Just had the best golf weekend away with a group of mates and honestly couldn't be more satisfied with the whole experience. The hotel owners ,John and his wife, were so accommodating to us all and helped us with anything we needed.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a weekend away with good mates or even just a relaxing getaway.

We will definitely be booking another trip there for sure. thanks heaps again for the stay.

So glad I found this beautiful place after a terrible experience for the previous 10 days. Rooms are renovated beautifully, amazing beds, pillows, towels, shower, heater, block out blinds, just everything, couldn't fault it. And best of all so incredibly clean. Beautiful view over the golf course and very quiet at night. Helen and John are most friendly, helpful hosts you'll ever meet. We stayed in a balcony twin room. Highly recommend the balcony. And the on-site bistro was the best meal I've had in a very long time. If in Albury don't bother looking anywhere else. I would love to go back and stay longer.

Visited the Albury Commercial Golf Club for a weekend getaway, and it exceeded all expectations. The course was in fantastic condition, and the clubhouse provided a cozy atmosphere to relax after a round. Can't wait to return for another visit

Lovely resort , the rooms were clean and well kept. The grounds were green and well kept. Staff were friendly and handy to the gig we attended. ?

My advice is to ask, when booking, if there are families travelling together. My 93 yr old mother and I had a potentially lovely room overlooking the golf course but the view was blocked by a 4 cabin ute in front of our room/window despite the owners occupying the room 3 doors down. They were one of 3 families travelling together. On the 2 days I was there they took over the pool all afternoon (it's not a very big pool) and the BBQ facilities in the evening the. On the day I left the Ute who was reversed parked (so there exhaust was facing my front door) had their engine running for 10 minutes while my front door was open as I was packing the car.

Great views of the golf course from the restaurant. We had lunch there a very good eye fillet steak with crispy chips and a great side salad with lemon dressing. A reasonable selection of wines on hand as well.

Went for dinner on a Friday night without a booking. They had a large function on however still made room for us. Staff were very friendly and the meals were delicious. Would highly recommend. Bistro was clean and comfortable

Make sure you don't go there hungry. Ordered our food, then waited just under an hour before 3 of the 4 meals arrived. We had to eat, leaving our friend waiting another 10 minutes before she finally got her meal.
The meals were really nice once they finally arrived though.

We booked a table for dinner for 6. The booking process over the phone was very complex and I spoke to two different people. When we arrived they did not have our booking but fortunately found us a table.
The food order was messed up by the girl on the till.
One meal was cold and we were told they could not reheat it despite us saying we had no problem with it being microwaved.
The other meals were very good.
The red wine had obviously been open too long as it was disgusting. On requesting a glass of the same wine from a new bottle ( which we paid for) it was a pleasant wine.
The butter for the bread was rock solid and could not be spread.
A very disappointing evening despite the great view from the dining room.

Cannot express how awesome the guys at the pro shop were. Compared to other courses in the area(wodonga). This club treated us newbies like we had be playing and coming for years. Will be returning every weekend now. Cheers

Lunch was huge. I had nachos. Make sure you take a take away container if you can't eat it all. Staff will not let you .they don't have a take away license !!! Great views of course and surrounding hills. It feels like your in the middle of the country not the middle of Albury.

Went there first a 50th birthday, meal was just ok, not near as good as I was expecting. Beer was cold and the service was just OK as well, one of our family members didn't get her meal, when it was brought the attention of the waitresses, she was mortified and apologised profusely, but by that time other family members had shared their meals with her and her money was refunded. Obviously a problem in the kitchen. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will return and give it one more try. Get your act together guys, I understand that there was a busy time but missing someone's meal is not acceptable, because it is not the first time we have experienced this.

We stayed briefly for an overnight visit. The room was very clean and well cared for, but the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever had the displeasure of trying to sleep in.

The Motel itself is excellent, the only reason I dropped a star on Service is because there was no WiFi available for our one night stay but these things happen! Whilst restoration was attempted, no such luck and it was a Sunday night! Not so impressed with Golf Club Bistro. No light meals available, not even bowls of chips! Will not bother with the Bistro again!

