Great club for a feed, although food and drinks are getting expensive like most clubs. 6 hole gold course is a great little fun course to play and the best view you will ever have playing golf. $35 per person with a cart pretty good.

Great little Country Club with great views of the beach & the golf course food is good but not a lot of gluten free options at the bistro but there is a Chinese restaurant down stairs which is love beers are cool service is great around a nice place to go for lunch or to relax for a while

The roast dinner is superb. We had the pork. Very generous servings and the the crackling superb. Great serve of vegetables. Highly recommend the carvery..

It's OK. Food is average, not terrible, not amazing but they do decent basics like roasts and parmigiana etc. I usually get a roast as there's not much else for gluten free options, and it's cost effective with gf 3 kids as I can split 2 roasts between the 3 of them. The paying system with cutlery distribution and roast line up is confusing but otherwise it's all pretty normal for a club, I always feel welcome, pool room has nice atmosphere.

We stopped in for dinner & a cool drink.

Wow how lucky this place is to have John working for them. Truly an Aussie treasure.

I was having trouble tracking down mementos from the town and John went above and beyond to get me some. He served us drinks for a few hours and was the nicest fellow. Give the man a raise!

This club was great, meals are huge and great value for money.
Golf Coarse has amazing views and is also great value. Lawn bowls was also fun as well.

We had Roast of the day which was Pork and Pork belly..

The roast pork was a very generous serving with a v large slab of crackling ,the meat was very moist and tender ,the vegetables were what you would expect but a very well priced and huge meal .
Her indoors had the pork belly which she said was a bit bland and tasteless..

Staff were very friendly and helpful..

We had a dinner here.
It's a great country vibe. Locals enjoy a game of footy on the big screen to the holiday makers (mostly families with young kids) mix.

This was rather disappointing. 1hr wait in a queue to order a meal then charged a holiday surcharge for the pleasure. There were plenty of staff, so it can only be how it was managed...

Food from Barney's Bistro was definitely good value. The burgers & schnitzels are huge,!

Honestly, we weren't expecting much, at the Chinese restaurant in a bowling club in a tiny surfing village on the north coast, but we were very pleasantly surprised.
Genuine house-made spring rolls, great crispy pieces of battered pork in the sweet'n'sour (our guilty pleasure), flavoursome steak in the schezuan. It was all great!
Way better than a lot if not most of the Sydney Chinese restaurants we've experienced.
Friendly staff, actually interested in where we're from, great budget wine list.
What's not to rave about.

Guy at front counter was nice but wouldn't let us in as one person was 18 and no one was over 25 to let them in, couldn't even go in for takeaway as had to be all 18 or a "family". For not much options in the town at least should be let in for takeaway, had to walk into the bottle shop across the road for some pizza. Maybe recommend even letting people in for takeaway

Make sure you have your ID on you or the Service NSW app because you need to check in at the front as this is also a [---] room/pub/TAB/betting/alcohol store.
Vibe is very relaxed and welcoming of the whole community. The dining hall is massive. Grab a printed menu from the food ordering window then find a table. When you know what you want, go up and pay and you will be given a buzzer - which will buzz when your food is ready.
Given the mix of pub, TAB and [---] room, there was security at the front door and also near the bar where you order drinks.
Expect to see families with kids, as well as locals having a beer here.
Food is big and hearty and what you would expect from a pub. The lamb shank was delicious and a good portion, but the chips with the fish and chips were undercooked which was a shame.
Expect a decent choice of beers and pub food but don't expect top notch service or an exclusive atmosphere. It's great to see a beach place stick to its casual roots and welcome all.

What a fantastic location! Terrific views over beach & coast-side golf course from bistro, which has generously-sized great value meals. Couldn't believe that we had it all to ourselves for lunch, but understand it gets very popular of an evening.

Food was mediocre, vibe is non existent and they prioritise the comfort of smokers. It's a pity since there are so little options in the area. But just because you may have a captive market does not mean you should not try.

Stopped by for lunch at the bistro. Staff were very welcoming, nice view and food was lovely! Came out super fast, fresh and large servings!

As the only place open on a public holiday, the Country Club took the influx of people in their stride. The food had large, delicious portions and came out relatively quick. Beer was cold and the people warm and friendly

Lovely food, though don't bother coming if you have small children who act like - small children.
Otherwise not only will they not tolerate this, they will announce it over the loud speaker telling you to keep your children sitting down next to you at all times.....when you're the only family with children in the room.
Loved all the people in the room starring at us.
We left straight away filled with embarrassment. Won't be back here again

Great challenging 6 hole golf course. Small greens and difficult approach shots. Well worth it if you're in town. Situated right by the ocean so if there's a breeze it makes some shots incredibly hard to judge. Well maintained.

A lovely clean drop off Resch's can be had at this establishment. Also, a succulent Chinese meal. Friendly staff. Disabled access. In the centre of town.

Great little club in a quiet little town. Quite a good variety of meals and beverages. Friendly and helpful staff.

Delicious lamb shank meal from the carvery was excellent value for money. However other members of our group were not completely satisfied with the quality of their meals, one receiving more crackling than actual pork roast.

Went to the Bistro for dinner on a Thursday night. Good food selection, staff were very nice at the bar. Seems like the place to be on a Thursday night, ended up doing the Trivia.

We travel about an hour once a month to go to the Chinese Restaurant..the food is exceptional. Everything is fresh, gluten free is catered for. Fast service and friendly staff. We havenever been disappointed.

The club is in a prime position and Crescent Head is a super place to visit. The meals were OK but no air conditioning in the clubs main guests areas, really. Only the poker machine rooms have air conditioning. The summers up at Crescent Head are hot and humid, maybe air conditioning in all areas would go a long way.
