The food is not good at all when the chips are undercooked chicken over cooked and extra payment for just sauce with my meal

First time visitor. Good food and really great staff - friendly and so helpful. Management, I was there on 14th July for a lunchtime function. The bistro and door staff were amazing.

Friendly staff, satay chicken, schnitzel and steak were nice. Lovely little club. Reasonably priced.

Had dinner here 5/1/24 they have new bistro lessees. The food tonight was awful, lamb was supposed to be a grilled dish but was 4 fatty tough overcooked fried forequarter chops. The chicken was so overcooked and tough you couldn't cut it. The food (and Asian) has always been great here but the new lessees are not in the game. The venue was quiet but still took an hour. If the food is not good no one will come. We love our club a member for 50 years. Don't kill it on us with bad food.

We had a lovely night dancing to Midnight Drifters, a rock n roll band. The food is pretty good, they make a mean pizza! and the service is quite friendly.

Delicious food and friendly customer service! I'm very pleased and will definitely be returning.

Clean and quiet space with a pleasant outlook across the bowling greens and beyond. Staff are friendly and relaxed. The food menu has a good selection offering club staples and Asian favourites. The beer selection though is very basic with no craft beer on tap or in bottles.

I would like the pasta meals too come back I went there too have spaghetti and so did my other family and steak meals and more for the kids and the fish basket I was so disappointed if you want more customers bring these meals back and maybe roast dishes and roast dishes

Absolutely pathetic staff! A girl was having an asthma attack outside and when the operator for emergency contacts ordered us to get a defibrillator, they refused to provide it to us and were really rude about it. Apparently it's against their policy but what happened To humanity?

The ambulance operator told us to get it from them but nope pride over anything even over a human life!
Disgusting.

Haven't been here for years. Merrylands Bowling Club now own it,but it's still called Guildford Bowling Club. The food , ambience, staff, decore......simply everything ..is absolutely 100% 10/10. I was very impressed. Very friendly club , but I must pay gratitude to the staff in the kitchen and on the counter. I will be back on a regular basis....and I am not a local. I live about 30-45 minutes away.

Great greens. Located in a nice spot. Bistro is good. Reasonable bar prices. Overall, a pretty good club.

Had lunch with friends. The food was great with very generous servings. It was quiet which made conversation easy. The staff were friendly without being intrusive.

It is a smallish club with a good outlook over the greens and the park next door. You get the feeling of open spaces. There is a bistro which serves Asian cuisine and the usual pub type food. There are pokies, a TAB and TV's for watching the footy etc. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I was there on a Sunday and it was quite with only a dozen or so people there.

Horrible, when you to Dine with someone you expect to receive your meals at the same time. Today I waited 10 minutes after my husband was served. Then they sent the wrong meal out to me. I had to get management to step in before I could get a refund. They then sent the meal that was served to me to another guest, who had observed that it had firstly been served to me. This used to be the best freshest food, been there many times before. Sadly management has changed.

Hidden in a side street of Guildford is a gem of an eating place called Guildford Bistro. This is an older style club building, long and thin, but it is comfortable.

The staff were all very cheery and welcoming to visitors.

As usual, the main purpose of our visit was food. We were not disappointed. For some things, the prices are a bit lower than expected, for the others they are around the same as Club Merrylands (who owns this club).

The meals are BIG. She who Demands Obeyance took half of hers home. I have no qualms in paying for the meals here. They were on the table quite quickly after ordering, they were attractive and (most of all) tasty.

It is much easier to gt served here, so we will more likely be coming here instead of the main club, in spite of the extra distance.
