The facility, overall, is very good. The main building has, I believe, three restaurants, an amazing WW1 / WW2 war memorabilia room, there is, of course, the pokies, and the list goes on. We stayed for 3 nights in an executive room, which was nice, well equipped inclusive of slow internet and breakfast (quite a decent inclusion, however poorly executed with burnt omelette and very average scrambled eggs). As stated, nice overall, however we were bitterley dissapointed with shower mould - the cleaners obviously don't know any mould removal hacks - and a bathroom extraction fan that was so clogged the mirror fogged up within seconds of starting the shower)

We have been here many times and enjoyed the Monday steak night, Tuesday ribs night, and happy hour. I ordered the bangers and mash one lunch time the other day and was a bit disappointed with the sausages which appeared to have been cooked prior and re heated. Hopefully you can fix that and I look forward to return to your great venue.

Perfect place for my business trip where I have a quiet space for relaxing with a nice riverside view for early work in the morning. Generous pork ribs for dinner and free breakfast included; losing a bit money on gaming machine unfortunately however it made the business trip a lot of fun. Just 5 mins driving to Yarrawonga for my project and absolutely stay there monthly until my project is completed.

Love this place. Great meals. Awesome live music and not so overly priced.
You can also get a courtesy bus to take you home after a few drinks.

Nice place to stay. Food packages are a nice touch. Not that we ate there a lot. Like to visit different eateries around the town. The stone grill is something different to try.

It's nice to see the rooms we stayed in have been renovated and they look beautiful.
Comfy beds and new couches and lovely dining area. We ordered room service for the first time,
Diggers is a great place to go for a decent sized meal for so cheap too.
We really enjoyed our complimentary breakfast too :)

We stayed in the caravan park, which was great. The amenities were modern & very clean. We had meals at the club with no problems. The light show was fantastic.

Only went for lunch. Excellent steak sandwich and pot of beer for $10. Happy friendly staff.

ClubMulwala was excellent, you can join for only $5 per year and you immediately get your joining fee back, if you have breakfast, lunch or dinner there, as you get about $3-4 off main meals as a member, also discount on drinks as well. Besides the main dining area, with normal meals, there is a Chinese Restaurant which in our opinion was excellent. Especially special fried rice with plenty of extra fillings and the spring rolls.

If you want to have a smoke at the motel, you have to walk to the river where there's a single chair with an ashtray
BUT at the pockie place, they have an inclosed room with heaters for the player to continue gambling.
Motel rooms were good.

No internet. No lift, so you need to carry your items up 4 flights of stairs. Rooms are poorly maintained. The view over the lake is amazing.

Huge meals and great prices. Very busy for lunch.
Entree size loaded fries , huge and warm chicken wrap.

Chinese was amazing 5 adults for mothers day. We ordered so many dishes it was so yummy. Cost $340 stuff was very friendly always their to make sure you had a drink. My wheel chair could fit right in.

This review is for the restaurant.
We were in a large group of 16 with adults and children.
The food was good and in massive servings.
The service was very good, quick and attentive.
Overlooking the Murray, it was a pleasant evening!

Great location - walking distance to Mulwala Ski Club & Yarrawonga. Clean room & excellent value for money when you join the Club for $5 and get a discount for accommodation which includes a cooked breakfast off their menu. We were in the executive room which has a lovely view overlooking the lake. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Really disappointed. After hearing great things we booked for the Stone Grill. Our booking was at 6.45. We ordered the Friday Night Special and received our entree in reasonable time. We then waited an hour without getting our mains. We asked and were told "it's coming" which it did after another 10 minute wait. We then waited another 45 minutes and dessert still had not arrived so we chose to leave foregoing the dessert component of the meal.
The reastaurant was not full however the two other couples on nearby tables also had to ask when their meals were coming.
The staff were friendly and did cut out the cost of two of our drinks to make amends for the lack of dessert, however there was no explanation as to the delay and it seemed as if it was just standard practice.
The food when it did arrive was delicious but when you cook most of it yourself we cannot understand why the lengthy wait periods. We won't dine there again and will not recommend.

