I brought my elderly parents, both in their 90s, to lunch today, hoping for a special treat. Unfortunately, it was our first visit in a long time, and we won't be coming back. We ordered three chicken schnitzels, one of which was loaded, but all three were tough and hard to cut. The loaded schnitzel had an off taste, and my wife's chicken was not at all what was described on the menu. I had the house-battered fish, chips, and salad. While the fish was quite good, the batter was excessively oily, and all the salads were dry. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially given our high expectations. Now, all of us are left feeling off with dry mouths.

Canterbury Leagues club is my favourite club in Sydney. Whenever I'm in Sydney I always go there. The food and entertainment are first class and the staff are friendly and helpful. And if I feel like a flutter, there's an abundance of machines to choose from. I'm from Brisbane and enjoy the club so much, I became a member (love the bulldogs). And now I'm looking forward to my next visit to Canterbury Leagues club and watching a game live. GO DOGGIES!

We had best time in sports league club where we can play virtual games like darts, batting, Golf. Not only for kids but adults will love it too. Staff were so helpful

Not happy with The Bistro, I ordered a mid rare and got a well done. Didn't send it back because I'm starving...that's how small the chips are when you move the Salad out of the plate.

I am a long time member and still disappointed that the Chefs DON'T remember to offer more vegetarian options on their menu's.
The menu should have 25% vegetarian options with the rest chicken, meat and seafood.
That's why we spend more time at Bankstown sports club.

We had a great time at the sports simulator in Canterbury leagues due to the fact that our host Michael and Andrew accommodated for all our needs. They made sure that all our events were set up, everything was on time and helped to contribute to an overall great experience. I will definitely be returning due to the expertise of Michael and Andrew. Canterbury leagues definitely has two great employees who go above and beyond.

Decent club with a reasonable sized onsite parking. Inside is modern and well kept. Resturants inside have decent food.

A very popular RSL, good yum cha on weekends and Bistro packed on weekend nights. 30min wait on food $60 for seafood platter bit expensive for "pub" style but tasted okay. Service is pretty good.

Such a beautiful renovated club and now they have a new wonderful bar. Such an asset to the local area

Had morning tea here, followed by lunch. I chose the turkey roast. This was an extremely generous portion of food. The turkey was well cooked and delicious. It was served with very nice vegetables. There is plenty of parking and a lovely atmosphere in the club. Great customer service.

So surprised that the Canterbury Leagues Club is huge, comparable to the clubs in Eastern Suburbs. Best place was the Cafe, with a good selection of cakes, which we all enjoted, accompanied by tasty, full bodied coffee. The staff were all very patient, while having a hard time making up our minds to the cakes. We ended trying 5 different cakes between 6 of us. Thumbs up!

Well done, good place, scenery interior, great food Lamb Shank and Soup of the day with Macaroni, cosy atmosphere and great feeling here, We came last time in big group of 30 but never lost a good environment.... Best...Best !

Right now is the No.1 Chinese restaurant in Sydney. The food is absolutely fine traditional Chinese food, every dish is perfect. The price is reasonable in such a high inflation period compare with the common food. The environment of the restaurant is the best in Sydney.

I went for dinner last night - it was busy and I was very very happy to wait for my food! Customer service was awesome. However! So dissatisfied with the roast of the day (pork). I thought with such a busy night: the roast of the day would be great and it would be fresh and succulent. Sadly; It was dry and tough and definitely made 2-3 days prior. Freshly cooked pork has a completely different taste. Day old pork and beyond, has its unique taste. Disgusting! Although we ordered sides I still have a bad taste in my mouth.

The club is lovely but the fish and chips from The Bistro was so oily, it literally oozed oil and I couldn't eat it. ?

It's such a shame, as the last time we were there, (before Covid) it was really lovely. ????

Love this local club. Always family friendly.

Easy location to find. Parking on-site is ample. Worth becoming a member as the financial benefits can pay for themselves in a visit. We ate at the bistro. Staff were very helpful. Food was pretty decent and good value if you're a member. Definitely going back on a more regular basis.

Baby high chair is dirty as. You need to clean it yourself.

Baby change room doesn't even have hot water.

The atmosphere is good lots of parking and joining as a member was easy.

Coffee was good but the burger bun feels a bit tough.

Will come back again hopefully will be a better experience.

Great bistro. 24 hour cafe and nice spot for dinner and drinks, great kids play area too.

Awesome club. Went here for the first time recently with friends and was taken back by the waterfall scape on the outside and the forest like set up inside the venue - Something very different and unique about this.
Had supper at the Chinese restaurant they have upstairs which was great food and service. Highly recommend this place for anyone thinking of going here.

Parking was slightly hard to find due to the rain, walked in and was greeted by the door person as he was extremely helpful as he asked if I wanted to become a member because of the perks that come with it... So I became a member straight away as the membership was $5 and you get 20% off food & drinks for the family, was a no brainer... Staff were friendly throughout the Club, food and drinks were at a very good price due to the 20% off membership card... Food was tasty but the only thing I can say is that the Seafood Platter for 2 is really for 1... Not enough seafood for 2 as they advertise but everything else was fine... Overall club was great... Had a ball...

Went there after several years. The renovation is amazing. Lots of eateries, and the Atmosphere is contemporary.

This club is like a holiday style resort , in way it's layout is like a mini star casino. Big VIP area , plenty of staff around ,lots of parking ,a bit of luxury in the inner west.

Sports bar closed 4 nights a week. The bakehouse open 3 nights a week. The steakhouse open 2 nights a week. Not many eating options after 9pm. Used too be a very entertaining place and vibing . Unfortunately last 2 years has seen a rapid decline .Constant bickering between the football club & leagues club has led long term supporters down.

Great ambience.... atmosphere.... looks lot nicer and different than my last visit. Staff ... they are well dressed and courteous.... Make sure visit for lunch or dinner ...!!
