Amazing food!! Everything was exceptional and couldn't recommend it enough. We were recommended this restaurant all the way from Perth and it definitely lived up to expectations!! Thankyou to everyone who made our dining experience so great.

Great holf course, a bit wet underfoot but really enjoyable.
Well worth playing if you haven't played it before.
Greg, the local golf pro is very helpful and a nice guy.
The food was top notch for a golf club, the chargrilled bacon cheeseburger was off the hook!

This is a wonderful course just outside of town. The course itself is beautiful and is also a good challenge for the better golfers. Most of that challenge comes from the sheer length of the course, but there are a fair few holes with water hazards, bunkers, and varied elevation to keep it interesting.

Make sure you wear a lot of sunscreen and drink a lot of fluids. Especially in the hotter months, and doubly so if you're walking this course. You'll need it! It was 28 degrees by 10am and the humidity was building. It's absolutely worth that extra effort though but as with all golf courses in Australia it's really important to be sun smart.

The club house is in great condition, though I just drank 5 glasses of water after my round, and the pro shop is well stocked and well staffed. I would absolutely recommend a round here if you're in the area.

Fantastic golf course just south of town centre.
The course is challenging and in pristine condition with lush fairways and superb greens

Excellent track, a great example of why golf courses don't need to be long and ensure accuracy and short game skills come to the fore. Great condition with quality greens. You will not regret a visit

Unfortunately underwhelming. Came here based on local recommendations. The food was decent but a bit small in serving size. We had to both order and pick up our meals at the counter (though other tables had table service? Maybe members only?) All this whilst paying similar prices to nice restaurants in Byron downtown. Maybe a good option for quieter ambience

Great place for lunch or dinner. Best venue in Byron with its view of the golf course and large undercover areas.

I very much enjoyed playing this course today. Fairways were in superb condition and the bunkers were very well maintained. The greens rolled very true even allowing the some greens had undergone some TLC recently. Pro Shop staff were very professional and friendly.

The course is beautiful to look at, but the greens are terribly unfare. Players chip on or put & plenty just run off the green I like fast greens but they are over done to the max. As i said beautiful to look at. I played pennants there last Sunday, had a comforable win.

After so much rain the course was.in stunning condition. After playing Ballina where the rough was so deep that balls could not be found, and Lismore where condition is appalling due to the parent Workers Club refusing to spend a penny on conditioning, Byron is sensational. Not the greatest layout, that would be Ocean Shores, but easily the best combination of course and clubhouse.

We played after 4pm and we think there should be a twilight rate as it gets dark about 530pm in Autumn and you can't really do 9 holes. Enjoyable course, very picturesque and gets quite busy. Nice club house too. Recommend

Beautifully maintained course. Greens, fairways, traps and tee boxes in great shape. Not super challenging but lots of tree lined fairways and a nice coastal breeze. Epic day.

We phoned the club and made a reservation, we made them aware that we were from Sydney we were told to come along. After walking from Suffolk park and checking in the guy behind the bar told us (with half a grin) that we would need to leave as we were from Sydney. We explained that we had phoned ahead he replied with "bad luck" when we asked a few more questions about our refusal he said to my wife and I (again with half a grin) "no need to get aggro" and we "don't want Sydney people here" .....we were totally shocked as I thought Byron was a tourist town
I've been going to Byron for around 25 years and this experience is a first. Such a shame.
If you're a tourist I don't think this place wants your custom.

Lovely day. Ruined, just kidding, but annoyed with mid 30s staff member who couldn't seem to look past my younger sister having a one off swing without demanding payment. cheers chief

My review has nothing to do with the golf course because it was lovely. After playing a round I stopped into the bar for my traditional post round beer. After sanitizing and signing in at the front desk I moved up to the bar while social distancing in the que. Mind you, I may have been the only one doing this. After ordering a beer and having it poured from the tap, the bartender in the orange safety vest asked for my ID. Confused, as I am 58, I handed it over to her. When she looked at it, she said that she would not be serving a Victorian a beer and told me to leave the club house. I mentioned to her that I have been away from Victoria for months and have all current documentation. She then said "Club policy, serve no Victorians" Good Bye. I've never been discriminated against before. Thank you Byron Bay Golf Club for sharing. Imagine if I was also a person of colour?

I should call work more often, call in sick for the day,Absolutely a fabulous day. Great conditions great services. In covid-19 restrictions this club keeps the community safe. Well done.1 quick round of golf, 19 holes brilliant. Easy golf buggy hire, cheap balls as i need a heap. Even with my timber Greg Norman specialist clubs with brass In fulls. And thanks to leather back Lucy for the cold beer at the nineteenth. Thanks fellow's for a great day.
