After staying at Stanley Horizon Luxury Apartments, unfortunately the Country Club rooms come a very poor second. They are comfortable enough but have no flair/interest value.

Golf driving range: went on late April 2024. It's closed for at least the next 12 months for a major upgrade (I saw the nice plans). Otherwise, the pro shop is still open, and the staff were nice and sociable.

Excellent size rooms and good value restaurants make this an ideal destination when travelling. The golf course is currently only offering 9 holes but the obvious on course work in progress, will make this a wonderful 18 hole course. Good fun having the casino available as well. Make sure you sign up for membership, saves a few dollars in the bars and restaurants.

My partner and I stayed in the villas. They were very good and worth 5 stars. The service could use some work though. We only ate at the casino once down in the bistro. The food was awful, I am not sure how this bistro can have the nerve to sell frozen battered fish at high prices.My partners steak was also well below average. The food was the downside of the stay

Had lunch upstairs at the all you can eat smorgasbord. Good value for money as there is a reasonable range of food to choose from. Some things were a little dry unfortunately and also not really hot enough. Dessert bar was very nice with a good range of things to choose from. Table service for drinks as well.

Disappointing that the other restaurant has limited opening times. I've said it before and I'll say it again customer can make or break a visit and determine whether you want to go back. That's all I'll say about it.

Great service and lovely staff; food was excellent and our German tourist enjoyed the wildlife. Just a little ugly where all the development is going on at the moment.

Fantastic stay and had such a successful conference thanks to Daniel Booth who went above and beyond and without asking, assured with the entire night to make everything absolutely work. Thank you. You are a gem.

Been looking forward to my first time and it was excellent. Took my wife for her birthday and was joined by other relatives. The buffet was quite nice. Cocktails were good.

Everything is perfect. Except we were not told courtesy bus stops at 11pm, so had to grab a cab back to villas. Cab driver made it obvious he was annoyed about such a short trip.

You can see kangaroos from your window, so cute. Nice room and facilities. The only problem is the car park is really far away from the room. It's so inconvenient if you have more luggages.

Loved our stay here. Made use of all the sporting facilities with the driving range, squash court and tennis court. Enjoyed a cocktail in the sun and coffee in the cafe. The beds were really comfy too. It's a great spot, but you do need to get a bus or taxi into Launceston main town of you do wish to go in there

Stayed for a work conference for the week. Staff are friendly and attentative to your needs. Lovely setting surrounded by the scenic golf course. There is a casino for evening entertainment. Room well stocked with all the regular items. I will be back .

Our family (3 adults and 2 kids) stayed there for 3 nights and we absolutely loved everything! The rooms are clean and quiet, bed is super comfy, staff are very friendly. The kids loved the ducks, kangaroos,and mini golf area. The adults enjoyed the walk along the lake and peaceful environment. And it is so close to the town center. We will definitely come back again!

Treated ourselves to dinner at the Links buffet last night...what a disappointment. Not worth the $47.50 they charge. Food was pretty basic and as for desserts, it was basically scraps left. What happened to the days of refilling the dessert bar? Years ago the buffet was a great place to eat with great food and everyone loved the dessert bar that was always being refilled. It has gone down hill in our opinion. Very disappointing indeed. We would have been better off going to our local pub for parmy night!

Only ate here, was a last minute decision as it was getting late and we were staying at Hadspen.
Just ordered a chicken schnitzel with veggies and chips, but that was too hard for the grumpy lady behind the counter. Who just stuck to the traditional chips and salad OR veggies.
Food was average, service was average, place is average.
Better off to go and support a local pub.

Faultless experience on our first trip to Tassie.
The presentation and sheer grand scale of the resort and its grounds is just wonderful to experience! We were blown away by how opulent our room actually turned out to be. Brilliant value for money and we can't wait to stay there next time we visit Lonnie.

Lots of great amenities with the casino attached. Chocolate brownie at the eatery was a winner. Buffet breakfest at links was great value. We also did a trail ride on the horses while we stayed, amazing experience and the staff were so lovely and helpful made our first horse riding experience a treat.

What lovely service at the casino bar by Oliver tonight. He made us 2 lovely cocktails and they were fantastic. Wonderful vibe, the sweetest smile with a beautiful soul. Well done, I hope you are proud of your service.

Checking in and given room key, arrived at room only to realize it wasn't the room I had booked. Back down to reception only to be told I had been given an upgrade which was great but why couldn't they have said something at check in. Needed an extra bed put in the room as upgraded room only had one bed.

Beautiful place, looks dated online but when you arrive you see its charm. Ducks walking freely around near to ponds close to the club just adds to the experience.

Casino is small but wasn't crowded, we had a great time there.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Country Club Tasmania. Thank you to all the staff for their friendly hospitality. Accomodation was spacious and comfortable plus the multiple options for meals and activities around the grounds made it a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We had buffet breakfasts and even invited family living locally to enjoy the meal with us. Golf facilities were awesome and loved walking around the grounds before dinner. Thanks again. You guys did a superb job!

We loved staying there. Wallabies, ducks and so many wildlife around the premises. They come to the window where we stayed. Kids loved the duck pond, playground, pool and yard full of wild kangaroos. Strongly recommend families to stay there to experience it's beauty.

Went for lunch and the food was well presented and tasty except for the roast vegetables and seafood. I think they were cooked at 6am that morning as really overdone and should not have been served. The Country Club is indeed a much required visit for all our interstate visitors, so come on.. we don't want to chase people away with sub-standard food. Take care

I can't share my experience with Country Club in words. I really Enjoyed my short stay with them. The rooms and very tidy and spacious. Staffs are very professional. The hotel has an amazing view. I will definitely choose country club for my next visit too ??'?

What a wonderful experience. Accommodation, staff and dining first rate. Excellent location to explore Launceston and surrounding areas

Good accommodation and service with eateries and casino. A bit pricey. Went for a charity function the food was very ordinary and stage lighting was fixed, so couldn't see the band or singer as they were in the shadows.

Loved our meal. Great experience. Only downside is we have a big family so would have loved the option to sit together. We had to split our tables up and we were seated in separate parts of the restaurant to eat! But otherwise we enjoyed our time out!

Matt at reception was fantastic during our check-in. Rooms were absolutely clean and comfortable. Easy access to golf course was a great bonus. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Went there for a quick cheap meal during covid times.. The atmosphere was great.. The food was great. Service friendly and quick..I will go back again.. The fountain outside at night is cool

Hotel was surprisingly very clean, and well maintained if dated. Grounds were a delight to wake up to in the morning.
Facilities were nice.
Seafood buffet was fresh, well made and delicious, with plenty of options. Would definitely go again.
Mila our server for dinner and breakfast was an absolute delight, and was a nice change to have genuine service. Patrick helped unflinchingly with an unusual drinks order. Well done.
Covid safety was observed without being intrusive.
Would happily come back again.

Golf view suite rooms are so enchanting and with breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Terrace restaurant is amazing with excellent selection and great service. This is my favourite place to stay in Tasmania. Will visit again soon.
