Even undergoing regular scheduled renovations the west course plays fast with great fairways tricky greens when the wind blows the dial is certainly turned up a couple of notches. Certainly worth a visit for anyone wanting to challenge their game. Even if you are more casual the staff are friendly welcoming and helpful to ensure even the the greenest of new comers leave better for the experience.

Enjoyed a wonderful game here in November 2025. It was my first time playing the West course, a great layout. For a flat course it's excellent with some interesting holes. Greens were in fabulous condition too. The clubhouse is huge with great views of the course. Can't wait to play here again.

We went with a group of 34 people
We pre booked our lunch. We were told the menu would include barramundi and rump steak for the main course. On arrival we were advised the menu had been changed.
It was spicy chicken. Sliced beef in gravy and fish in lemon sauce. We were told the fish was barramundi. The beef was tough and grisly. The fish resembled batta. Definitely not barramundi. The chicken was tough and tastless. All three courses were appalling. After a lovely morning cruise we were left deflated.
This was the worst club food ever experienced.

Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club offers two beautifully maintained courses with fast, true greens, spongy fairways, and well-placed bunkering. The practice and warm-up facilities are excellent, making it easy to get ready before a round. There's a small canteen for snacks, drinks, and coffee, and the pro shop is impressively stocked. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I didn't visit the clubhouse, so can't comment on that, but overall it's a top-notch golfing experience.
