Family restaurant: the furnishings are dated and in dire need of a refresh (wobbly tables, plastic chairs, and old school brass dividers, no noise dampening tactics in use), not all the TVs work, and the lights aren't bright or even welcoming. Food is pretty sub-standard old-school sports club fare (fine) but service was apathetic and we had to find our own cutlery and napkins? It was barely an "ok" experience, and we definitely won't rush to return.

Plenty of dining options and bar facilities are available. Broad menu suitable for most tastes with daily specials. Good service times for a large group with quality produce. It pays to be a member as all food and drinks are cheaper (not me, boo hoo).
A good option for a dinner for two or more.

Always good. The kids playground is great. Last time we went they also had a staff run craft activity which was great. Super simple but really resonated with the kids and also settled them down for a while. Fantastic idea, keep it up. Food is also great.

Just enjoyed another excellent meal at the Canberra Southern Cross Club in Woden. Staff as usual were friendly and accommodating, making the whole dining experience something very special. Thank you Canberra Southern Cross Club and keep up the good work,.,.

We come to SCC Woden quite often, and enjoy the club's atmosphere and of course the happy hour and food.

The staff are great, but a big shout out to Jenny who is a supervisor in the dining and bar area. She is always helpful and focused on making sure everyone gets what they need. Thank you Jenny!
