Fantastic free campground must be self contained, just a short walk to the shops and Coolah is a lovely quiet town with friendly locals

Chinese buffet on Saturday night. Nice atmosphere. We loved staying out the back in the campground. Great to contribute to the community.

This place is nothing like the reviews. Perhaps staff shortages?
Half a dozed Bain Marie with terrible MSG filled "Chinese" food was all we got. Hoping for a succulent Chinese meal and this was nothing but a terrible disappointment.
It's now a $25 all you can eat and I left with nothing but regret.

We've been wanting to come here for some time now based on word of mouth. So glad we did. The camp is along the fence, reverse in, of the golf and bowls clubs. Firm flattish parking and at the moment, lots and lots of green grass. The sign out the front says "Pets as well as Visitors" are welcome. Love that. People in the club are so friendly and welcoming, really lovely. Everyone we spoke to in town was the same. Excellent camp and most definitely RV Friendly. Thank you to everyone responsible in Coolah. Your definitely one of our favourites.

A nice little Chinese restaurant in the sports club, food was hot and tasty. The meals were decent size and reasonably priced. I recommend eating here if your in town.

A great free camp at the sporting club. A nice walking place around the golf course. Clean, comfortable friendly atmosphere.

It was a lovely place to be able to stay especially for free. There was water and electricity available and toilets and showers there aswell. Dog friendly too.

Enjoyed our stay. Site spacious and easily accessible. Had some drinks and lovely meal at Chinese restaurant. Staff very friendly and welcoming

Great little free camp area. Quiet yet close to main shops and pubs.

We took advantage of the free camp facilities with our caravan.Great spot right on the Golf Course.Pity the Restsurant was closed for rennovations!Better luck for us next time

Friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Great place to just chill out.

It is lovely that these small towns are so welcoming. Because of Covid, you do need to be self contained but this area is perfect. Right at the end of the main street. The supermarket is a 1 stop shop, bakery & coffee shop great. Thank you Coolah Sporting Club.

Small country town club, has friday night raffles, which was good.The manager almost freaked when some out of town people arrived, due to the covid restrictions, but she soon settled.The restaurant serves up a nice Chinese meal and it was quite tasty as expected for a country Chinese.

Very friendly to let us camp there one night for free.
