My son went to Club Five Dock RSL for his accordion competition. He came first place in all his 6 groups. Alvin Xiao is the best in Australia in the 12 years and under in playing the accordion

Staff are really friendly.
Bistro food contained a decent selection and prices are decent.
Very family friendly place to bring the kids to.
Little play area is nice but you do need to supervise as other bigger kids tend to not be so mindful of the smaller kids playing in the vicinity.
Parents room are well maintained also.

We had a family birthday party there today with12 guests. Everyone enjoyed there meals except my husband & I who ordered the "roast of the day" which was pork. Paid $26 ea, the pork was so dry & tough we couldn't eat it. Probably won't go back ?

Had our daughter's birthday in the new function room which flowed into the outside area at La Casa on Level 1. The venue was perfect and Carmel and the team were amazing. The guests raved about the food and the staff were wonderful. From booking the event until pack up, staff were so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend venue and will be back there for dinner.

I highly recommend La Casa at Level One of Five Dock RSL, their customer service is second to none. Carmel and her team exceeded my expectations and I was completely impressed with their service and professionalism. I celebrated my 50th Birthday at La Casa and couldn't fault anything that the team provided. All of my guests were taken care of and they did everything to make my night a wonderful celebration. This venue you will entrust thoroughly for all your celebratory occasions.

It's a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of the main club area. Great food, beautiful set up and friendly welcome from Carmel, Frank and the rest of the team. Definitely check it out.

Who ever says this place is good needs thier head checked. No parking for starters, out dated fit out, the food and bistro is hopeless. Full of weird posh covid injected special people. The restaurant staff have no clue about whats on the menu, they couldn't even cook a simple cheeseburger. First and last time I'll be coming here.

Five Dock RSL is one of those places that I wish I had discovered many years ago, but only found recently. From the greeting at the front door to the food from the restaurant, it's hard to fault anything here. Drink prices are good and having now worked my way through most of the dishes on offer from the restaurant, I can say that the food is excellent (especially the lamb (or occasional chicken) souvlaki plates). Friday and Sunday raffles are good and there's a good trivia night on Thursdays. Staff are genuinely friendly.

I try not to review if I don't visit the place at least twice.However, this time is exceptional.

Had lunch with friend and 2 kids yesterday. They have perfect sized kids play area and parents toilet very next to it.

Good food and super friendly staff! I can give all stars to Gilbert who genuinely show his hospitality to all of us.
Definitely going to visit again.

Had a great lunch there yesterday. The menu was so varied plenty to pick from standard pub fare to Asian fusion. Great quick service I had the crispy barramundi it was to die for. My daughters had steak and chicken parmigiana. They were delicious the chef is to be commended???-

$6 for a can of coke. It's cheaper at a fine dining restaurant. Chased our food twice, our table got their food but the 2 people who ordered salads waited 40 minutes. Tasteless and over priced

Really convenient with kids, there is a little enclosed play area inside with Aircon and a monitor screen on the outside of the room. You could eat and watch them from the outside. Food was pretty good too. The chicken schnity was real nice. Kids portions are good too.

Reception staff was very welcoming, but th kitchen an bar staff not so, waited for a few minutes to order oth drinks an meals, then waited for our meals to be served after it being sitting on bench...

Attended a 60th Wedding Anniversay lunch in one of the function rooms at Club fivedock.
The food was plentiful and tasty.
A special mention to the Chefs , regarding how good and tasty the slow cooked Lamb Soulder was.
It was outstanding.
The Staff were friendly and didn't miss a beat.

We had a pleasant dinner here and our kids had an absolute blast in the kids play area. The free kids meal promotion on Friday nights was an excellent bonus too! We had a mix of pasta's, burgers, steaks, chicken schnitzel, wedges and spring rolls. All the meals were large, tasty and filling. We will definitely be back soon!

New catering chicken schnitty are huge and fresh and always consistent, salt pepper squid are delicious and the rump steak too.
We're living local and always come here for a good feed.

The food was very tasty, the squid salad mixed with orange sections and feta very morish. The steak deal with your choice of 2 sides excellent for $15.

As a Professional Face Painter in Sydney, I have visited this lovely little club.
This club is great for children and adults to enjoy their birthday party or christening party or other type of function.
There is a really good little play area for the children to play in also!
Love the food here, and their is really good entertainment back on a Saturday night.

I blacklisted this place for a long time. Their food always used to let them down - overcooked, lack of flavour and underwhelming.That was disappointing as they have a wonderful kids area for the kids to play in plus Club Five Dock is only a short walk away.

As a last resort we went for dinner there last week. I tried to convince hubby to go elsewhere but alas, I lost the battle. I'm so happy to see they have stepped up their game... A LOT! The dumplings we ordered for entree were nice. The $10 steak was really good. Honestly, the steak surprised the heck out of me as previously (years ago) I ordered rare and steak came out overcooked with no sauce. For a fussy steak eater this was a travesty. Well done Club Five Dock... keep it up! Big improvement. We'll now happily return.
