I recently had lunch at Granville Diggers, and I must say I was quite impressed. The new menu they've introduced is not only delicious but also very reasonably priced. The staff members were polite and attentive, which made the dining experience even better. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Service extremely poor, it was 90 minutes after ordering that we just gave up & got a partial refund. Apparently it was busy night with a function on. However, when you see 2 tables arriving after you but having their banquets served before you, you wonder if the staff don't just simply dislike you. As we were leaving they did serve 1 of the missing orders as a "takeaway sorry".
Won't be looking to return any time soon.

Walked in with my family. Out of the hot sun (casual dressed)
Walked into the Chinese restaurant and got stopped at the entry by a man named Andy and said "u European u not drink Chinese tea, you go eat over there" and didn't allow us to sit down to order food.
So rude! I never ever got talked this way about my nationality.
So my family and I did as he said and order from the other side and they where lovely.
Very disappointing with Andy on his behaviour and wouldn't go back there again

I went there for dinner. I had friends fly in from China yesterday. I took them all day to wollongong an kiama . We got back late. We went for dinner only but wouldn't let us in. Partner didn't have licience on her. And 3 friends no id only passport back at ashfield. I am a veteran. Could of let uscin for dinner but turned away. Disgusted as I am a veteran an told them. Of case of they only flew in. What good is rsl if don't do nothing for a veteran . Not happy at all.

It's great here and awesome that it's returned! Yum Cha is back at Granville Diggers...YAY! Can find some really old school yum cha dishes not found elsewhere like Duck Feet Wraps, Chic Feet in Herbal Soup, even Steamed Turnip Cake! All delicious! Needless to say, we've returned a few times! Best Fried Squid Tenticles ever!
