Door staff were helpful and made you feel welcome. We arrived late and ate already, so I am unable to make comments about the food. Plenty of room in the dinning area, bistro area was sizable as well. There is also a sports bar if thats your thing. Great place top have put with friends

It was my first time to visit Dooley's in Lidcombe and it did not disappoint. We signed up and the gentleman was very helpful and friendly.

The Vietnamese restaurant had some good selection in the menu. The food was good that we had to go back again the following day with friends!

The Bistro also had some nice selections of cake.

There are other places we wanted to try, so we can't wait to go back.

Lidcombe Dooley's used to be a great place to visit. Unfortunately, it's just not the same place it used to be. Bistro prices are higher than average. Staff are like robots, you don't get service with a smile.

This review is strictly for bailey's bar. I've ordered food twice from bailey's bar and both times it was terrible.

First time, I ordered nachos - everything tasted store bought and artificial. I was starving and I couldn't (*didn't want to) finish it.

Second time, I ordered the 'foot long' German hotdog - foot long it was not! Tasty it was not! Again everything tasted awful. The sauerkraut had the texture and flavour like it came out a can that's been sitting in the fridge for a few months. The sausage was underwhelming and had no snappiness to it. Eating it made me feel sad. I've honestly had better sausage at bunnings.

The rest of the venue is good. The service is nice, the place is always clean and the kids play area is family friendly. The food at Vincent's and the bistro are worth trying.
Just stay away from bailey's bar.

Security a bit over the top. Not very friendly staff. Very uninviting.
The restuarant had no service . No atmosphere.
The sports bar a lot better with music and more people sitting around.
Meals are quite expensive but ok standard .

Nice food considering how busy the club is; many entertainment options available. Got bbq chicken pizza, prawn linguine, chips, etc. Nice venue overall.

Seems like a friendly suburban club. Nice staff and beautifully furnished / appointed. We ate in the more upmarket restaurant which was really nice and not that expensive when compared to comparable restaurants. We did check out the bistro afterwards and it seemed to have an extensive menu at very reasonable prices (maybe next time). I joined the Club with a 5 year membership costing only $10. This cost was more than recovered by the member discount in the restaurant.

Service was good but wouldn't recommend eating at the Sports Bar. The pizzas were decent. Pepperoni & supreme. Loaded fries were cold. Korean chicken was cold, old, dry, tough. Nothing like korean chicken. Nachos weren't great either.

Hi, I went in for dinner last Friday 18/2/2023 with my two friends. They were excited to try the month of February Seafood special in the Bistro up stairs. I ordered a chicken caesar salad, my two friends order a SEAFOOD PLATTER FOR TWO = $78. We got so disappointed, this is our first disappointment in this club on food and false advertisement

The standards of the club has dropped drastically. Waited almost an hour for food at Lloyd's. Sat at a table that hadn't been cleared. The suited fellow cleared a small portion, and we waited an hour, and asked two different waiters to have the table cleared. We got to the Bistro at 1920hrs, and the table was finally cleared at 2019hrs, so we can proceed to eat our food. The photos shows that we had moved the previous plates/cups to the end of the table, and we had wiped our end down with disinfectant wipes that we had brought along with us. What happened to the floor managers who would walk around and ask if everyone was good/happy?

19.9.22 - Ordered fettuccine boscaiola and T-bone steak.
Fettuccine was undercooked raw, the chicken tasted like it had been microwaved, and the T-bone tasted like it had been frozen for 9 months and cooked unthawed.

Called manager and was told sorry I will pass onto other manager and hopefully you have better experience next time. I said I called you because I would rather resolve the issue than put up a negative review, he said that is your proactive and we encourage all reviews.

So after $70+ we are told basically we don't care you have 2 x 90% uneaten meals that are uneatable.

This club used used to have higher standards and better management, but the food that was dished last night may of look ok but I would not feed it to a dog.

Casino, casino, casino.
It might be a "Catholic Club" by name but by all other accounts it's a good sized casino. No table games of the traditional sense either.
Did I enjoy my time at this casino however...F*ck yeah I did! The presentation was lovely, the bar staff were tops and it was very clean and tidy.
Got some good wins as well and I was keen to stay the night but sadly work intrudes and I had to be responsible.
Anyway it's another of these "clubs" that are casinos!

