Just keeps getting better and better. New outdoor terrace and games area for the children now up and running and the menu and quality and quantity of the food brings in the people in, so much so we couldn't get a table tonight no problems there, I will wait, it's worth it!!..

Food was great, Antonio helped make the visit great. He was both professional very attentive, never ignoring you. What a pleasure he was to deal with. Now the other staff where both not very friendly and very I'm here never a smile not listening overwhelmed.
What a difference this visit was to have one staff member that even though he was rushed off his feet still managed with a smile.
Other staff there need to take note customer service is noticed and appreciated.

Whilst there were some positives with hosting a party of 25 guests at the Acres for our 12 year old daughters birthday, it was a real struggle to navigate around the rules and regulations of the club which contrary to the marketing proved NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY VENUE.

1.We were reprimanded for taking out too many plastic cups for our guests to drink water and soft drinks.

2. The children were constantly reprimanded for running and playing in out-of-bound areas. They weren't allowed to go the bathroom unsupervised(even our 16year olds). It's a no ball venue even though there are beautiful large areas for kids.

3. There was ZERO assistance to help run out food to our guests (30+ dishes).

4. Drink service was very slow so my husband and I both spent half our night waiting for bar service.

5. There is no wheelchair access into the venue so our mum who uses a walker to help her move about had to climb many stairs to get into the venue and get to the bathroom - this led to her leaving early as she couldn't get to the bathrooom without assistance which was most embarrassing for her.

6. One of our more eccentric guests was accused of being intoxicated (completely untrue and embarrassing for us as hosts) early in the evening which led to a full BAN OF ALCOHOL to all of our adult guests. Following this ban, we were also told we had 15 minutes to wrap up our party and leave the premises - the icing on the cake after spending $1.5k. The manager did let us stay in the end but the stress of this entire debacle ruined our night.

My husband and I didn't argue or complain with the management as we appreciate the club has rules. However we do want to share our experience with other families who might be thinking about this venue for a function - THIS IS NOT A CHILD FRIENDLY VENUE.

The food was nice and quick.
The outdoor tables have a nice vibe.

Love the food at this place. Great value for the meals. Everything I've ordered here has been excellent.

I hadn't been to this club in years and the refurbishment by Bankstown Sports has come up well, a large indoor and outdoor areas with plenty of seating.
The bar has a good selection of beers and cocktails to choose from.
Mikes Grill restaurant is brilliant with a wide selection on the menu with fresh food that tastes amazing- the grilled lamb cutlets and crumbed calamari was delicious!
Definitely recommend and will be back !
