Have been here for early dinner a few times while visiting my dad. The staff are lovely and polite, the food is awesome. I always get the burger ???" and chips, dad orders the fish, salad and chips, or vegetables. Looks great when you get it, tastes even better. Prices are reasonable. Dining area is clean and comfortable. Can't fault. ?

We find the bowling club an excellent stopover and at just $11 per night, pretty unbeatable. Lovely large grassy areas for playing with your dog. The bathrooms are kept very clean. Normally I enjoy my meal at the restaurant and indeed my husband enjoyed his grilled fish, but my fish and chips could have been better.

Great place to stay. Flat gassy field. Friendly staff. Very clean toilets and shower. Even has a great little hike up the hill to a beautiful lookout. Will be back if I travel through the town again.

Right next to the club. The grounds are clean well maintained. Toilet and shower was clean and easily accessible. Would stay there again definitely.

Pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious!! Kids were happy with their orders also! There is a small kids room - it's not much but it lets your kids run around a little, and is gated if you are worried about little ones wandering around. Would recommend to any other people road tripping looking for a good feed and somewhere the kids can stretch their legs.

Great cheap caravan parking available here. $22 night includes power and water hook up. One shower with a toilet inside for use externally. Bowls club toilet and facilities available from 8am daily as well. Safe haven either in the fenced area directly out the back or two powered options next to tennis club and showgrounds. dump point 300 metres to the north in the Showgrounds. Friendly customer service delicious meals and cold beer.

Second time I've camped here. It is so relaxing and all grass. Plus nice hot showers

We were served THE most delicious FRESH Kingfish, with fresh salad and chips. Ticked all my boxes. Obviously cooked by a talented chef team. Thank you so much for a delicious meal. So refreshing to enjoy a perfectly cooked and well balanced, fresh meal after weeks on the road. Highly recommended.

Staff all happy and friendly and they have the most amazing gluten free menu! Ask for it. So many options!
I had crumbed prawn cutlets 2 nights in a row. Many other choices though.
Showers and toilets for campers.
We played trivia on Wed night. Great time with happy patrons.

If your travelling in a van, you can book a powered site direct with the Bowling Club at a very reasonable price. Park up and then proceed into the club for an absolutely delicious meal. We have stayed here a few times, I freecamp a lot, and this is a nice break from cooking and washing up.

Seriously great free overnight camping spot with a toilet.

The menu looked amazing but we sadly missed the restaurant both times we visited. Beautifully manicured grass and cute kanagaroos.

We stop here on the way up the coast every year, since the major fires on the south coast of NSW. Great spot for a guick stop over. Pull up and set up for a quick overnight stay and walk 20 to 40 metres into the club. Cold beer and great food ? ??'?.

Small town bowling club with a big friendly staff. Nice pub food , I had the chicken parmigiana burger which had perfectly cooked chips

Great place. Inexpensive camping and good food in club. Staff very friendly. We were there on trivia and one of the meat raffle nights and it was great fun. Mixed with fellow campers in a convivial setting. Won one of the meat raffles (supplied by local butcher). Toughest bit of steak I've ever eaten (unless they confused the steaks with the road kill.) Nevertheless, great place!

We have a caravan and stayed the night in the rear yard of the club with about 15 other vans, plenty of space.
We enjoyed a couple of drinks and dinner in the club. Good size pub food menu, very nice and the beer's were great ??'?

Typical country bowling club. Not far off the A1 and easy to get back on. Service is quick food is ok and the beer is cold

Stayed in van on grounds. As pubs go, not the most appealing unless your like a limited range of bland multinational beers, very very average food and a complete patron focus on gambling.

terrible venue. you can always smell smoke because there are smokers outside breathing smoke through the doors. my glass was not washed properly because I could taste some sort of alcohol remnant still on the glass. this makes me incredibly angry because I have never had a drink and never plan to, but now I feel drunk and it is this bars fault because they are to stupid and careless to wash it properly. everyone here is an alcoholic, it was expensive. don't come to bulahdelah, don't live in bulahdelah.

First time here happened to be raffle night heaps of prizes only gripe did not win anything. Food was great service terrific and welcoming with great banter. Lots of people which made a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

There was a group of over 20 of us having dinner here. A family reunion. I could not fault the service we got, or the delicious hot meals that the staff cooked up for all of us.

What a lovely and welcoming place this is. We arrived late after a big day of driving and were welcomed by a guy working in the club (unfortunately don't know his name) - super friendly and helpful. Showers and toilets were nice and clean. We had a restful + quiet night amongst other campers.

This place, these people, this club is wonderful.We stayed had dinner in club, played trivia, $2.00 only for green fees so had a roll up.I highly recommend this club.Next morning we went up into town bought gifts, posted them, had coffee and cake.

What a great little club. Friendly and helpful service, great meals (we can highly recommend the lamb roast) and ice cold beer (or a nice glass of red) all at very reasonable prices. The ability to park your caravan or motorhome directly behind the club (for a nominal fee) is an added advantage. You won't be disappointed.

Good level flat ground. Nice big sites easy to find and not Far from the highway nice and quiet. Pays to ring in advance and book they have limited sites. Nice club good clean amenities

Wanted to check in at last minute for camping but was full up, staff recommended somewhere else to stay which was very helpful. Grabbed a drink while waiting for dinner service to open. Had the garlic prawn Fettuccine. BEST PASTA MEAL EVER, saucy, flavourful, pasta perfect and lots of prawn. Best to call ahead and see if you need to book if eating here. They were very busy for dine in but so can arrange takeaway. Excellent covid-19 tracing and safety procedures.

We called past Bullahdelah for lunch while on our way to Port Macquarie. The service was excellent and the meals came out quickly. We had the fisherman's basket which had fresh crumbed whiting fillets, local prawns, salt + pepper squid, chips and salad. All produce was fresh and cooked well. We also had the salt + pepper squid as a main and this was equally as nice. Definitely recommend.

Great food (especially the ''Popped jalapenos'' !), great staff, quiet place this days and prices are fair (around 14aud for each plate)

Possible to camp here (ask to the reception of the pub), for 5aud per person in non-powered site (with shower and toilet).
