Twin Towns Club Banora, Banora Point NSW

I booked a table for 17 at this so-called "restaurant" for a family reunion, hoping for a pleasant evening. What we got instead was an hour and a half of waiting for food that wasn't even worth the time. The atmosphere was painfully average - definitely not the warm, inviting setting you'd expect for a gathering of this size, which included young children and adults.

When the food finally arrived, it was a complete disaster. The rib eye fillet? Bland, gristly, overpriced (at $36) and so overcooked it could have been mistaken for shoe leather. The Barramundi? I've seen better-looking fish at a pet store, and the taste - if you can even call it that - was anything but barramundi.

And let's talk about the sausage: one lonely sausage priced at $20! Adding insult to injury, they charged extra for a pathetic excuse of a side salad. It's almost as if they were trying to see just how much they could get away with.

As for management team, they were the cherry on top of this disaster. Rude, dismissive, and full of excuses, they clearly had no interest in making things right. If you're looking for a place with subpar food, absurd prices, and a manager who treats customers like an inconvenience, then this is the spot for you. Otherwise, stay far, far away.

Went to the club for dinner last night and ordered garlic prawns AND asked for a side salad. I was informed that NO form of salad products were available and would not be in the future???
How can any restaurant or club decide that salads were not necessary.
That will be my last meal at this club!!

My wife and I visited a friend here and had snacks and coffee. Good food, although self-service. Quiet atmosphere in the dining area and pleasant. Staff helpful and friendly in suggesting choices.

This photograph, in my opinion, beautifully illustrates the standards of this establishment. It doesn't get much better when you go in; ALL the dining tables are stickier than you could ever imagine, and there are random bits of tape across dodgy looking doorways throughout the place. Renovations or not, the state that they leave it in is highly uninviting and downright dangerous. Not only that, but staff may 'refuse' you and your family access of the shnooker table for the enitre afternoon due to some soundingly fabricated "shnooker night" featuring two whole competitors. Not to mention the bathroom is in the shnooker room, so you have to 'speak quietly' on the way through!? Crazy.

Its also next to the airport which isnt always a bad thing, but the sound from the low flying planes every 30 minutes or so can get very loud if you're sitting outdoors.

You really need to lift your game with the meals? Absolutely terrible grade meat cuts and limp salad on the side.At least I received a refund after I asked. STOP EMBARRASSING YOUR WAITER STAFF THAT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THE ABUSE, YOU THE MANAGER SHOULD BE WALKING TABLES ASKING IF THE FOOD IS AT LEAST"OK"!!!!
