Lunch today with Ladies from McCarthur Gardens, terrible prawn omelette ,tasteless ,less verges,
and Omelette rubbery not your usual so for $23.50 against the plates that were served the Lunch Specials $11.50 no comparison I was still hungry so ordered takeaway Curried chicken I had it for Dinner tonight and the container was 3/4 full of fried rice and a 1/4 of curried chicken ,will not visit again or recommend. I think you had cooks that are not qualified or are new owners if so tge club will go backwards ,Kaye not happy

The RSL itself was great and the staff were lovely! We had the Chinese for lunch and I didn't rate it very highly, in fact I didn't even eat half of the Garlic Prawn Chow Mein I ordered. The sauce was goopy and gross.

It smells like an "old school" RSL's The Aussie food was terrible!
Should have gone with the rest of the crowd & ordered from the Chinese menu instead ?????

It was rock n roll night, the night we decided to have dinner at the Chinese restaurant in the club. What a great atmosphere! Fantastic old school band with more than 2 people in it ! The bar staff were friendly and happy, the food was fresh, hot and excuted perfectly, oh and it was delicious. The staff were so helpful and looked after us. If you go on these nights, you may even be inspired to dance too !

A friendly little local with lots of activities on offer.
The Bistro has some of the best I've eaten. Admittedly, I've only been to China town a handful of times to compare.

Staff were lovely, it was very busy. Chinese meal was beautiful. I would go there again.

Good little RSL, doesn't really cater to the younger generation but overall good. Most places offer free softdrink to poker machine players, NOT this place tho, pretty sad considering how much money they make of them...

I've eaten here a few times and its been a hit and miss. Tonight though was a the final straw.

Starting with the rude man who took our order, his lack of manners was deplorable, rude and belittling. When we went to pay he pointed to a sign hidden behind the menu saying there eftpos machine was down, no wifi. I found this hard to believe as we were using the clubs wifi. We asked if we could get money out of the ATM just outside the door and he kept shaking his head saying no, pay now or come back. The line was getting quite long and he relented and let us get the cash out so the order could still go through. Should have realized then that this had set the scene.

The food when it arrived was tasteless, cold and not cooked properly. The portions were ridiculously small and not worth what we paid.

If you want rude service, tasteless and cold food go here.

There are plenty of options in Camden to eat, this is not one of them.

i think the presentation OF FOOD could be improved looking at it from clubs end we could improve our MC WHAT HE ORDERED ALL HAD RICE BEEN IN ASIA FOR 5 MONTHS I GOT A BLACK OUT ON RICE FOR A GOOD WHILE

Rock and roll night on Sat the 15th Oct was fantastic. Food was great, band was excellent and the dancers were exceptional. (No need for a floorshow they were the floorshow). ??'?

Always a great place to see live entertainment and the Chinese Restaurant is awesome

Just popped in for a quick coffee & cake - no cake & coffee was mainly froth (even the latte, which shouldn't have froth!!).
Also, this was served from the bar! Very gruff bartender.
Think it's about time they spent some of their pokie profits on a major upgrade.
A proper cafe & some delicious pastries & slices & fresh sandwiches would be a popular drawcard.
The restaurant was awful - grubby staff sitting at the tables - eating what looked like leftovers from breakfast! Very grubby.
The only good things about the place were the friendly reception staff & clean amenities.Even the exterior is rundown & uninviting and needs more than a paint job.

great little RSL not a big fan of the Chinese. I don't understand why alot of RSL clubs have chinese food.

People are very friendly. The food is good if you like Chinese and the beer is cold and tastes good too recommend it to anyone

First time my friend and I had been to this club, we became members, food was great and entertainers "sweet talk" were awesome!!!

Nice clean club, great service not too loud like bigger clubs like the country feel

10.80 Chinese menu daily... you cannot go wrong. A decent meal to have with a beer or soft drink.However, you do need to ask for a knife, they only give you a spoon and fork to eat.I suggest you do not get soft noodles as they are not drained properly and the meal swims in water.Apart from that, as stated is a nice meal, not the best, though I am happy with the price for what you get.
