I've been here a few times with friends and family. Today, we ordered the Beef Nachos and the Mushroom & Halloumi Burger and they were amazing as always.

I am greatly disappointed by their laksa. Though it had most of the components needed for a laksa, the soup was very salty and barely had coconut milk/cream, which is a key ingredient. I've had the laksa a few months prior to this experience and it was good then, not sure what happened this time around.

Overall, they have great food for a reasonable price and service is amazing! Lovely staff who are always there to help.

I guess I did not choose very well from the menu, No orders infront of my wings and kids fish and chips. Kids chips were cold and fish tasted like it was yesterday's oil. Covid19 taught us we don't need to eat poor quality food.

The Forestville RSL club has delicious food, kind staff, and a clean, modern atmosphere.

The venue is great with a good outside space for kiddos. But the food was horrendous. Ordered the chow mein and there was not a single cooked noodle on the plate. Just a plate fill of noodle crisps! Shocking

Ordered the fish and chips. Was around $20 so was expecting more on the plate. The fish tasted mostly of batter and it was obviously not the most high quality fish. Would recommend ordering something else, maybe the burgers or Asian food. The redeeming factor was the overall atmosphere.

The place is lovely and has a great outdoor area, however the customer service offered is appalling. The people working at the bar feel entitled and act as they were law enforcement and have zero communication skills. My partner got told off for spilling his beer on the floor. Absolutely petty. Never coming back

Meals have got a lot better of late. Good range of dishes. Nice range of beers and wines as well. Excellent garden bar, nice in summer.

My review is for the bistro. Ordered the daily special which was the beef brisket and was disappointed to discover half the meat in the dish was actually fat! The dish was incredibly oily aswell. My dad was also surprised by how much fat there was and remarked on it.
Won't be ordering again. For that quality we deffinitely got ripped off.
That being said, the staff at the front desk were very compassionate when I approached them about the issue, their help was very much appreciated.

Great club, been going here for years and never really been disappointed till now. Just a shame the quality of the bistros food has changed!

Was pleasantly surprised by the food. There is also a park that you can access through the back (through a carpark so an adult or responsible child will need to accompany younger kids). Kids meals come with ice cream!

Great dinner with 10 diners.
Can highly recommend the barramundi.
Kids could play outside. Easy parking.

One of the worst food experiences I've had. The food was inedible, absolutely devoid of any flavour, frozen vegetables, dry old, bottom of the pan rice. They forgot to dress the Thai beef salad, had to ask for dressing and witnessed the chef tasting the dressings with his finger to decipher which is the correct one.

Absolutely appalling. I'm surprised that the RSL allows the food standard to be so sub par.

Ordered the steak sandwich. Steak was blue raw. I was surprised it was blue, although a valid cooking point, for a sandwich I would expect it to be medium by default. It was chewy as hell, and the border so hard that made in inedible. Impossible to eat with hands, and the knife provided was blunt so it became messy. So much BBQ sauce that I could only taste that.
The place is nice and staff friendly.

If you want families with kids, you would need to make the place more attractive for kids... your key competitors have dedicated kids areas - at the Forestville RSL they can run outside but that's about it. Also, the restaurant area doesn't feel very contemporary... it could do with better, more comfortable seats. Staff at the entrance is very welcoming and helpful- food is hit and miss, some items good, some not great value for money.

Great food. Staff were really helpful with food allergies.
Laksa was great and so was roast of the day.

Spacious and cozy indoor setting and fabulous outdoor 'bier garden style' seating arrangements. Kind and helpful staff, easy parking and a great place to play snooker as well as pool. Definitely my favorite RSL

My family & I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. Last night one of daughter's had the fish of the day( barramundi) was quite a small serve,must have been short of ingredients with salad too,it was warm...hence she left hungry. Whereas I had the lchucjen & prawn laksa & it was great. So bit if a hit & miss sometimes with the food.

Nice club friendly staff. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Selection of beers on tap and function rooms upstairs. Downstairs feels light and almost summer/beachy. Would recommend.

I am finding it hard to get the basic food. Like roast of the day and snitties. Someone had recommended the food here and so we had to try. It did not disappoint. I have tried both beef roast and pork roast and I love them. Not dry , really moist and gravy is not a blob. The snitzel is well made too so crispy and chunky. Servings here are quite good. Also the nachos are made well, no soggy liquid from the sauce. This is my new fave goto for roasts and snitzel. People should definitely try this place. Also fast service!!

The mobility/disability toilet is in a disgusting state of disrepair. There's water on the floor, buckets on the floor and a hole in the roof that has been there for months. Getting my client to the sink in a wheelchair was too difficult.

Surprisingly good food, not a long wait at all and was tasty, good area for kids but no balls games allowed on the artificial grass which was a bit odd, would have been better if they could have a kick around on there.

Went on a Wednesday night and was surprised how busy it was with a full car park. The special was fish and chips for $17 which was ok but the chicken strips in the kids meal was just large nuggets. Might be tempted to go again, but more likely during the day when the bowling green is open as the outdoor seating area looked like it would be nice on a sunny day.

I have been in the Roseville area so much, wasn't aware that there were any clubs around this suburb. This was rectified today. What a nice club, friendly staff and really good food! If I am in the area again I shall drop in for another lovely Luncheon. What a lovely find you are!!!

decided to stop by for lunch when driving past. We were certainly glad we did so. We ordered the classic grill fish and chicken schnitzel, food was served promptly hot and fresh.

I feel the food section needs a lot of upgrading

Fantastic staff, great service, courtesy bus is great, very reasonable prices for food and drinks. I did prefer the old, more traditional menu

Kids can run outside on the greens, secret snooker room and nice food

Great club. Good vibe, clean and bright with great food and service

Haven't been here for more than 3 years, very good outdoor seating now and pretty modern. Foods are ok, a bit pricey but service is awful. Staffs have no idea where the foods go. We were told to pick out number and when we said we are gonna sit out the lady gave us buzzer but we saw foods are still delivered outdoors anyways!? Buzzer didn't ring at all and my husband went to see what happened after 20mins wait. Turned out my fish was there for quite a while and another lady (asian) took the parmi somewhere and back to the counter. Kept looking at dockets but no idea, my husband told them it's what we ordered. Decided to take parmi but not my fish as it was there at least 10mins. The guy (Nepalese or Indian national) tried to get him to take it but he refused, chef was nice and offered us new one. The guy told my husband he will deliver to us but he didn't, he rang buzzer twice and my husband confronted him and he said he had no idea where we sat eventhough he was told. Hopeless. Won't be back anytime soon.
