Deniliquin RSL Club - Clubs and Pubs in Deniliquin New South Wales

The club and its atmosphere are lovely; however, we ordered food one night with fewer than 30 people in the entire venue, only about 10 ordering food. We waited over an hour for all our meals to be completed. We waited 20 minutes for a steak, and for a child's chips, it was nearly 50 minutes. When I approached to ask about meal times, the server told me to "sit and wait; it will be ready when I bring it," then scoffed at me. Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant experience; however, since that visit, the service has been much more prompt, but the meal quality is below average. I would say the meals are similar in quality to those in a retirement home - mostly cold and bland.

Super friendly staff, welcomed and assisted delightfully at the front desk, main bar and by Susan in the bistro who gave us great recommendations which we're so glad we followed. If your travels take you nearby DeniRSL is a real oasis. Thank you so much for your welcoming hospitality and excellent lunch!

Should have read the reviews before going. Visiting Town 21st Jan with elderly neighbour. We both had the Roast - worst meal I've ever had. Meal arrived cold, beans were still frozen in the middle. Meat was old and tough, potatoes were boiled, pumpkin barely blanched and was undercooked. When I spoke to the woman at the till she immediately became passive aggressive and grabbed the meal from me hand and took it to the kitchen. Came back 4-5 mins later no different. My friends meal was also inedible so we left throughly disappointed. Maybe it was just that meal but it doesn't matter we won't be back. A charity kitchen would have prepared better quality and flavour.

We went for dinner tonight, I ordered a crispy chicken burger and my wife.got an Thai beef salad, which she enjoyed. But mine was very disappointing. The salad and chips where good, but the crispy chicken burger was not nice it wasn't crispy at all, tasted of oil and wasn't nice to eat,my advice to anyone reading this, don't order it, waste of money.
