Had a good night at the Legion Club ,food is good ,service good .Prices a bit on the high side but that's life now.

Great food atmosphere raffles and live bands. Family friendly. Balcony dining our favourite. Food portions are generous and good value specials all the time. Staff are friendly and service top notch. Can't say enough good things about this place. Great for young and old! ?

We were at the club on NYE 2023 on the roof top deck. The set up for NYE was nice, we did find it was a little over crowded.

Unfortunately the food platters that were included in the cost of the ticket were not good, it was served as sharing platters, we had a big group and some did not get anything to eat. For those that did eat the food was NOT good, the seafood was over cooked, oily, and seems to have been cooked in old dirty oil.

Overall experience was ok, just so very disappointing in the food as we each paid $125 per person, and it included 1 x drink and the shared platters. I am sure this beautiful club can do better!

This is the Lobster I received, last Saturday night, it was disgusting , hadn't been cleaned, still had grey bits of guts left in it, not even half the meat was put back in it!! disappointed to say the least, payed $80, was really looking forward to this treat, so disappointed ?? .

My favourite place in Coogee! They have an amazing function room too with a stunning view over the beach. The catering is top quality, absolutely delicious. Thank you so much to the team for such fantastic service!

Really nice view from the outside dining area on a sunny day. Food from the bistro/restaurant is only okay. The value for money isn't the best and they didn't devein our prawns on last visit which was very disappointing.

Had many time good dinner experiences with calamari as starter, but this Saturday wasn't pleasant at all!!!!

The calamari was not cooked enough, we think might be the first piece, then tried other pieces was nearly raw , feel very sick ?, told the staff but they said fresh ones should be as it is ????? Never would think ???" such kind of service would be face in such nice place . Terrible ?

We live locally and the daily specials are our go to for a mid week meal. Recently had a successful function on the rooftop with friends and they have all since been back to join. Highly recommend a visit and membership?

Great location right opposite Coogee Beach. It's hard to park around there but not the venue's fault, just something to be conscious of. I hired the Club Balcony for a small function and found it very reasonably priced and Deb was very helpful. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.

Been a member 4 over 10 years. Had yet again another lovellee meal last night. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice views. So lucky to have this joint around the corner. Highly recommended

Can't beat the location. On a beautiful sunny weekend in coogee you should know what to expect trying to find parking. Recommend leaving your car at home but during the week not as bad .The club has nice restaurant with a pretty good varied menu . Sitting on the balcony with a couple of cold drinks and some nice seafood on a nice day highly recommended.

4 friends from work enjoyed a delicious lunch. Our fish was beautifully cooked and accompanied by fresh crisp vegetables. Simple but expertly cooked and presented. Second time there and will make it a regular thing!

Food was great! My friend had the Thai fish curry and me the calamari. Both were fresh, tasty and generous portions.

We started with the sourdough garlic bread which had a good amount of garlic and butter.

I would go back and eat everything all over again!

Fantastic location overlooking the beach, good food inexpensive

Coogee Legion Club is one of my favourite little clubs in Sydney for many reasons.It is small, intimate, has really good prices, the food is just outstanding and it has a nice friendly vibe about it.I've eaten seafood, Pizza, cake, steak and the lot there and really love it.Great spot, highly recommended for a casual and fun meal. Good kids meals too!

Nice vslue for money food overlooking coogee beach. Recommend the $15 salmon

Update: After several very ordinary or patchy ok meals over years of patronage, had a spectacularly good surf'n turf here yesterday. Very good steak and possibly best chips on the planet. (Update. Fab home made chips are gone..) Cooked veg perfect. Friend's mash was excellent. At last the Legion has got a kitchen to be proud of. Bar service always exceptional and Irish floor manager super efficient. - very good all round.

Great view. Good prices for alcohol. Friendly staff. Worth a visit if in Coogee. Good entertainment on a Sunday afternoon.

A local club that obviously cares about making their members happy than squeezing every dollar out of the tourists. Reasonably priced (but not cheap) food and good selection of wines and beer. Non-club members are welcome. Veal Schnitzel was a standout and recommended.
