This place is very well maintained and ideal for family gatherings. The food quality is excellent, though it might be a bit pricey for non-members. On Mondays and Tuesdays, when most restaurants and takeout places are closed, this spot might be the only option in the area. Even if other places were open, I would still recommend this one.

Second time in a row the steak is well done not medium rare.
Rest of the menu the kids and family enjoyed. When you feel like a good steak, and are paying premium price not club price you really need to get it right. Not paying between $30-40+ for steak that is 2 levels above what you ordered. To top it off it was not a premium supplier or was badly cooked as they have been toughish on both visits.
Disappointed at my local.

Incredible and mind blowing steak sandwich. The most tender I've ever eaten. Great vibe and enough room for everyone so it doesn't feel packed. Also great staff here who are always easy to deal with.

Was driving through on a Friday afternoon and saw bowls being played out on the lawns. Signed in with photo ID, reception staff excellent, accommodating and amicable. Wow what a place this is! Had a couple of drinks although the bloke serving us as Pomms wasn't to hospitable at first he was a bit more friendly and receptive to us by the time we left. Didn't let that bother us too much just enjoyed to facilities and watching the members playing their bowls.
Lovely few hours spent!

Happy Hour 4 till 6pm.
Before 6pm bought a few schooners of standard beer @ $7.80 each.
Driving out of car park we noticed the sign at the exit : $5.50 per schooner during Happy Hour???

Everything we ordered were delicious and delivered hot to the table. The place gets busy but lots of room to enjoy a drink before the meal arrives. Smaller holiday menu selection but there is something to suit everyone. Always walk out with a full belly and a smile!

Dinner with a group of friends on Thursday night. Club facilities & dining room are excellent. My wife & I had the Satay Prawns with rice & Prawn Risotto, great tasty dishes. Our friends equally enjoyed their meals. Friendly staff & great service. Well done to the crew ??'???'???'?

I ordered the sirloin steak, salt and pepper squid and risotto. The risotto was flavourful, yet extreamly oily. The steak, ordered rare, came medium rare (expected), was flavourful and the peppercorn sauce was tasty, and well proportioned. The steak was a little cold, and lacked moisture. The salad on the side could be greatly improved. The salt and pepper squid was underwhelming and not worth the price. It lacked moisture and undercooked. Generally good atmosphere, and polite staff. 3/5.

Worth 10 stars. We had our mum's farewell wake there. Professional and friendly staff. Great food choices, presentation and tasting. Plenty of parking. So helpful in planning. Also, children play area. Also fantastic atmosphere. A great team and a terrific place.

Tried the new cafe at the bowlo and opted for the Saturday special burger for lunch. The meals were a good size, the buns soft and the chips tasty. Can't complain about the lunch, haven't had the opportunity for dinner as yet. There's a limited menu but this is apparently expanding to a full menu as the cafe establishes. The team serving were friendly and helpful. We always enjoy stopping in for a meal here when we are staying local ??'??

Sunday dinner. The venue wasn't full but it took 2 hours for our food to arrive. The roast of the day arrived cold with a mix of over and under cooked veges. The green fish curry was so spicy that it was barely edible. The burgers were average. The pizzas all arrived in 20 mins and were fabulous. But that meant half the group had finished eating, more than an hour before the rest started. One of our party cancelled her order and got a refund. Such a shame. We were grateful we weren't there with elderly family and young children like many of the tables.

Very nice Chinese meal. Good selection of other menu choices also. Service very good and very nice atmosphere on a busy evening

Kids area is amazing. Bar drinks reasonable price. Bistro limited on a Monday. Chinese is closed Monday. But we will go back for dinner another night that's not Monday soon

Our family visited while on holiday from Sydney, and found the whole experience very pleasant.
Great atmosphere and decor.
The menu had plenty of options, was good quality and serving sizes very generous, without the expense.
Also having your meal served to the table instead of waiting for the 'buzzer' was an unexpected pleasantry. We will most certainly visit again!
Addit.....my husband left his phone there, and when we picked it up the following day they had taken the trouble to charge it for him!

