Went to a show in the basement, excellent venue, service and celiac meal was perfect, but the other 5 meals were served cold. I sent my cold meal back but my replacement meal was also cold.

Fantastic food and cocktails at The Builders Club, Woolingong. I had a fantastic beef ravioli and my husband had a Platform 61 burger.
Best French Martini I've ever tasted at The Botanist Bar and a delicious Winters End cocktail. Lovely ambiance in this bar and nice relaxed atmosphere in the entire club. I'd already had a couple of sips from the Winters End cocktail before taking the photo.

Must say haven't been there for nearly 20 years so really noticed a difference. Food was very very nice. We were there for a Tuesday lunch so not crowded, but I believe it's extremely popular weekends. Very clean. Separate areas for coffee and steakhouse. Staff were pleasant.
Lots of parking. Enjoyed my afternoon there and would look forward to going back.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. There is a bit of a crowd here but there is a good reason for that. Quality club, food and a great range of bars. The large screen is sensational for watching that critical sports match (we went there for the Las Vegas rugby league). I do have to mention the pizzas.. bases are the key to a good pizza and these guys have nailed it. Meat raffles are huge and the trivia was well run, delivered with a great sense of entertainment. A great place .. so good we joined (only a minimal fee anyway) This will become our local

Me and friend had BBq and Peri Peri Pizza from Platform 61. It was delicious. I would recommend everyone to try here.

I went here with the family on the weekend. It was the first time we'd been here since it had been renovated. It definitely has a fresh new feel to it. The multiple bars are great, along with the restaurant. The gaming area is proportionate for the clubs size and has many options available to choose from

I had a unit around the corner for over 20 years until 2018, when sadly, I had to sell. I love Wollongong, and this club. I went back on Thursday for the first time in many years. Had obviously not seen the renos. They have done a very good job. It is very nice. Food in bistro was good. Do yourself a favour and check it out

Had a function in the loft and the bar staff were lovely, the food was good and Patty (amazing bartender) made us some fantastic, super creative, well balanced gin cocktails that were the highlight of the night! Would highly recommend all gin lovers (and non gin lovers) to check out the gin bar at he builders club!

Food is good, a lot of parking space but it's smaller parking spots so be careful when parking

Great food, fantastic atmosphere, this isn't the builders club of old. If you haven't been in a while you should check it out. Stone Grill is amazing value and the food, especially the pizzas at Platform 61 is top notch. Gin lovers need to check out The Botanist Bar, and the Cafe offers a range of amazing snacks, cakes and coffee. The highlight is Legends Sports Bar. Get in and check it out.

The builders club have done amazing Reno's, it looks so inviting, the food is excellent and the coffee shop offers great coffee and sweets. Entry staff were very welcoming and informative on joining as a member. Happy to bring friends along to visit and enjoy the layout and meals.

We have gone here a few times now. Service is always slow but they are increasingly friendly.

We're delighted it's the same as every other time we've been here... friendly welcome staff at front desk, lovely young lady taking our order at bistro, friendly and humourous guy behind the bar taking drink orders. Meals are always delicious and delivered in a reasonable time. It's a popular place, there's usually large groups dining there when we come in for lunch. That speaks volumes to enthusiastic frequent diners like us.

Great place for a relaxing Sunday lunch. Food was good, service quick and friendly. I liked that there were a variety of places to sit for our meal, not just the regular dining chair and table but also comfy padded chairs too, makes sitting back with a glass of wine very nice. Feeling welcomed and high-end. The Builders has everything a top quality club can offer, only wish they had a roulette wheel in their pokie pit. Other than that...perfect.

It was my partners birthday and we were both working PM shifts at the hospital so I phoned to check what time closing was and last drinks were was verbally told 0330.

My partner and I walked there at around 0015, a security guard was outside the front doors as we walked toward the entrance.
Just before we got to the front door they entered inside and as we came up to the electric doors (not even 2 minutes behind the security) these electric doors were suddenly locked.

