Not suitable if you're a solo parent to small children wanting to go for a meal. Children are only allowed in the bistro (fair enough) but you're unable to buy a soft drink or juice as the bar is in a restricted area. You also won't be able to participate in meat raffles as tickets are sold and prizes are to be claimed in the restricted area also. There is a small bar in the bistro which doesn't appear to be used, so why not have that set up as a dry bar to make getting a soft drink easier when you're there with small children? The whole set up needs an overhaul.

#1 Ribs finally this new chef has improved the food.. Being a regular here I'm happy with my club. I just hope the renovation include new chairs, as I see many are ripped, soiled and very out dated.

I enjoyed the Moroccan chicken,vegetables cooked just right,not spicy as it looks,$19 members price $22 non membership,works out better joining the club even if you live out of town.Good service,clean tables,Big clean toilets,large car park,Club in process of renovating.

Food beautiful, one waitress was very rude. Waited over an hour for our roast of the day, our meal orders were lost.

As a family of 4 all our meals were shocking. The schnitzels were over cooked in old oil. You needed a chainsaw to cut them. The cauliflower was undercooked.I made our concerns known to staff but nothing was done about it. It was kind of a shrug of the shoulders. Two out of three waitress couldn't care less. As having a career in hospitality I was appalled. I do not recommend meals here.

Great club for a bistro dinner. Very friendly staff who welcome visitors. Good food with large portions. Very reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere.

Value for the money. You need to get there early to avoid busy time. We went there for dinner.

Chicken Schnitzel was a good size and nice , beef schnitzel a bit small but nice , Chips were good
Salad was a dry lettuce mix with a few pieces of onion and a bit of grated carrot

We had the roast and the ribs. Ordered at 6.15 and was told sold out of ribs. Chef came out 5 minutes later and found another serve of ribs which was much appreciated.
We really enjoyed our meals.
The downside was the music played later.
It was a shocker. They should call it the practising musicians club. We had to leave to keep same.

Ok so I liked my burger so 3 stars.....BUT my little ones pizzas was a frozen mini pizza from a box?? I mean really come one guys???

Food was great and staff were friendly. Pokies area is well organised and has ultra modern machines. I would suggest a day pass for locals who want to bring visitors in and aren't members as we had to join just to meet someone for lunch. Overall a great club.

Was very dissapointed with the meal I was served last Friday night from the bistro. We orded the trio of seafood which I have enjoyed several times in the past. First of all the portion size had been significantly reduced with only 12 chips on the plate my plate receiving
10 on hers and less salad than usual. But more importantly the fish that was served to me as I requested battered and she had grilled was the worst I had ever been served. It's usually in a nice crisp batter but this time it had been battered in the same as the salt and pepper calamari meaning i could not taste the fish at all due to it being so overpowering . I complained to the waitress that removed our plates but never heard anything back.

I did not see the menus on the way in so I downloaded it from the club website to decide what to eat, then when I went to order I found the printed menus and double checked it and found that it was different, despite having the same version number recorded in the footer. So then I had to return to the table and get everyone to decide what to eat again. By the time I went to order the kitchen was temporarily closed because they were too busy, twice. So it took four attempts to actually place the order. When I eventually got the very basic roast pork it was dry. I would recommend the 'hearty' size if you want a normal sized meal. The roasted vegetables were nice though.

The club itself and staff are s cond to none, so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is what let's the club down. Todays salad was limp, undressed and definitely not appealing. Chips not seasoned and the Scotch fillet that was meant to be rare was well done in parts. This has happened way too much lately, very disappointing

Enjoyed our meals, would go again.

This place has tasty & good value food here. The fish is fresh and delicious, the big chicken schnitzel with Diane sauce was nice, chips good and seasoned veggies and salad was alright😁�'�, the potato and leek soup was good with the nice warm dinner roll. Comfortable sitting, nice atmosphere, good service and friendly staff, thanks guys😁✌️.

Food come out quickly and was nicely presented, full of flavour. My Thai curry seafood was a bit on the small side but very tasty not hot like Thai food, very subdued. My brother had bangers and mash, he only just finished that and was very pleased with it. Prices are pretty fair. Watch were you park your car in the carpark, it's like monkeys parked some of the vehicles, don't know what the lines are for. Some parked in two holes!

This is a great club. Friendly and accepts visitors. They also serve a great meal. We has the classic size roast pork with veggies but still had to leave some food. I could not fit it on. I just thank my lucky stars I did not order the hearty size meal. The garlic bread was also lovely and tasty with loads of butter melted into the bread. I look forward to my next visit.

I had a T-bone it was the best I have ever had in a club I have been eating T-bone for the last 40 years and this is the best regards David

For a place in the middle of the desert, they had the most mouth watering crispy skinned salmon I have ever had, on par with 5 star restaurants in brisbane

Quite packed at dinnertime as everyone from the area seems to be here. Good value for money food with large servings and hearty goodness. A classic country hospitality
