Italian Australian Club - Local Club in Morwell Victoria

My wife and I visited last night and ordered 4 x $10 dishes from the Thursday specials. Did we order too much? Nope. Not at all. Top stuff... we'll be back, for sure.

Food was great however service not great. Getting a buzzer and going up to get meals where you place order and people standing over your food as your waiting to get it. Another customer even went to touch our food very poor all food came out seperate to everyone else's poor service and won't be going back.

Drove 30 minutes to what we expected was a delicious Italian meal. We ordered entree of cheesy garlic pizza, but the pizza arrived no garlic just cheese. One of our mains off the special board was the roast beef with the horseradish cream with vegetables. When our buzzer went we collected from the counter and was told we ran out of beef. This is lamb. I said. This is not what we ordered. They replied. We haven't got any beef, I replied. Beef was on the menu when you took my order.We then change that to the chicken scallopini when it arrived. I think it was a seniors not the main as we ordered. The other main main was the Baked dory in a Armond butter and sauce it looked like it was steamed dory and there was no taste in the sauce. Sprinkled with a few dried up almonds and accompanied with a pre-prepared salad overall experience was less than one star very disappointed. The price we paid is what I expect to pay in a decent restaurant this is an Italian club overpriced and the food is substandard.

Very over priced, sub standard food. Paid over $300, for 7 people. Not much to say about the meal as I was too busy dealing with the food poisoning my wife received after eating the oil soaked risotto. Only to be told by many that you only eat here if you wish to lose weight. Will not be back, EVER! And nothing can make it right.

Ordered Korean BBQ Rib paid 48 bucks for it. Was the worst Korean BBQ Rib I had ever tasted took two bites and returned it to the kitchen just to have the "Chef" if you could call him that, tell me it was a gelatinous price of meat!! 1st of all ribs are not gelatinous, 2nd of all, no Korean BBQ sauce roasted veg, not Korean veg and kimchi from a jar. And the bed of rice might as well have been a sheet of rice. I feed my dog better food than what i was served. Wasn't offered a replacement dish or a refund. As it was my mates sons 18th birthday lunch, I didn't make a scene for their sake. Definitely will never eat here again, and if you find yourself in Morwell looking for good grub, go to Cafe Qu Bah across the road, which is better, and the food is quality.
