At the end of a long day's drive, we enjoyed Steak Night at the Gilgandra Services Club. Fabulous, friendly service and a great dinner. Highly recommended.

Went for Good Friday lunch. Got the barramundi and chips with salad. The chips were delicious, but the fish was definitely not, very disappointed. Also, the emergency exit door was broken - and bolted closed...oh&s problem there.
Staff were nice and somewhat helpful.

Can recommend the steak burger, and the crispy chicken and mango salad. Great service and a good range of beers, located in a great country town. Enjoy. Update, the Wednesday night 'steak and beer' special is another one to try. And the beer is any on tap, not just the standard beers. Enjoy.

Great service from the 2 young guys behind the counter of the bar. Very helpful and nothing was a problem. Good to see in a world where customer service is sinking. Well done guys.

Great hospitality, and good food at this Rsl club I highly recommend storing here for dinner , with your family or by yourself, you won't be disappointed, with a courtesy bus to pick you up and drop you home from your accommodation in town I would highly recommend coming here for a meal or a drink.if you are in the vicinity, I will definitely be back again. ?

Had a great club meal here with my mum, a few beers and a few wines,with really reasonable prices, staff and locals were friendly ,what more can you ask for!

Kitchen staff were laughable I ordered a pizza before someone else then I was told there was none left then person behind me got their the same time I ordered when I complain I was told they ordered before me which they did not kitchen staff here are a joke if I were you I would never come here again

Food was cooked and served quickly. Tasted lovely.

The 'Thai beef and salad' was terrible. I ate it because I was starving and tired after big drive from Narrandera (where I had a fabulous meal). The steak was old and dry, but the really bad thing was that the dish was drowned in VINEGAR!!!
Everything else on the menu was crumbed including steak of all things.
Go somewhere else.

This is the friendliest place to meet people in Gilgandra. Fantastic staff and it has been the go to social space...Wednesday steak night special is the best deal in town

Booked a family reunion and they cancelled the day before .The Royal Hotel accommodated us won't be going to the RSL GILGANDRA again .

Worst food in History- I do not know why they bother. Cold overcooked meat, cold vegetables, nothing fresh on the plate - a huge dish of disappointment and far too expensive. Bar staff and office staff excellent. Everyone at work was friendly.

A small RSL club in Gilgandra serves as one of the few entertainment hubs in Gil which is equally a small suburb albeit a beautiful and peaceful place with lots of Roos (Kangaroos). The club is open in the evening from 6pm to 8ish. I ordered the sirloin steak and fries with a salad. the steak was yum I liked it. it's quiet and has the pokies. if you're in Gil and seeking somewhere to dine quietly make sure you look in.