I looked inside and there was someone behind the bar and the security guard we had just seen who had very clearly seen us waking over (he looked in our direction for a good 30 seconds before walking inside), was standing there not 10 metres from the entrance, looked at us standing there and turned their back to us.

We tried to motion for them to open the doors and nothing so I naturally i phoned several times only now to be directed to a voicemail, put on hold, only to then be hung up on over and over again.

Don't state you are open until 03:30 unless you actually are.

It had just become my partners birthday come midnight and all we wanted to do was have a glass of champagne after a long shift and after walking quite far to get there only to be very clearly (and rudely) ignored made me quite annoyed.

Even after phoning the venue to double check prior and being told
It was definitely 03:30 closing time when I phoned at 23:15.

Unacceptable behaviour.

Either change your hours or sort your staff out, it's false advertising and frankly frustrating when a simple night is completely ruined even after you have made the effort to plan and check.

Ignoring patrons at the entrance in such a clear and rude fashion is also quite disgusting.
Not exactly the behaviour I would expect from the vibe you're company has promoted.

Ordered a garlic bread, chicken schnitzel and surf and turf, was informed to expect a one hour wait; no issue being that it was a Saturday night dinner service. 1.5 hours later; received the schnitzel. 2 hours from order time, still no garlic bread or surf and turf. Lady at the counter said it was next up! Pure bs. Requested a refund as we had our 1 year old with us and had to get him home for bed. No compensation for having to go home hungry. Won't be returning.

Normal Thursday night, we've ordered 6:45 then 8:10 PM they told us no pasta available! They've accepted the order, waited nearly 2 hours we've come here all the way from Tamworth hungry and the approach was "would you like a refund?" After 2 hours wait!!! Terrible terrible service! The area is nice but people come back to a venue because of good customer service! Would I recommend it he'll no! Staff talk to your co workers and communicate what's not available and not! Cut the long menu if no stock available, don't take orders!

We went here during the Christmas break in December 2021 and so it was peak period with staff shortages ( due to covid). The service was a bit slow (understandable given circumstances), however the food was delicious with big portion servings.

During dinner we were entertained with trivia which was a nice surprise as we did not know it was on. It kept us Entertained while we waited for our food.

The premises are refurbished , modern and very comfortable

Did not have QR code terminal s but we were registered and asked for our phone numbers for COVID contact purposes . At end of visit had to hand back temporary membership slips for checkout purposes. Food very good and reasonably priced at $15.00. Coffee very good. Toilet Facilities very clean and disabled toilet very roomy. Enjoyed our Wollongong outing.

We had a big group booking on a Saturday night and so obviously aware that we would not receive our meals for a little while (45 min wait sign on the counter). However, when you sit and watch people that were without a doubt, 30 people behind you in the queue, receive their meals before you do, you can understand our lack of patience. We (nicely) asked several wait staff, who were completely unaware of how long we were actually waiting, how much longer it might be, but couldn't give us any answers. In the end after much to-ing & fro-ing, we were finally lucky enough to get fed 2 hours later!!! Will NEVER return.

The refurb is amazing! Haven't been there in years but keen to make it my local. Drinks reasonably priced and great food. Different zones to sit in with different vibes. Definitely recommend!

12 months on and a new look club.
Very disappointed with the Bistro.
Eventually got to the front of the line to place our order only to be told it would be at least one and a half hours until the meal would be available.
90 minutes to make fish and chips is hardly good enough.
Cancelled our order and went to another venue

Absolutely amazing, we had dinner at the atone grill and then desert out in the club. Everything was divine. Staff were friendly and ambience great.

Excellent club. Renovations have lifted this club to the highest standard. Great choice of food from the bistro, restaurant and coffee bar. Great lounges to relax, awesome sports bar. And, my favourite, the best little hideaway bar with the biggest range of gins I have ever seen. One visit is not enough.
