Coogee Beach Club - Local Club in Coogee New South Wales

Coogee Beach Club is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a laid-back day by the beach. The vibe is always welcoming, with great food, drinks, and amazing views of the ocean. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for both social gatherings and casual afternoons. The lawn bowls area is a fun addition, offering a bit of friendly competition, but unfortunately, the turf is quite uneven, which made it a bit tricky to play. Despite that, the overall experience at the club is excellent, and I'll definitely be back again for the great location and lively environment!

Coogee Beach is a popular beach in Sydney, Australia, known for its beautiful sandy shore and clear, calm waters. It's a great place for swimming, especially for families, as the waves are usually gentle. There are rock pools and ocean baths where people can swim safely. Coogee is also part of a famous coastal walk that goes all the way to Bondi Beach, offering amazing views of the ocean. The area around the beach has lots of cafés, restaurants, and shops, making it a fun place to spend the day.

During our visit, we experienced significant delays, having to wait for at least 40 minutes before a lane became available. We were offered a refund which I thought was the end of it. Then their general manager Simon Curtis completely went back on his word. Do not recommend.

Nice place to go. Drinks were good. Food was good. Parking is difficult, so suspect it is more popular with locals who can just walk there. Plenty of outdoor seating, however it would be nice to have some larger shade options outside to protect from the sun. Beach umbrellas in tables just don't cut it for shade, and it was a hot day. Not enough space available inside for us on the day, as everyone else clearly also didn't want to sit in the sun.

Nice relaxing place but worse pub food ever. Not even able to do French fries correctly, and we were big group, no one enjoyed and we had to use so much sauce to make meal tasty. Never again!
