Played the course and had a follow-up lunch. Unfortunately it had been raining so the course was very wet. The food was yummy and I can see why it gets packed.

Fish and chips are a generous size and $20 for members $10 to join as of July 2024. GF menu available.

It's a great place to eat,drink and social activities.
And the bar staff and bistro staff are wonderful.
And Sam the barman is 10 out 10 top guy .

We had the seafood platter for 2, and shared among 3 adults and 1 child. Don't forget to order the seafood platter 1 day in advance. We had a beautiful table by the window.
I forgot to take pics until after we already got stuck into it.
It was delicious! I felt it was good value as well. They had raffles on too, would have made it all the more sweet if we had won a meat tray!

Golfers Beware! Forster Golf Course

This golf course is under a massive renovation, including a new dam & extensive irrigation throughout the course.

We were not warned before we drove over an hour to play this course. Which was very disappointing as we could have played many other courses in the area. The proshop employees were not forthcoming with this information. I would avoid for at least the next 6 months or specifically ask how the course is fairing!

After coming to Forster for 12 months so glad I finally found the golf club.
Food is outrageous- all the staff are friendly and easy going.
Was continuously eating out around Forster and leaving full plates.

Seafood here is great , local oysters were fresh and we shared a whole lobster mornay which was amazing and came straight out of the shell . We will be back to try the Thai food ,the seafood platter (some one across from us ordered it and it looked amazing )and a round of golf

Can not get enough of this restaurant!! From the crispy mango chicken to the crumbed lamb cutlets, I could go on. It was so delicious. Happy atmosphere wonderful, friendly staff.

Amazing they have the best penang chicken ever. I live 7 hours away and every holidays I have to come get my fix. Food is always amazing so is the service.

Nice little golf club. Bistro has good meals and well priced. Make sure you book, because this place is busy. Pre book the seafood platter for 2, it's well worth it, you can't order on the night

Amazing golf course for all beginner and professionals

Staff are friendly and welcoming. It's a great place to bring the family and the meals are reasonably priced and delicious. We will be back!

Don't play golf, but it's a great spot for a meet and greet or a quiet drink with friends. The restaurant,always has great food, lunch or dinner and the staff are always friendly.

Food is always quality, comes out quick, and drinks are cheap ??'? They have a Thai style menu along with thier normal menu asell.

Website doesn't include a menu even though it says it does. When you ring the number to order takeout it tells you to leave your number if you want to book a table but all tables are booked. Get your act together you are losing business, this is the second time we've tried to get take away and have gone to your competitors instead.

Came here at the last minute as a lot of other places were closed, but next time this wil be our first choice! Absolutely beautiful food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere with some live music.

Had the Thai seafood combo, which is an interesting take on a seafood platter. It was very tasty, with an impressive amount of seafood for the price (in my opinion) however a lot of the seafood was a bit overdone and somewhat dry, still very tasty and the Thai sauce offset the dryness well. My girlfriend ordered grilled chicken with avo and prawns, she said the same (tasty but dry). I guess you'd rather it overcooked than under. Flavours are great, just nail those cooking times!

I'm giving 3 stars because the food was nice but the first wine glass that my aunty got given had somebody else's lipstick on it and the two of the small plates that were given were dirty

A great day on a lovely golf course.

My wife and I had dinner here. My wife ordered lamb shanks with potato mash and veg. They had run out of mash so had a choice of extra veg or chips. Chips it was, but she was disappointed. But the lamb shank was good though.I had lobster morney. The salad end chips were good but the lobster was very overcooked and dry. The chef was informed who came out. She and the other staff members were very courteous. Maybe we just picked a bad night.The club had a good atmosphere and we had an enjoyable night but were just disappointed by our meals.

The food at the Forster golf club is phenomenal, also reasonably priced. We had the chicken sizzle plate and sweet and sour pork ribs. So tasty. We will come again before we Leave for home.

We were just blown away by the sea platter for 4. Our guests were very impressed with the quality of products, the staff were great as was the service.we highly recommend it & will be back.Thank you Jeff & Sue YOUNG

Great fun golf course. Generally can play through quite quickly. Make sure you dont hook or slice the ball on a few as they are directly next to the road. Other then that, great to play. The food and drinks are good also.