The location of the resort is fantastic. The facilities are excellent and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The dining options are great (pub food) and lounges around the place are brilliant. Lots of beers on tap, lots to do and see. Worth a visit for sure! Can't fault the place.

Wonderfully renovated.. food is good value and staff are okay. Perhaps some younger staff would liven the place.. however for Mulwala it now tops the ski club as the place to be.

Stayed for one night.
There is no facility for microwave or anything else in case you have to heat up food for your kid.
Kids don't eat everything.
Rooms were dirty and no mats in the toilet.
No internet.
Everything is only on the paper.
A 2 star motel provides you more facilities then this fancy looking club.

Food was overpriced for what it was, pork ribs tasted old and gross.
Garlic bread was $9 for two tiny pieces
Staff were rude and short to us
Was really unhappy after a long day of work, just wanted a nice dinner and now feel ill.

We come here regularly (3 times a year for the past 10 years) and we we're very disappointed with our visit this time. We have an expectation based on our previous stays and sadly it didn't come close this time. The room, although clean, was not comfortable. It didn't have the warm welcoming feel we have become accustomed to.
Dinner Friday night at Diggers bistro was less than ordinary. Cold fish, wilted salad and about 10 measly dried out chips.
On the positive side, the bar staff were friendly and the cocktails were beautiful!
Our treatment at Essenza day spa lived up to all expectations as it always does. The massages were amazing and the staff were very professional and accommodating. In fact, they went above and beyond to make us feel special.

Great location for a weekend away. Great views over the lake, all the facilities of a large club, lovely Chinese restaurant.
Rooms in the resort are large and very comfortable.
With a beautiful breakfast included in our rate we were very happy.

The rooms at the club are wonderful and clean and the staff very welcoming. The club has been refurbished and looks fantastic. We were so glad to be coming back the only disappointment was the restaurant food at "Diggers Restaurant" we ordered a Snapper stack with corn salsa salad which did not taste like snapper at all and we did not eat it very disappointing at the quality. This is the first time we have left food on the plate hopefully a one off.

Loved out stay here. Room was very clean and loved the housekeeping visit on our 2nd day was nice to come back to have everything freshly made and re-stocked. Food was great at the diggers restaurant and stone grill.

This venue has had a makeover and is super stylish upstairs. The objects on display are delightful, top quality and so interesting. The Veterans Museum is amazing. So much to read and view. Such a tragedy is war but so lovely people who fought for our freedom and country are remembered in such a respectful way. Such interesting memorabilia on display including weapons, medals, photos, equipment. Well worth a visit. Lest We Forget.

We were only there for a Deb ball. The food was good, the bar service was quick and friendly and the band was great. We will definitely look at another night out there.

Club Mulwala is a big, bustling, friendly place. There is a wide choice of bars/lounges/restaurants to choose from. Something for everyone. Good Covid safe checks and routines - the reception area is always attended with staff supervising the checking in of patrons.

The Bar Staff, Catering Staff and Reception Staff were all excellent. So friendly and helpful. Special mention to the Bar Manager, Troy (Macca), who made us feel like locals every night we were there.

Great venue. Want the best Chinese meal in town (Yarrawonga/Mulwala) this is the place to come. Diggers restaurant also has a good variety of food, however meals can be large. Some changes in menu required, like the very popular Thursday's Mixed Grill.Get in early though.

Had a meal at the on site Chinese restaurant. Great food. However we must have caught the bar staff on an extremely bad night. Drink service apparently is different to food service. Never explained to patrons. We waited for someone to take our order at the table. With no success and a table coming in well after us and being served I decided to go to the bar to TRY and get a drink. Myself and others waiting we totally ignored by drink staff. Eventually someone said they have called for extra staff to assist. If it was the opening night Id understand. For Management if they were watching or spoke to patrons it would have been extremely embarrassing. I wasnt the only one complaining. This is our first bad experience at the club. Not sure if we will return. And Im not a complainer and rarely write reviews. My wife thought Id skipped town by the time I returned with drinks!

Its ok. The rooms are clean but small and the staff overall were lovely. Breakfast was very average and when I asked for soft scrambled eggs a cook from the kitchen came out and argued with me. Very unprofessional.
