The Ginseng Restaurant catered to my requests perfectly for my mother's 80th Birthday celebrations. We had a room to ourselves and were able to bring some decorations and a cake. They even provided candles when I forgot them.
The food was enjoyable and they catered for vegetarians, vegans, and coeliac dietary requirements.

Mostly canteen food at restaurant prices. That said, the children's dishes are fair now they (usually) give vegetables. The pricier dishes are good, even very good. Don't, however order a small fish unless you're happy with $28 for nothing. I contacted management who advised me simply to not order that dish again. How doubly unsatisfying!

I experienced this place for the very first time yesterday for our team lunch, all the Ginseng team was lovely and so welcoming. They served us food taking care of our dietary requirements, highly recommend this place.

The only place in south Canberra I know of that sells Galaktoboureko! Cheap cocktails, good food- would recommend the creamy garlic prawns! and it hosts good events, such as Steve-O and Issac Butterfield.

Friendly staff, went there on a Sunday for lunch.
In the first dozen people to get food.
My partner ordered the lemon sole,it was great.I ordered the roast of the day, pork with vegetables.
The pork was fine but the vegetables ( potato,pumpkin, broccoli) were only just warm!! I love my food hot,so I was very disappointed especially seeing we were early and expected everything to be hot and just cooked.
In this day of high costs,you want meals to be value for money,I felt mine wasn't, the kitchen needs to lift its game
