I booked a table for 17 at this so-called "restaurant" for a family reunion, hoping for a pleasant evening. What we got instead was an hour and a half of waiting for food that wasn't even worth the time. The atmosphere was painfully average - definitely not the warm, inviting setting you'd expect for a gathering of this size, which included young children and adults.

When the food finally arrived, it was a complete disaster. The rib eye fillet? Bland, gristly, overpriced (at $36) and so overcooked it could have been mistaken for shoe leather. The Barramundi? I've seen better-looking fish at a pet store, and the taste - if you can even call it that - was anything but barramundi.

And let's talk about the sausage: one lonely sausage priced at $20! Adding insult to injury, they charged extra for a pathetic excuse of a side salad. It's almost as if they were trying to see just how much they could get away with.

As for management team, they were the cherry on top of this disaster. Rude, dismissive, and full of excuses, they clearly had no interest in making things right. If you're looking for a place with subpar food, absurd prices, and a manager who treats customers like an inconvenience, then this is the spot for you. Otherwise, stay far, far away.

Went to the club for dinner last night and ordered garlic prawns AND asked for a side salad. I was informed that NO form of salad products were available and would not be in the future???
How can any restaurant or club decide that salads were not necessary.
That will be my last meal at this club!!

My wife and I visited a friend here and had snacks and coffee. Good food, although self-service. Quiet atmosphere in the dining area and pleasant. Staff helpful and friendly in suggesting choices.

This photograph, in my opinion, beautifully illustrates the standards of this establishment. It doesn't get much better when you go in; ALL the dining tables are stickier than you could ever imagine, and there are random bits of tape across dodgy looking doorways throughout the place. Renovations or not, the state that they leave it in is highly uninviting and downright dangerous. Not only that, but staff may 'refuse' you and your family access of the shnooker table for the enitre afternoon due to some soundingly fabricated "shnooker night" featuring two whole competitors. Not to mention the bathroom is in the shnooker room, so you have to 'speak quietly' on the way through!? Crazy.

Its also next to the airport which isnt always a bad thing, but the sound from the low flying planes every 30 minutes or so can get very loud if you're sitting outdoors.

You really need to lift your game with the meals? Absolutely terrible grade meat cuts and limp salad on the side.At least I received a refund after I asked. STOP EMBARRASSING YOUR WAITER STAFF THAT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THE ABUSE, YOU THE MANAGER SHOULD BE WALKING TABLES ASKING IF THE FOOD IS AT LEAST"OK"!!!!

Tuesday night 2 for 1 staek nights are great. Big, juicy and delicious. $3 New Zealand ice cream cones and $9 top shelf drinks are a bargain.

I'm never one to write a bad review but went there for dinner staff where extremely rude especially the Security man I have a bad health condition and wasn't drinking alcohol he came up to me after my friend and I just finished eating and told me I had to much to drink! we just laughed at him as I wasn't even drinking alcohol, where going to look at the desert but instead we left Absolutely disgusted in the place.
We will not be returning.

Disgusting service from all the staff. The lady at check in was not welcoming in the slightest. My partner left his wallet at home and had no form of identification so he was asked to provide something on his phone with our address. After 5 minutes of him searching his emails to find anything She rolled her eyes and said "don't worry just sign in". We went up to the restaurant and ordered our meals. One of which was plain barramundi and chips and we specifically asked multiple times for the meal not to be seasoned as our family member has allergies. Surely enough the meal came out covered in seasoning. Despite this being a simple request. No seasoning. On anything. Just salt. We hardly ever have any issues ordering this elsewhere however the staff today weren't accommodating at all nor were they apologetic when we asked why our instructions weren't followed. The meal was snatched away from the collection area and the staff threw blame to one another in front of us. I interrupted and said "we asked for no seasoning on anything!" The manager shushed me and followed us back to our table in an unprofessional manner. Yelling out "excuse me" I turned around and said "yes?" She replied "no I'm talking to the lady who ordered the fish not you" Our family member was then asked to list off what she could and couldn't eat and was offered a salad which she declined as she can't eat lettuce. The manager rolled her eyes and asked "you seriously can't eat lettuce?" Just appalling behaviour and attitude from all staff involved. It makes the person with the allergy feel like a burden when their request is basic.

Great local with affordable drinks and lovely food. Also a fabulous kids area outside.
Only gripe was ordered the special Salmon off the board which said it came with rice, however when the meal arrived, no rice. So without it, it wasn't a very big meal for the price. It was still extremely delicious none the less!

A huge shout out to Peter who picked us up from Juniors and took us to Club Banora as part of the shuttle service. He is an absolute gem! Amazing service, we called him and he said he would be at Juniors in 4 minutes to take us to Club Banora. When he arrived he opened our doors and treated us like royalty. He had fantastic conversation the whole way. And then we were lucky enough to get him for our trip back. What an absolute asset to your business. We loved our time at Club Banora. We will be back.

I came here for the first time last night, upon entering and trying to sign up as a new member I was greeted by a rude member of staff who was clearly frustrated, this wasn't pleasant a simple "hi guys how are you?" would have been nice.
After signing up we went for dinner and the disappointment continued. We ordered a rib eye steak to be cooked rare and it came out blue and the barramundi which came out dry and unappetizing.

club Banora Friday night raffles are excellent the staff are great especially Annie. My gripe is the ridiculously loud PA music? that is played throughout the club after. I like to play the pokies but have now given it a miss. I did complain but was given some convoluted reason why this type of Music?? was played . Friday nights were great but now no thankyou .5 stars for the raffles zero for after .

