We are from out of town and we had a feed of Chinese banquet here tonight and the food was excellent. We didn't wait longer than about 15 minutes for the meals to arrive and we ended up getting some take out containers as we couldn't eat it all.
Would definitely recommend as a place with nice food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Had a great Indian meal here about a week ago as travelling through. Chinese chef was away so impromptu Indian. Very good.

It's a basic club with a pretty good Chinese menu. Prawn toast was excellent, more lettuce needed for the San Choi Bow but the scallops were great and the drinks are cheap.

The best ever Chinese food I have ever eaten. Husband and wife team were so busy but the food was quick and great flavours and servings.

Can't believe how good the meal was!
Food was on the table 12 mins after ordering, was fresh, very tasty, and plentiful. Staff were great too.
What a shame we only come thru once a year.

Stopped here on our way through Hay at 7pm at night not much open but found the Bowling Club which was clean and easy to park and it was packed the Chinese restaurant was lovely. One cook and one waitress and seriously packed with a couple of birthday parties, travellers and locals. Has great bar - clean tidy restaurants rooms - we did have to wait for an hour but it didn't matter as we could watch the Olympics have a cool drink and the food was delicious. A definite place to have a meal.
Hay Bowling & Golf Club is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from noon to 11 PM. They are also open Sunday and Saturday from 10:30 AM to midnight.
