a consistently personal and professional experience! Ash is quick witted, on the ball and brings life to the place, and is a wealth of knowledge for the club. The reception lady today (11.06.21 @ 16.30) is attentive and extremely welcoming. If I could suggest one thing, it would be more gluten free options, that is all. I love this place and because of the employees, I will always return.

I don't often give 5 stars but the lamb shank I just had here was delicious. The Lamb is cooked 12 hours and is tender, so tender that is almost as soft as the mash potato it comes with. They also have a good selection of desserts and drinks at great prices.
Staff are friendly and it's clean.
A great place for a meal after work.
This is the Primi restaurant in the ground floor but they also have the Zabou Bar and grill upstairs which I'll have to try at a later date.

Good location for public transport users, I enjoyed the bar food, otherwise pretty much what you would expect in a Sydney registered club

Always a great place to go and catch up with work mates, staff are friendly, drinks well priced and it's not overly loud, which makes conversation easy
