Friendly, welcoming, professional staff at every interaction. Great food, generous serving sizes. K8ds eat free sunday was great too. Would definitely go back next time we're in town

Went for lunch and stayed for dinner x 2 during our weekend visit from Newcastle ! Meals were outstanding !!

We recently attended here for an afternoon of Barefoot Bowls for a friends 40th. Haven't been out that way in years. Was really impressed with the club facilities especially when keeping the kids occupied with the awesome play area. Food was tasty. Drinks cold & friendly staff.

Beautiful refurbished family friendly club, fantastic food and very quick to come out from ordering, a great fenced playground for children of all ages. Lots of seating, parking and toilets.

Nice small friendly club - Reschs on tap, nice and cold, cannot complain at all! Decent bistro - Monday night was schnitzel night, huge and healthy portion. Fish and chips ok but not outstanding (I think the fish was air fried).
Overall a good place for eats!

We can stroll up to the Club for a meal, always friendly and a great atmosphere, very enjoyable experience.

Christmas in July not good. Vicki was great. No crackling or apple sauce (as advertised). No sense of an 'event's. Band okay. Disappointing!

Club has been modernised with new renovations ,food is good but prices on some items are over the top ,good club to visit and have a good day for lunch or dinner ,staff very friendly helpful ,nice place to go

As a member I have enjoyed visiting the club for meals about every three weeks on average , but am disappointed in the new club layout for dinning. It feels like there is no dinning room , you sit down to eat where you can , if you can . It was quite difficult to collect my meals and carry them all the way back to my table surrounded by a mixture of people eating meals and reasonably loud talking drinkers.i believe in dinning rooms with table service because it is what it should be. The new table booking rules are for larger groups only which makes dinning plans in the christmas period very difficult to make.

Went for a meal & beer both were terrible,,had to line up to get a drink,,2 tills,5 bar staff & 2 lines 20 deep,beer was not very cold,,meal order was not what we ordered,had to get it corrected & meals were cold.
Tables were filthy with empty glasses & slop everywhere & were not cleaned at all whilst we were there.
Service overall was bad,,layout of club was not good.
Will not return & cannot recommend.

We went tonight for the first time. The meals were so good. A great atmosphere and the service was fast. The lady at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. Will definately be going back. Thank you .

Attended this venue tonight, the food was fantastic. All meals cooked too perfection. Kudos to the chefs. And bar staff. Our issue was with the poor organisation of the courtesy bus, which was advertised to be running till 9.30. Wd were informed at 9pm that the bus was booked out, in a rude and sarcastic manner by the woman at the front reception eho did not offer alternatives transport suggestions. Such a shame the bus wasn't running last run out as advertised. This ruined the evening after such a good meal and evening.

Great renovations, food excellent and prices reasonable. Long overdue upgrades. 5 stars if they would allow dogs in the outside areas.

The weather was not in our favour however this place doesn't disappoint! Friendly staff, good value lunchtime specials and great atmosphere. Extensions/ Renovations should be almost finished.

Excellent! Our Social Bike club ended our charity ride there.
The food came out fast the beer was cold who can complain.
Dean the Manager was easy to deal with and donated a prize for our raffle. Also was so helpful when I ran out of raffle tickets ?

The view was quite pretty, the staff were really attentive, the drinks were well prepared - the interior was a bit dated but that's to be expected of a bowls club I think.

Went for lunch, place was clean and service was good.meals were tasty but small in size and were very over priced. Probably won't go back for a meal.

Heads up people who have made a choice not to Vaccinated- YOU and your FAMILY are not welcome in this club

My wife is unable to have the vaccination for medical reasons and I made a choice not to have an experimental vaccine, we are not ant- vaccine in any way but this is not a vaccine only by name

We have both been to the Fingal Bowling club on many occasions over the years but after today will never go back even if the management came to their senses and change their rules

In making their decision they have chosen to segregate the Australian Citizens and forbid the unvaccinated to be on their premises. I would like to see their risk assessment that we are a risk to them, as around the world statistics are know proofing the opposite, you only have to research this to find out the truth.

On entering the building we did not notice any signs requesting only double vaxxed can enter, we were not expecting it to be the case

There was no welcoming as we approached the bar, only a lady who straight out said are you vaccinated we replied in shock: no were not, she quickly informed us to leave.

There were 2 people in the restaurant, and we were there to spend some money on a meal and a few drinks - there loss

Karma is always a good thing and it will come.

It is totally out of my nature to even do a review but I was disgusted by today and will be spreading the word as this isn't just against those who made a choice it is against the Australian people.

Exactly what you'd expect from a bowlo: very friendly staff, a good selection of drinks including some nice wines, and large portion meals. The kids' playground outside is suitable for a range of ages with outdoor tables nearby for you to enjoy a drink or meal while "supervising". Prices are better for members and membership is only $7.50 for one year or $15 for 3 years (as at December 2021).

We went to the restaurant at the Fingal Bay Sports club on Good Friday for dinner, the meal was excellent, lobster, crab etc. went again on Saturday night with family and had another excellent meal with seafood, inc. crab, oysters, mussels, fish, prawns and calamari. So good. The service was great also. Thanks Kieran.

Very good club.After the poor experience at West Diggers the previous night, tonight was fantastic.Their covid restrictions are fine and their Covid Marshall was very nice and helpful.Dinner was delicious.The other club should take notice.
