Stayed at Reflection van park 24 th July so thought we'd support the club for meal and drinks,
Nice club but Hubby ordered a chicken schnitzel and it was absolutely disgusting, processed paddies you get from woollies with chips no salad nothing at all $18 what a disappointment

We stayed one night in one of the hotel style rooms. It was spacious and clean. Checking in and out was very easy. Staff were great. We had a great Chinese meal in the club. Would highly recommend and would go again.

Super friendly staff, great prices and great food,-Chinese. Fantastic bar prices and lots of meat raffles. A favourite with the locals. High recommended.

Bowling Club cabins were clean and roomy. Hot shower and decent sized kitchen and undercover deck. I wish there was more to choose from with regards to food as the Chinese was horrible and I was burping the pizza up for 3 days.

Nice meals, good choice, good price. We stayed in Evans Head for 5 nights. We visited the bowls club on the last night unfortunately. We would have dined there more often if we had visited earlier.

Waited an hour for 4 pizzas and went and asked about them. Order was still sitting on counter and hadn't been started. Ordered was forgotten. Not a very busy night. No excuse. 5 hungry children waiting. Never again, will go somewhere else. Total waiting time when pizzas finally arrived was 95 minutes. Quicker to dial a pizza in ballina/ Lismore and go pick-up.

I hate having to complain about companies but I really wish you could select less than 1 star... My family of 5 went there for lunch today. All I can say is it is by far THE WORST meal I have ever eaten, seen or been served. Little did we know that you couldn't buy normal "pub meals" - so we settled for the "Australian meals" on the Chinese restaurant menu. My partner got a "Large" chicken schnitzel meal which came out the size of my palm & was disgusting, processed chicken!!! Served with approximately 20 overcooked, cold chips... My little kids (1, 2 & 4) got chicken nuggets which weren't even cooked properly. There was a particular staff member that was very rude to myself and 3 small children and made it an even worse experience for us by telling me "well if you don't like it then......" - attitude was gross considering the absolutely disgusting meal we had just experienced.. Long story short - my young family sadly will not be back..

Quiet little club that has wonderful Chinese food. Prices are very reasonable. Great for functions.

Went for dinner last night, were unable to order pizza as the kitchen was so far behind with orders, so had to order from the Chinese bistro, never had such a disappointing meal in my life. The chicken schnitzels were nothing more than processed patties you can buy from Coles, the chips were cold, and the salad was additional cost for some shredded iceberg and a couple of pieces of tomato and cucumber. The seafood platter was more batter than seafood, definitely not worth the $28 price tag. Our group will not be back

Visited over Easter weekend. Loved the inflatables for the kids, the vibe, the drinks and the dj was great. Food though was hugely overpriced. Large Chicken Snitzel and chips $24 came in a small cardboard tray about 2x size of my phone. Small serving of chips and two palm size pieces of chicken. Mongolian Lamb $24 came in a rectangular takeaway Chinese container. We should have eaten at home. Very expensive.

For the price the food was superb reminded me of when I was a kid you just don't get that taste very much.the cabinets also very good can't wait to get back.we are from nelson bay.

I cannot beleive that this club only serve full cream milk with coffee or cappuccino. So many people have allergies these day, and they dont have other milk. Poor effort.

My wife and I stayed there recently and it was very pleasant. The club is very welcoming with very friendly and efficient staff. The meals in the Chinese restaurant were amazingly delicious. Very busy and quick service. We stayed in one The motel style rooms very clean and comfortable. Most definitely coming back.

I ordered from the Chinese restaurant. Beef was extremely stringy and tough. Fried rice was sad. Only had a few dried up shrimp(they looked like the ones in a can)a bit of ham,again dry,and peas. Nothing else,no egg,no flavour! For over $10 for fried rice I expected something better

Everything was beautiful, only fault was the $8.90 large rice was very small for the price.

Great cabins very clean and nice n quiet area , close to the beach and surf club

Stayed in the motel room which was spotless & comfortable & had drinks & an amazing meal staff were very friendly ,will definately be back

Tired old decor and Chinese food is probably the same they were serving in the eighties. If you want something better than average look elsewhere.

I never complain about our local services however I am disgusted at the cook Sue (Bowling Club) tonight who was not only argumentaive tonight to my friend, made an 11 year old girl cry, who refused to get orders right as we should just basically shut up and enjoy the food, who decided that someone was finished and started cleaning a table while someone still ate, who left people sitting for over an hour for their order, who served entrees after the mains, who served the main then fried rice an hour apart. If you said anything to her she would argue with the person for saying something, last week she even whacked someone for disagreeing with her. I am disgusted at Sues behaviour and if you are over work or exhausted maybe its time to retire and kick up your heels obviously as the behaviour is just causing a whole heap of disgruntled customers. I know no one from our large group will be back in a hurry.

Does not respect people with exemption from mask wearing.

Was told no need to do covid sign in or show green tick but was not welcomed due to not wearing face mask after telling them I had an exemption which should have been enough but staff kept asking to the point was told everyone will look at you for not having one on and you only need to wear it to the table that's it. People that can't wear one should not be put down it's hard enough to get the confidence to just leave the house.

Only went there for dinner; we had pizza which was sensational. The Chinese meals looked good as well.

Cabins are clean and location is central to beach, shopping center and river. Kids catered for in xmas hols with a pop up water park on site. Delicious Chinese and pizzas reasonably priced. Surf club dining is also close by .

Love The Bowling at Evans Head! Great staff, cold beer! And the Chinese restaurant is some of the best you've ever had!

Very large floor space divided up with a number of partitions. Staff very pleasant and helpful. We went for a Chinese meal dinner. Plane laminated tables in this hanger type space did not bode well. Pleasantly surprised with the dishes and the hospitality of the staff. Wine list very average.

This is a great club. Located next door to the caravan park and an easy walk. Great atmosphere, great friendly staff and locals. We had a beautiful meal in the Chinese restaurant located in the club. We look forward to our next visit.

Always a pleasure to visit and will miss Thursday night raffles and Chinese dinner

OMG if you haven't tried the Duck , please do, it jst melts in your mouth. Been back twice jst to have that meal.

Friendly staff, and a very nice Chinese Restaurant. Recommended.
