Extremely disappointed with our experience on 22 February. Service was slow despite the venue being quiet, and one waiter was particularly rude. He took a plate while we were still eating, dismissed our question about it, and threw it in the bin with food still on it.
The bigger issue was how security and reception treated our group. Our teens sat outside while the adults moved inside due to the cold. At 10.25 pm, a security guard abruptly said minors had to leave by 10.00 pm, something never communicated or signposted. He had already confronted the teens, accused them of lying about their parents being inside, and pressured them to leave. My son was especially shaken.
When I questioned reception about the lack of signage, I was met with rudeness and dismissed with, "It is the law." Meanwhile, another family still had a child inside, so why the double standard? As I waited outside with the kids, staff and security laughed and shrugged as if it were amusing.
The issue is not the law, it is the staff's attitude. Completely unacceptable.
