Was great place to go to food was great drinks and my boss loved winning in the gambling on the pokers he won there nearly every time we wer in town while we were working for two weeks ...?what a nice place to retire in forbes ...better than sdy ..??ha mybe one day thing

Can honestly say I have never been made to feel more welcome at a club then i did at Club Forbes.
The staff are so friendly, accommodating and welcoming they should be the benchmark for all RSL club staff.
Well done to Club Forbes. I hope more clubs take a leaf out of your book

A little disappointed on the Sunday roast, a bit old nothing roasted didn't have much substance to it. The soup was good though.
The fact that the kitchen is open doesn't help when one of the chefs in black was scoffing his face full of chips and serving food simultaneously but the good thing is you can hear all the weekly gossip.

Great food at a reasonable price. Quick and friendly service. A good menu range.

Went there hoping for a nice roast dinner, so disappointed!
The stingiest roast dinner I've ever had. Two tiny blocks of'roast' potato, 15 peas, 2 silvers of carrots, 2 thin slices of beef.
Never going back there, so tourists beware!

Great friendly service The chef is definitely worth ever cent he gets paid and more the meals are excellent well done guys.The warm lamb salad is just exceptional will definitely be back

Did-interested employees and generally not good vibes from this place. Not flexible with the food add ons...meaning that if you want vegetables instead of chips and salad you need to pay extra...really???? ...no good when you are competing with the tourist dollar in a small town...please make us welcome ...?????"...Meal was delicious thou...thank you !

Great club, convenient location. Fantastic meals. And the War collection was amazing.

Stopped for a quick coffee on a Sunday. 25 minutes for two coffees and two biscuits. Coffee and tea was ok. I know it's a club but wanted people to be aware very slow.

Used to love having a good cheap lunch here Now I'm left wondering whose idea it was to change everything and charge like a wounded bull for a meal At around $80 for two and that doesn't include drinks, I know I'm not the only one giving it a miss Time for a rethink Club Forbes I've never seen the Bistro so empty

When visiting from Queensland we stop into the club to have a meal. Always great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Unfortunately due to move interstate we are no longer members of the club, but that doesn't stop us from visiting.

I can't believe that a bistro would not serve vegetables as part of a meal you have to purchase separately for $6 and you have to have the salad as well absolutely ridiculous. Won't be coming back

Loved the helpful friendly staff. I went to the movies I hate to say but the theatre was filthy. We had to get staff in to clean the area. I have to sat they were very apologetic about the condition of the theatre. The screen is a big screen and the sound system was great. The experience was fantastic as there is only seating for 37 and the choice of seating had bean bags. All over a fantastic time from all the people who we didn't know lots of laughing.

Checked the Website to see when meals were on so I could go down for a meal, arrived only to be informed the Bistro doesn't open for dinner Monday or Tuesday and this was a Monday.
The website needs to be updated so people looking for a meal can be accommodated. Not very impressed when I am trying to spend my money in my home town.

Delicious!! One of the best butter chickens I've ever had. Good sized portions and range of options on the menu. Great value for money and enjoyable atmosphere. Food was served promptly, even during rush hour. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area.

Friendly staff, and homely atmosphere. The food is very tasty, well portioned and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our lunch here.

fine establishment, nice lounges , lighting. Relaxing place to go after a long day at work.
My steak was excellent & the bar staff are very friendly & outgoing.
The whole town of Forbes is very well maintained & scenic... Christmas decorations are up already here the councils done a good job here. Flood affected at times as it was on this visit with work. We found a stranded kangaroo.

Went there for first time last Sunday to see Terry Leonard performing. Very impressed with modern facilities, and nice relaxing family atmosphere. Big auditorium, with a dance floor. Auditorium used as a cinema too. Kids play room with games screens, easy to see what they are doing from the cafe. Nice food in the Bistro. Highlyrecommended.

Friendly people a nice country RSL with nice food. A bit of a wait to order and for food. Good family venue. Fish and chips special good. Pork cutlet very tasty.

If you're looking for a really good value for money meal while in Forbes then this is the place. A really nice, modern venue, with polite, welcoming staff. The roast of the day ($20) included a soup starter, with tea/coffee and dessert. Really nice.