Great service by all staff from the entry, to the bar and in the restaurant. Well priced food which was delicious, can't wait to visit again.

The staff are friendly and helpful.
We ordered a spaghetti carbonara and creamy garlic prawns with rice.
The carbonara was overloaded with that rubbish diced bacon you'd find at Coles. The carbonara sauce was flavourful but the bacon let it down.
The creamy garlic prawns was flavourful, 10 prawns but why they leave the tail shell on I'll never understand ????you can't eat it so why leave it on.

Mother's Day 2023. We spent $200 on food and drink. It took 53 min to order lunch, standing in a line. Those disabled or old would never had made that. All 6 meals I ordered were STONE COLD ? when they were delivered. My oldest sons favourite meal was the worst Parmi he'd ever had.... Totally discusted with the service. 1 person taking orders, had twice the patronage because Juniors being reconstructed. One till, sad.NEVER Eating there again,

Club Banora or "Club B" is a great place to go for drinks, lunch or dinner with the kids. It's also a great place for a birthday party. We were there for two yesterday.

The kids have a lot to do and manage to keep busy for hours while the adults catch up and have a few drinks or a meal with little interruption ? or you can join them for a game of Mini Golf, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Football... into the night.

It has a chilled atmosphere, great food and nice staff. It's especially nice at night when the fairy lights come on as the sun sets and a full moon rises. ??

Note: The Cube - little outdoor bar, was open last Summer, but it may not be there all the time.

Very disappointing... used to love this place... very young staff who are pleasant but unhelpful. chicken schnitzel chips and salad- woollies schnitty 12ish chips dry "salad" just slaw actually..

I went to this club tonight, I ordered panko squid And A schnitzel. It was way over priced and the squid tasted like air fried $2 squid. The staff made sure the line was out the door so we waited half an hour, got charged full price for drinks even know we had a discount. The food and service is disgusting. Im going to bowls club and never EVER coming back.

$30 For a steak and chips..no salad; just steak and chips.
The last few visits have been less than desirable aswell with missing meals; dirty tables etc.
I can understand the two for one meals lacking a salad; but not the full priced meal.
I'll definitely be looking at somewhere else to take my family.

Have been going to this club for a number of years. Nice meals for a nice price. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

Table of 10. Two of us didn't get a meal?? It was forgotten. I filled up on other peoples chips due to the long wait. Vegetables! So much broccoli! Just to help fill the plate from the small steak! No apology. No free drink offered. Very poor.

Medium perfect, chips brown and very very salty. Steak also very salty should have taken back but persavered. Have eaten there in past and all good but this time not good at all

Good sized meals, we both had grilled pork medallions, lovely filling meals, generous with the veggies. We have had many different meals, the thing that sticks in my mind was how lively and hot the meals were.

The food was good, staff were nice, it has a fairly flat generous size carpark, easy to access, nice decor, children's play area enclosed. There are disability car spaces closer to the entrance, and also an undercover drop off area, but you will need a brolly if the weather is bad.
The food is good prices good value, specials and kids menu, seating area large, but book if you want to guarantee your spot.

I like this club but feel that it does miss the mark these days. It used to be a great little club with some dynamic cover bands several years ago. The times I have visited lately, it has more of family friendly atmosphere which is fine but some times its nice to have a more adults only venue for the peace of mind that little ones are not in ear shot or in a smoking area. Just a point of view. Otherwise they tick the boxes for good tasting food and food and drink prices.

$2 for membership that you already reap the benefits from by just ordering a drink and/or meal. The food is really good and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good vibes and good food.

Went to Club Banora tonight in a party of 3. Line was long to order like usual, but generally it's worth the wait. Ordered a starter and 3 meals. The young girl working the register was so lovely and personable. We received our starter and 2 of the mains, told the 3rd wouldn't be long. 25 minutes later, meals were finished and still waiting on the 3rd. My mum asked that they don't bother plating hers whenever it's ready and just put it straight in a takeaway as we had already finished. Another 15 minutes and the takeaway box arrived carried by a young blonde girl. No smile, no apology for the wait, no apology for forgetting the meal initially. Just plonked on the table and she walked off.
We do love this place and frequent it often. A forgotten meal can be forgiven from an apologetic staff member with a smile. Not this time.

We had a bit of a reunion here, the lunch was good & well priced. The atmosphere was good & staff were helpful & friendly.

I go there regularly. Great spot, good food and most of all good cold beer.

A nice friendly club to visit. Meals are great, a meal deal is two for one at the Slice and Fork eatery.

After having a delicious steak special meal on Tuesday, we returned with friends on Wednesday for the barramundi special. So disappointing! The fish was dry and barely luke warm. Because we had guests, we decided to not make scene. We won't risk bringing guests ever again.

Wednesday 14/4/2021 my partner & I had the worse roast meal ever....We ordered roast beef that was tougher than shoe leather...obviously from the cheap cut of beef they roasted (blade steak).The meal was served with luke warm frozen vegetables & mashed potato ....yes mashed potato!!?? How difficult is it to roast potatoes..?This Club seriously needs to review it's menu & start serving quality food instead of the food they have been serving up year in year out.Perhaps a few daily specials & not the 2 for $22 daily meal deals which has been the same for years.!!!

First time visiting here. The club was clean, easy parking, friendly staff. The food at the Slice and Fork was fantastic. Good value, generous size and cooked to absolute perfection. Very pleasantly surprised by this place and will definitely go back.
