Great club,, sitting on the lakeside with beautiful views ,, member ship only $5 a year and cheeper if getting multiple of years. Staff very friendly and helpful to visitors. Up stairs restaurant with beautiful views, bar and toilets available. Lift or stairs to restaurant. Verandah with kids play area. Comfortable furniture with a lounge area. Wide variety of meals to suit everyones taste from burgers, steak, sausages, pizza, fish and chips and many more. Bar in restaurant area. When you have a good business always better to book. Large on site and parking across the road. See you there

Closed at 10:45 on a Friday despite advertising to be opened until 12:00. When lining up at the bar interested to order we were told to order quickly for last drinks. As we we were up at the bar the first and only announcement was made that the bar was closed (with no prior warning & we had been there for over an hour at that point). We heard people sitting behind us near the bar that they were also surprised the bar was closed. When we went to order after being told to order quickly we were reassured it was closed, to which we asked why we were to still order & why we would not be served considering we were waiting to order before closure. We weren't upset about not being to order until it was after the elderly man behind the bar who we assume is the "supervisor" repeatedly said they were closed. When we asked why we were still told to order before the announcement anyway and asked us which staff member exactly said so. We found this to be odd, after expressing the confusion of the situation which was only further led by the fact we were there for a friends farewell, we had to leave after only one drink. This is such a shame, the younger staff have always gone beyond when I've been there, it seems there's an intimidation between the elderly supervisor and the friendly younger bar staff. We did question this as we left up at reception, to which the receptionist stood by the elderly supervisors side. We thought it was strange there were no announcements indicating the bar was closing in 15 mins etc, until it happened! Seems like poor training and communication on the supervisors side.

We went to Gwandalan Bowling Club for the first time to be join Barefoot Bowls with Rabbit from The PodVan and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, the playgrounds entertained the kids, the food was yummy, the afternoon band sounded great and the view was phenomenal.

Lobster mornay on Wednesday night was so delicious and flavourful - made in house. Salt and pepper squid was really good too.
