I just had a delightful visit to the Katoomba RSL's Red Poppy Brasserie, and I couldn't wait to share the experience. Nestled conveniently away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, it's still just a leisurely stroll from the heart of town.
The recent rebuild after the fire has done wonders; the bistro is now impressively spacious, and despite a good crowd, it maintained a pleasant, noise-free atmosphere.
From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine friendliness. The place was spotless, which always adds to the dining comfort. Service was impressively swift; we barely had time to sip our drinks before the meals arrived.
Speaking of meals, we opted for the Bangers and Mash and the Mediterranean Pasta. Both dishes were spot on in portion size and flavour. The Bangers and Mash were hearty and satisfying, while the pasta offered a delightful medley of Mediterranean tastes.
In summary, the Katoomba RSL's Red Poppy Brasserie offers a welcoming atmosphere, prompt service, and delicious meals. It's a top spot for a relaxed dining experience in Katoomba. Will I be back? Absolutely!
