coffee at Aqua is a bit ordinary and cakes are as pricy at other places. Staff's attitude is somewhat lukewarm too? staff at front reception is very friendly though. Ambience is good overall.

Thoughts before tasting the food: The feel of the whole building was nice and fancy with a lot of beautiful decor inside. There were not many dietary options but we managed to find some food from 'the battery house'. The underground parking was fine and we we're able to find a park quite easily. They played music which was nice. It is not very kid friendly because of all the gambling and alcohol. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive, it was a Monday night but quite busy so we were happy to get a table and food relatively quickly.

What we ordered: We ordered the eye fillet steak with a salad and chips. We also got baby pork ribs with chips and slaw. For drinks we got a ginger beer and a pale ale beer.

Thoughts after tasting the food: The eye fillet was cooked exactly how we ordered and it was perfect for us, the chips were nice, crispy and warm with a bit of red spice dusting on them, the salad was really nice and so was the salad dressing. The baby pork ribs were nothing special but still nice. The slaw was crunchy and a nice mix with the baby pork ribs. We also got tomato sauce to go with the steak and chips. The drinks were also very nice with the food. Altogether the food, experience and feel of the RSL was nice and I give it a 4 / 5.

The fine dining experience was average and the prices were hidden for extras, id dodge this area of the club for food.Basically paid a lot for little.I returned again to try the food in the Bistro and had a good look around. Food is good the building is nice.I returned again at Easter 2024 for lunch ordered a regular roast lamb dinner with gravy and mint .The regular consisted of two cuts of Lamb on a small plate ,looking at it you would have thought it was a large kids meal at over $20 the meat was delicious and tender so it was really good but I walked away feeling hungry on a 20 dollar meal which is wrong .It's disappointing to see this type of stuff happening to meals across our country where at least you would think you can get a satisfying feed .thumbs down on this one this time im afraid .

A meal with the family at a really lovely Flames restaurant. My steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were amazing.

First time dinning at Flame at Dee Why RSL was absolutely stunning and amazing food highly recommend trying here.
Staff was very helpful had liv serve us and she was excellent helped select wines to pair with the seafood platter asked how our day was which was nice and I feel waiters don't often ask questions like that anymore.
Seafood platter was fresh and the oysters were huge and very creamy delicious oysters. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Fish was just breaking away and melt in your mouth. Cheese garlic bread to start was very nice. Highly recommend trying here

Dinner with kids night before combined Father's Day and daughter's (and my mother - now passed) birthday. Seafood, chicken, beef and salt 'n pepper calamari with drinks!

If you are looking for a place to watch the Women's World Cup, their screen is incredible and clear from many spots in the venue. The drink selection is good, and the nachos is yummy, but they could tone down the cheese/sour cream and add more guacamole (my two cents' worth). The parking is good, and an easy place to bring the kids. We will be back!

We enjoyed the Courtyard high tea and we were all blown away by the fabulous service from the well trained staff, particularly Jake and Emily, who served us. The food was fantastic and so generous.
Stayed on and watched the footy at the sports bar. What an amazing club- I joined on the spot!!

A little confusing with taking glassware/crockery upstairs to an event. Was told I needed to put things in takeaway containers, while others happily dined with their crockery ???

Best RSL I have ever been to. So many different places to sit and relax. The bistro was amazing with so many different varieties of dishes to choose from. The local community of Dee Why are very lucky to have such an amazing place to call their own.

Great place to have dinner when everyone has different tastes, it's not the ultimate dining experience as everyone goes and orders and picks up their food separately but this is to be expected. There is Asian, pizza, baked dinner and a fancy restraunt where you can sit away from everyone.

There is a huge fish tank which is very cool! I recommend becoming a member as you get discounts

The best sports bar on the Northern Beaches. It's large and open. And the bar area has about 30 TV screens, one exceptional large big screen TV. A great spot to watch your favourite sport. The sports bar has an excellent bistro - it's a lot better than the 'bar food' that you'll pick up at other venues. We dined in the bistro area, and it's also good. Customer service is excellent and friendly. The whole facility is clean. What a great place to come and spend a few hours relaxing.

A great place to come for a drink and something to eat the newly renovated bar area does great pizza or otherwise a roast mid week is always great

One of the most beautiful RSLs I've ever been to. It felt like a hotel. The interior was well designed with lots of space and had separate function rooms, a number of restaurants, bars, live music, etc
Gambling and betting was separated from the lounges and restaurants so maintained a healthy balances between family and adult areas etc.

Gorgeous looking club! We ate in the Battery House which was a lovely outdoor area but had so many different areas to sit (inside and outside) Great food and cool vintage pieces on display.

The renovations are excellent. Variety in seating options for all occasions in a relaxed space. Ranging from lounges to casual eatery booths to high tables to outdoor seating. Food was delivered quickly, tasted great. Good size bar area so there is no waiting.

Went there for Singapore Chilli Crab. Apparently the crab arrived this morning but really DISAPPOINTED. The best way to discribe the crab is malnutrition/starved. Probably only 20% of meat.

Brought it to the attention of the supervisor. Although Harry do emphatise but there were no offer of a replacement or credit for the bad meal. He did however agreed with our suggestion to have our sentiments and experience shared online.

So those who are thinking of trying it , DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The whole family are really enjoying the new modern look and feel of courtyard and flame. The food in both venues has been great and the live music really sets a great atmosphere. The cocktails in courtyard are fantastic. With they did a cocktail happy hour or $10 cocktail of the month though.

This is an absolutely incredible RSL. Multiple restaurants including a great bistro with cheap, traditional Sunday roast-style meals and an amazing new extension with plenty of casual seating for two and lounge areas for groups. The interior design of the extension is amazing. Beautiful gas fireplaces. Huge floor to ceiling arched windows. Gorgeous floor tiling. Central courtyard area, big beautiful bar, and lots of little nooks for quiet chats & casual meals. So many gorgeous design elements, including a library of books, thoughtful gold ornaments and trinkets everywhere, and lush green potted plants. The new section is easily one of the most beautiful and contemporary dining and bar spaces I've seen on the northern beaches. Absolutely worth a try. Make sure you walk around on arrival to see everything this RSL has to offer before choosing which of several restaurants to dine in. Great food, great service and an opportunity to support our veterans and their families, as they so deserve. Well done, Dee Why RSL! 5 stars!

The new area "The Courtyard" is simply stunning. Touch of the Mediterranean by the Northern Beaches. Pizza ? made in real pizza oven by a trained pizza chef.
We'll be back for more.

Good food in the Battery House and the Bistro / Tastes of Asia. Good selection of drinks and cocktail in Battery House. The gaming area is big with enty of selection, free hot drinks and soft drinks whilst playing and and very reasonably priced food menu. Top marks all round.

Pretty nice place for having fun with friends where we can do gambling too, loved the snooker pool to play in a really cheap cost.Overall good to go for fun and drinks

Travelled down from the central coast in this bad weather to visit my relatives and was greeted with respect the moment I entered. The staff who work in battery house were amazing (especially Ryan, one of the safety officers), they answered all my questions and showed me what was on the menu. Highly recommend the buddha bowl. Overall great friendly staff, would definitely come again!

Absolutely stunning facility, the battery house has delicious food, including the Parmi and Burgers, definitely have to try the wings! Such lovely staff, the Tall, broad and charming security guard offered great customer service and he was very Friendly/helpful. Great job team! Will be back :))

No food at battery bar available weekdays.. have to goto cafe open but $40 for a steak.. seriously.$20 for a club SandwichLast time I come here for lunch.Open the restaurants!!! Food is the heart of any good club.I'm sure that you could open battery bar for food every day...