Had lunch here. Went for the Pizza option from Prince Eddies. Cannot recall having better pizzas. Choices were Meat Lovers and Chicken & Mushroom. Toppings and cheese were both in plentiful supply. The Pizza size would serve 2 so we had plenty uneaten, but they happily provided a box to take leftovers home, which were just as yummy reheated

Amazing food and drinks, beautiful outdoor areas big enough for 100 people. Big play area for kids. Excellent teachings for barefoot bowls, the staff really care about the sport and are very welcoming to guest's. Would rate this place 10/10.

I didn't end up eating
Last night I had 'pad Thai'. It didn't have any scrambled eggs, spring onions, bean sprouts, the stuff that always goes in pad thai. Noodles, chicken, carrot, massive pieces of yellow onion and a tiny sprinkle of peanuts ? It was actually gross had one bite and ended up just not eating.
Wouldn't feed it to my cat.
I've never not eaten a meal I've been served, this was the first .I was one of the later diners sat directly opposite the ordering desk black and red hair.

A fantastic coastal bowling club. Very good local beer prices; VB, Carlton, Tooheys, Reschs etc all $4 in happy hour. A good bistro with your standard pub choices.

Great local Bowling Club. The regular trivia nights are great, with seafood and meat raffles that bring a great turnout

But the vibe here is nice, chill, the food was fast, fresh delicious. Staff are lovely. Michael, are you okay?

Great Family Venue. I'm a Non Drinker. I was thrilled the Bar Served a 0.0 Alcohol Beer. I didn't order a Mocktail, my usual Choice is a "Virgin Mary" (Bloody Mary without the Vodka)

Great place for all the family. The staff were very friendly the food was lovely and the atmosphere around the whole place was very friendly. We had a great evening here with family and would highly recommend it, we used the shuttle bus between the bowling club and the Holiday Haven Camping and Caravan site. This is a great service so go on get down there and try it yourself.

It's lucky the only club in town is a good one. They don't have to put in an effort, but they definitely do.

Despite a very busy Friday night, service was efficient and courteous. Had the steak, cooked to my request, very fine. Good selection of beers, interesting selection of locals around the pool table.

Culburra Bowling Club has a fantastic atmosphere, the team are friendly, approachable & immediately put you at ease. The restaurant delivers quality, delicious food even now during COVID & during renovations with limited facilities. I cannot wait to return.

Very long line up for the bistro (even with a booking) but the 11 of us thoroughly enjoyed our foods & drinks eventually.

If I had the option to give 0 stars I would. After signing in then having two older looking men look at me in the eye and tell me that what I was wearing was "provocative" was probably one of the worst experiences (as a young 19 year old girl). Then having the blame put on me when I went to management about this and basically being completely ignored about my complaints to have Phil (manager) tell me "do your best". Would not recommend this as a place for young people. (was also never informed about any dress resections until after I signed in.). Place is very outdated - would 100% recommend Club Callala instead. Wore the same outfit and was welcomed with open arms!

Were on holiday at Culburra Beach and this is our second visit for dinner. Quick friendly service, large servings and great food. The chicken parmigiana is enormous and perfectly cooked. My man-sized son had the beef burger twice and loved it. Sweet and sour pork was great as was the Mongolian beef, special fried rice ridiculously large and tasty. On the previous visit I had the barramundi and it was good too. They can get very busy during holiday periods, bookings recommended.

We went here with a group of 4, and every person got there food served with intervals of 20 mins of each other almost an hour after we ordered it all together. The explanation for it was that they where running behind on the Chinese food... none of which we ordered.One of our group ordered a margarita cocktail which is a fairly simple recipe, it tasted like sea water, thats how salty it was, when I went to the bar to explain and ask for a replacement drink I was directed to the manager, when I explained it to him he said that thats how it should taste and waived a bar recipe and that we were not getting a replacement because someone had taken a sip of it. I told him we couldnt have known it tasted like sea water unless we sipped it; i said this was bad service, to which he replied you dont have to come here.

Classic bowls club in a good location close to town - they picked us up and dropped us off. Barefoot bowls team was super friendly, kids had a great time. Food is typical pub/club food, service was pretty fast even though busy. Great specials on schooners for members, and it's easy enough to become one.