Two handy tips - become a member, it's cheap and you'll instantly gain access to discounted food and beverages. Tip 2, if you're planing on eating in the bistro here, when you order you'll be asked which table that you're sitting at - so, before you order, secure your table, remember the table number, then order. We ordered the Atlantic salmon and a steak - both meals were great. And a person, from the kitchen, delivered the meals to our table. This club has been clean every time that we've visited. The club is well known for its cheaper meals, cafe, friendly atmosphere and gambling facilities- in fact, an area not far from the front foyer has been recently converted to a sports bar with gambling machines and an extremely large TV - it's a punter's paradise. Staff have always been friendly at this club. A sign at the club today says that the current bistro area is about to be upgraded, and the bistro will be moved temporarily upstairs. The facility is wheelchair friendly. The club is located in a handy position - opposite the train station and taxi rank - the bus stops are listed one block away. There's plenty of on-site car parking spots here.

Server at the counter was friendly. Pizza, garlic bread and fish were all very oily, so food should definitely be reviewed. The kids playground is a great addition. There was a long line to serve drinks, they had two people behind the bar but only one was serving drinks, the other person seemed to be cleaning or just observing. Club could definitely be more efficient on a Saturday night.

A good club to visit, some nice comfortable chairs would be nice. Staff are friendly drinks were reasonably priced. Club gets busy on weekend evenings noisy in public areas birthday partys etc. I'd suggest avoiding in busy times, If you don't like this.

Worst club in Sydney possibly in whole of Australia, rude and unprofessional securities who has no idea how to approach people, they are there for crowd control not to control people's movement. The club needs to address this as they will push people away. Food wise don't get me started downs stairs " Bristol " more like food court cold food under cook food no flavour no care, over priced poor quality I can keep going until next year but don't want to waste my time and money there ever again.

Very nice, good food, good entertainment, good setup, very clean, lots of parking, family friendly, good variety of food like vietnamese Chinese western etc.
Went there again on 13/03/22. It has changed quite a bit from inside. It looks they have reduced the entertainment area, sitting area but increased the poker machines. It is not a good thing. They are trying to earn more revenue through gambling. It is bad for the community.

Been returning to this restaurant before it moved into the club. Serves THE best ever Vietnamese fried pork chop!! Their quality, quantity and consistency is top notch. Pair the succulent juicy tender pork chop with noodles or rice with some spring roll for a filling heavenly experience.

Interior has been renovated and is warm and gorgeous. Ambiance is pleasant and the food is great.

There's a family dining area for little ones, a lounge area with live music, and quieter dining area (just a bit) away from the live music.

Overall, highly recommend coming down. It's warm, charming and the food was very lovely.

If you have a large group, do yourself a favor and make a reservation.

Parking : There is a multi level covered parking lot however, maneuvering inside is quite tight. Be patient.

The rare beef rice noodles, though the taste was fine, however the portion was small. The spring roll was much better. The prices were reasonable otherwise it was not worth a visit.

This is a good place to meet up with friends. Easy to get to by train, easy to get there by car with plenty of parking.It has a wide range of food and beverage choices. Dooley is a great club.

As a Professional Face Painter in Sydney, I have painted children here for private parties in the past! Dooley's been one of my favourite local clubs.Fantastic food/ beverages, and fantastic for adults & children.Love the atmosphere here and the social activities have been amazing here. Really great experience at Dooley's today, very spacious and nice spaced out seating, we dined at the bistro area and they have a dedicated kids play area. The food was generously portioned and tasted great and great value. The staff were also very friendly and told us about free pizza promotion as well. Overall great experience, great food and friendly staff!!

Staff are friendly and always assist you with respect. Food is ok.. I'd say 7 out of 10. I chose five stars because of the staffs performances and how helpful and well detailed that they are.

Large club. Bistro has moderately good food. Prefer to eat at the Vietnamese restaurant which offers great selection of dishes at friendly prices.

Great location being minutes walk from Lidcombe train station.
