Went for breakfast with a large group. (Booked ahead of time). The food came out lightning quick and was great value for money. The coffees came out of order and for some long after their breakfast had been served. The view is stunning however some of the older style stained roof tiles leave something to be desired. Overall the staff were friendly the food was good. Afew small things and it would of got 5 stars.

I had my wedding in september at the yacht and I couldn't be happier of how the day panned out. We weren't fussed on the cocktail menu so opted for the buffet which was fabulous ! We had not one single complaint about the food, intact everyone said it was amazing !! My husband and I are very selective of restaurant we eat at but we were very impressed.
Having the buffet created movement and chatter in the room and lots of mixing between guests.
Natasha and the staff were brilliant with the lead up to organising the event, on the day of the event and following. They were flexible and accommodating.
The bridal suite was amazing, truly.
The weather was windy so our ceremony took place upstairs rather than at the lake and the staff made the pivot seamlessly.
Thank you illawarra yacht club. We wanted a relaxed, simple wedding but still a hint of classy considering we are I our 50s. It was tailored to fit a combo of high top tabled and banquet tables ..some of the guests saying it was up there with the best.
Our celebrant married by donna claire" and MC Richard Hart, were also very impressed.

Very disappointed...again. This should be my local. It has amazing views friendly staff but the food is so so disappointing! Over cooked small pieces of fish steak, lazy out of the the jar sauces.. I could go on. When you pay a lot of money you expected something decent to eat. Unfortunately the positive food experience are very small. Please do better ! There is no excuse when customers pay money for a decently cooked meal.

I recently booked the Illawarra Yacht club for a family function.
Nothing was to much trouble for Natasha and her team to help our event run smoothly.
Natasha worked with my event planner to bring our party together beyond our expectation. Catering and bar staff delivered to a high standard and the fairylights hanging from the rooftop really elevated the overall look on the night.
Thankyou to the hole team for helping us create a wonderful night.

Plenty of parking, friendly reception staff and very big venue with expansive views of the lake . Perfect for a day out / get together for drinks and a meal
