We're really looking forward to visiting however person at the sign in desk stopped us as one member only had a state issued digital proof of identification rather than physical identification card. Person at the front desk quoting this was a legal requirement and we'd be fined $2000 if we entered. As per Liquor and Gaming NSW an interstate digital drivers licence is accepted (as at 07/08/24).
Strongly encouraged further training and development opportunities for this staff member.

I will say when we asked about our meals they refunded the money ... and fed us ....and provided the meal they missed. So all in all I have to give credit where it's due for good response to the situation.

Poor food service. Under staffed which is fine, it happens, however no strategy in place to deal with it. Ordered for 2 adults and 3 children at 6:25pm, it's 8:10pm and still no meals after numerous follow-ups and being told 5mins away, no idea at writing this when our meal will actually come, we have been told to be 'patient'. Next time warn customers of the delay when ordering and limit the menu so the cook can actually deliver the meals in a reasonable time. Kitchen staff were heard swearing at customers who were chasing their meals. Anzac Day tomorrow and shops will be closed until midday, we arrived this evening and planned to shop after dinner however Woolies will close in less than an hour so my husband has given up without dinner and left to shop.

The food was ok, nothing special. Usual suspects for a country town bistro.

Pool table - fun to play a game before/after lunch while the kids can play an arcade game right next to it.

The lift wasn't working so we had to carry a pram with a toddler and baby up the stairs. Quiet during the day we visited (Friday) which was nice.

The food is overpriced for what it is. The salad is very basic and the side of vegetables mostly consists of carrots. They have incredibly poor management which means there's no communication between the kitchen and floor staff. We waited over an hour for our food with no communication. When we asked how long it would take the staff kept saying 5-10minutes. We were then offered a refund after 75 minutes of waiting and had to find somewhere else to eat. I would not recommend this place for anyone to dine. We left very hungry and even more disappointed.

Nice staff. Asked for a well done steak and it was red raw. Vegetables consisted only of carrots with a couple of small bits of zucchini. We have had better here in the past. Disappointing.

I walked across town with my elderly parent to go to this place for a meal, the six of us were disappointed that we could not enter due to my wife not having her licence on her, we could not eat at their restaurant . I ask to speak with the manager and it was refused, I ask to sign in manual and was refused. we went across the road and had a grate time, even better then this place, food was fantastic across the road, This RSL almost killed my night, out of the bad experience with this rsl cam something good, and that's finding Banjos across the road, they even drove us home in the bus..

Welcome to this self service reception club. When my friend and myself came in, one of the barman who is serving in the bar, shouted at us saying " You have to sign in first there" As there was no one in the reception, we did try to sign in. After taking a while in signing in, one of the female staff came to help us and found out that the machine where we tried to sign in is not working. The staff couldn't work it out either until she went to other machine for signing us in.
To the guy who shouted us to sign in, I will give you a free tip. Next time you can say "we won't be long, one of our staffs will be there with you shortly". And this will give you the best customer service . Then customers will keep coming back in. Not everyone goes to the club or maybe some goes once a month , so these people wouldn't have a clue how to use the machine for signing in.
Foods: Caesar salad had lots of croutons but hardly any bacon nor cheese. It wasn't an impressive look.
Burger: tiny with just few chips much smaller than anywhere else.

Good old fashion bowlo. Good selection of beers. Food is really good. The 3 chefs in there seem to be doing a fantastic job. Meals were great. Not overly expensive also

Loved the chilled feeling here. Jack, who manned the bar and reception was excellent and so professional.
We really enjoyed the chicken parmigiana too.

Exceptional small country town homely feel. Compared to other venues drinks and meals were very well priced. One particular barman named Jake made my wife and I visit an absolute delight. This club definitely has their operations down pat. Incredible, we will be back. Highly recommend.

Not what it used to be.

The chicken schnitzels and chips are very good but the other meals we had were disappointing. The pasta dish was very small for the price, a kids meal really. The vegies were thinly cut and flavours less very different to the chunky style they previously served.

12 months ago it was much better and we went there maybe 6 out of the 7 nights we stayed in Jindabyne. This year we only went the once, so that says it all.

Best views of the lake in town. Cheap drinks, icy beers, good menus offering dining options all day, great staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Overpriced beer (8 bux a schooner), which I kinda expected. But more annoyed by the totally not rare steak I ordered and the stupidly tiny portion of salad (and even chips)... not worth the 40 bux I dropped on it!!!

My steak was good. But beyond that this place had little redeeming qualities. They have no booking system which makes finding a table an unpleasant free for all, especially if you're a bigger group. My friend got food poisoning from the chicken parmigiana.

Came here on recommendation from a friend. Large variety of food choices and food was pet decent overall.
We ordered the salt & pepper squid with chips, the chicken schnitzels and the pork belly.

The salt and pepper squid was actually not bad. The chips were great and nicely seasoned. The squid itself was on the softer side. I normally would prefer it to be a bit more chewy as a personal preference. But it was still really good. The batter kept falling off though. Would have been better if the batter was a bit more crispy and crunchy. The aoili was nice, i think it was handmade as it tasted better than the ones you find instore.

My partner had the chicken schnitzel and said it was a good serving, however the schnitzel was on the thinner side. Would have been nicer to have the chicken thicker and smaller in size. It came with pepper gravy sauce; it was a bit watered down compared to normal gravy, however instead of using normal salt and pepper, they used chilli peppers and the peppers overtook the taste of gravy unfortunately.

Our friend had the pork belly and said it was absolutely delicious and crispy. It was a very good size serving too.

We came just after 5:30pm (when they open) and it was a good thing we did, as the moment it 6pm came around the lines were out the door. We still had to line up for about 15 minutes for our food. Anyone that arrived after 6pm were waiting 30mins-1hr to order.

It does have a mini bar so you can order drinks while you wait and if you have children they now have a playground inside the food area.

Would recommend coming for a good feed, however make sure to come early! Or else you'll be waiting.

Also a funny side note, you cannot enter with snow boots, however you can enter with thongs.

Been coming here for 30 years this place used to have good food. Gone to the dogs. Absolute garbage. Don't bother. Never again. Spend your money somewhere else that appreciates the business. Barman that served me was not pleasant in any way needs some manners.??'?

It's always a great place just to sit and chill with friends. Sunday roast and Wings night Monday are nice alternatives. They generally run a quiz night during the week and sometimes have a DJ other nights too.

Pretty good. We often dine here when staying in Jindabyne. Food in their bistro is generally not bad and prices are reasonable compared with other local options. Very casual and family oriented. Staff are friendly. We've rarely had to wait very long for our meals. Although it can get very busy during holiday periods. Lovely views overlooking Lake Jindabyne towards the mountains while you enjoy your meal. Try and get a window table on the western side if you can.

Been here pre-covid winter, when the place was abuzz with buffets and fast busy service but in Feb 2021 it was pretty deserted and food was order at bar with limited menu. Note no buffet bar during covid. Having said that the food was pretty good . I had a whole baked rainbow trout and mate had the porterhouse, both where good and hearty, with interesting veges beyond the usual bland accompaniments. Wine list was also limited but enough local wines to make it interesting choices. overall, better than anticipated, pleasantly surprised
