Played a round here (July '24) it's an awesome little country course with some of the best greens I've played on. Flawless, without a blemish on them. As good as many high priced courses in Melbourne. Amazing value for money, and excellent conditions for a volunteer managed golf course.

Beautiful setting, very attractive and comfortable venue, pleasant and friendly staff. Wasn't there to play golf but a group lunchtime meeting. Tucker was simple but very clean, well presented, plentiful and sensibly priced. I hope our group chooses this venue again..??'???'?

Natural setting, wildlife galore, course very playable with lots of trickery.

The Bistro has a great range of tasty and healthy food available. Great staff, good atmosphere and very reasonable prices for the meals. The Chef has some very interesting and tasty "Specials" worth a try!

All day golf for one low price of $40! We played 27 holes had a lovely day. Course very well maintained and members friendly. Some interesting terrain and good greens. Bigger clubhouse than you'd expect

Very nice meals pic 1 sticky Date and ice cream.
Pic 2 fish n chips, pic 3 beef cheek and pic 4 trio roast everything was cooked just right.

Great food and the staff are friendly.. Bon the manager is a great bloke.

Great meals. Steak was cooked perfectly.

Service was extremely slow.
One diner was served rotten chicken, other meals were burnt.
Weren't offered a replacement. Manager was disgustingly rude! Probably the worst service and food I've ever experienced.

First time here came for 3 days to play golf tea .golf tomorrow .
Wow this place is great husband had surf turf said was great I had the satay wow it was as a yellow colour I went mmm but bloody delicious best satay had for ages worth giving this a place for tea .we are from Adelaide .

A very pleasant 18 hole course in Ararat, Western Victoria. Not overly long but well-maintained. Decent sized greens, reasonably quiet, and friendly atmosphere. A good place to play. ??

Good golf course to play, pleasant walk, and good views from some tees of the surrounding district. Clubhouse is inviting. Members great to play with

The golfing and dining experience was exceptional.
The staff were friendly, the food was very good and the golf course was, although a little water logged on some of the holes, a well laid out and well maintained course. The front nine is challenging to say the least. I suggest to do the front 9 if your only wanting to play 9, it's relatively flat compared to the back 9, (one of the back 9 holes is called Coronary Hill, just to give you an idea of its difficulty...

Salad and chips were good. Menu said chicken pot pie came in a creamy garlic sauce when in fact it came in a watery broth. Very disappointing and the staff couldnt care less.

Excellent food and service. Will return!

Tables were greasy.. not a very inviting environment

I ordered a chicken schnitzel when I cut into it, it was quite pink. I sent it back for the waitress to come back over and say the chef temperature checks everything, and they were happy with it. It was pink! Raw! I still got charged full price for it all. Very disappointing.
