Was very windy the day we played but was fun. Lovely looking out over the water. Shame no restaurant.

We got caught in the rain whilst doing the Coogee-Bondi walk & whilst huddling outside, one of the staff generously invited us in out of the rain. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. It's a wonderful location with fantastic views.

Amazing views and friendly staff.
You could easily do whale watching from this location.
The bar was small but good, overall.

We had a corporate function in the large room, and we all loved it. It's hard to beat these gorgeous views.

We loved playing bowls, too.
Another bonus is that this place sits right on the Coastal Walk. You could walk to Bondi Beack in 50 min, or to Maroubra in 1.5 hours.

We had a two day corporate workshop here and Matt was so accommodating to our every need. We required extra tables and chairs as we had more guests than initially thought, and Matt very happily snuck the extra seating in without us noticing. The view was phenomenal and the AV set-up suited our needs exactly. It was the perfect venue for our workshop and a beautiful spot to stick around for a drink afterwards and some bowling. Highly recommend!

Had a great day with the family and it's an undeniably beautiful spot, but couldn't help but feel the staff and members were sniffy toward non-members. The lady behind the bar was pretty blunt with the kids in our party for no reason. If you're not happy to deal with the public, don't let us in?

We had our wedding reception here. Venue has an amazing view and Greg and the team were very helpful before and during the event. I absolutely recommend to have your event here. Thanks Greg and team!

Really lovely place, they also have a BBQ stove where you can book (for free I believe). The views from the area is also spectacular. Great place for a game and some snacks with friends.

Clovelly Bowling & Recreation club is a terrific location to enjoy a group party ? We went for our Christmas party and really enjoyed the beautiful weather and ocean views. You can bring your own food and there's a bar with a variety of drinks ? ???

On the long coastal walk from Coogee beach to Bondi. This is a very pleasant place to stop have a cold drink and look at the wonderful views. You did have to scan your licence and become a temporary member. Staff friendly and happy to help. Even purchased a Clovelly baseball cap.

We held our wedding (ceremony and reception) at the bowling club and thanks to Greg, it was all perfect!
He was never too busy to chat to myself or my wedding coordinator as to how to best manage the day and everything ran so smoothly. The staff were lovely and everyone had a ball.

Just last weekend, we held my sister's wedding at Clovelly Bowling club. I could not recommend this venue higher. Apart from the sensational location and stunning views, the staff could not possibly have been more friendly or helpful. Greg, Pontus, Abbey and the team bent over backwards to ensure the day and evening went smoothly. They were so attuned to the guests that everyone commented on how their service contributed greatly to making it a wonderful day and event.

What a hidden gem. Great old school bowling club (with active greens) in one of the best spots along the Sydney coast....all with friendly and welcoming staff too. Best of all, I'm fairly sure there's no Pokies here. If there is, they are well hidden. It was great to sit and talk over a beer without that stupid electronic machine music loudly playing in the background.

This is truely a great club! They have a perfect atmosphere, good food, fast service and spectacular views. You simply have to come for any and every event, highly recommended.

What an absolute gem of Sydney. . Sitting outside with friends a cold schooner in hand on a beautiful autumn morning anzac day!!

Book a game of lawn bowls, enjoy the views and cheap beer.

Great place for game and a chill on a sunny day with great views and a cold drink.Its a shame they have glass glasses? can they not get tumblers that dont break and smash? especially since its barefoot bowls?

The club is an awesome spot to play bowls, however the admin required to reach this point warrants a 1 star review at best. If you call the club (and they actually answer) be prepared to speak with the most unenthusiastic, incompetent bloke of all time. Amongst my friendship group, our ratio of playing bowls vs attempting to book is approximately 1:20. Our most recent experience came after a week of calling and leaving messages (it should be an immediate red flag when a businesss answering machine says leave a message and we might call you back, if not call again), until finally I got through to the aforementioned bloke. We penciled in a date and time, after which he said to call back with the exact numbers and pay the required deposit. Within 15 minutes of ending our conversation, I attempted to call back and of course was greeted by the unenthusiastic bloke on the answering machine. After leaving a message and spending 24 hours calling on an hourly basis to no avail, I finally got through to a slightly more enthusiastic employee who informed me that somehow during the past 24 hours they managed to book out the venue. Cheers!

A fabulous club run by absolute ledgends!I book every year for bowls and come for band gigs. Truly fabulous!

An excellent bowling club. Excellent view. Located along the coastal walk between Bronte and Clovelly. Friendly staff. Very clean. Lawn bowls and barefoot bowls available here. Bar service here. No bistro - but they sell meat pies and some other food over the counter. COVID-safe policies have been implanted here. Extremely large air conditioned ballroom - perfect to hire for any function - the ballroom has its own kitchen. #clovelly