What a great place to stay, kind and welcoming hosts, lovely outlook of Albury and golf course.
Modern hotel rooms, with a very modern bathroom.
The breakfast included was great, highly recommended.

Really good value for meals!! Never expect to be impressed by a small country club restaurant to serve such good food in a very up market looking restaurant. Not your usual club restaurant serving pub fare. Food well plated and generous! Very nice peaceful view of the golf greens from the balcony. Service is very professional and prompt. Will come back whenever we drive this way.

a much smaller location than the main club site. not a massive choice on the menu, but enough. mega chicken parmigiana was ok, but only a relatively small salad to go with it. a small fortune for a small salad side dish to have more salad. great views out over the golf course.

This very nice golf course is one of my favourites, with tree lined holes, with undulating fairways. Will challenge every player to think about their tee shots. It's about positioning for the next shot. The course is like many in Victoria at the moment with lots and lots of rain. Slightly soft, but playable. When I visited the were no golf drive carts due to conditions. But golf course looks in great shape. I highly recommend a game here, if you are heading to Albury. The staff are friendly and very eager to assist in any way.

I really enjoyed the restaurant. The menu selection was good and there were a number of dishes available for those who were budget conscious. I had the eye fillet (cooked rare) with chips and vegetables and it was absolutely magnificent. All elements were cooked perfectly. Visiting this restaurant is well worth the trek up the hill!

We enjoyed our short stay. The owner was kind enough to turn on the heater for us as we were checking in late. Beds were comfortable, room was spacious enough, fairly modern and clean.
The stay was quiet at night being away from the main roads.
Would definitely stay again.

For the price range it is unbelievable! The best I have experienced and I travel a lot!
The rooms have been refurbished and are modern, nicely sized with a lovely view over looking the countryside but only 1 km from town
I was hoping to get an early check in as I was getting off the boat in Melbourne at 7 am and then driving straight to Albury getting there around 11am and sure enough they had a room ready for me which was massively appreciated

Very welcoming motel, managers put a lot of effort into making sure you have everything you need. Rooms were spotless and the bistro next door was an added bonus. If you play golf it is magical.

100% recommend to anyone passing through! The man that runs the place is such a kind and caring person! So helpful and accommodating! The rooms are clean and modern with good bathroom facilities, the view is beautiful with lots of wildlife, pool is clean and there is even some play equipment for the kids. Very thankful for our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Fabulous place to stay, great view over the golf course. Modern room and large bathroom which is fabulous. The bed is really comfortable with nice pillows. The linen is clean and fresh. The room is spotless. This is certainly one of the best rooms that I've stayed in for some time. The pool is very tempting and ideal for relaxing. Have booked to stay on my return trip.

Simply wonderful and friendly service. Stewart and Hayley were very helpful and accommodating of our family, even with the difficulties placed by our sudden change to travel plans. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again next time in Albury!

Stuart and his wife are really nice hosts. Very friendly and welcoming. Free milk every morning and complementary Christmas biscuits! Well maintained place. BBQ and Pool area makes this place feel like a perfect holiday escape.

Really nice motel with good mountain views. Located at a very quiet location, the motel itself is clean and comfortable. The pool is clean and good size. Stuart is very nice and friendly. Free Breakfast is another bonus. Would come back again.

Lovely accommodation with modern bathroom, well designed rooms & quality linen and toiletries. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a two bedroom family suite which was very appreciated as we had a very late change of plans due to closed Victorian border. We also left some clothes behind and the Manager posted them back to us ' Free of Charge.

What a lovely place this was, it was just such a let down with the bed. For someone who has a bad back the bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood. Extremely uncomfortable. The couch was comfier!!! If the bed was decent this place would be a 10/10. Time for a mattress update

Good course, but starting on hole 11 for the back nine was a bit odd!

This resort has brand new owners who couldn't be more generous, friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable accommodation, so we recommended other family members to stay here as well. The view is lovely and we enjoyed watching a large family of kangaroos hop along the golf course in the afternoon. We had an indefinite stay under tragic circumstances and we had to stay at three different types of accommodation during our time in Albury. This was our final place and we wouldn't hesitate in just staying here any time we returned to Albury. Hands down the loveliest place to be.
