I have been to this club several times now with my group. It's a very good club to come to with family and friends. It has a couple of options to where you can eat , first there's the Fireside Brasserie which is where my group eats. The food is very tasteful and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The layout is very wheelchair ? friendly which is good for us as we have disabled people in our group. The other option as to where you can eat is the Poloy Chinese Restaurant. I haven't been there as we come on a Monday and it's closed then. If you just want a drink ?, you can go to the Parkside Bar. The club has the usual Pokie Machines that every club has if you like that. The club overall is very welcoming and very wheelchair accessible. There's good parking ?? facilities with a car park attached and the toilet ? facilities are good also. It's located a stone throws away from Kingsgrove Railway Station ? if you use public transportation and so is easy to get to. I would definitely recommend. Thumbs up ??'???'?

She was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring that my visit was enjoyable from start to finish. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist truly stood out. 20 friends and family went to the bistro for sunday lunch the club made us all feel very welcome the food was very nice and were all surprised at the live singing he was really good and helped set the atmosphere we all enjoyed the day and the prices and food quality was very reasonable. Looking forward to going back soon and trying the Chinese restaurant next time

The ladies at the bistro always look after my elderly Mum when we pop in for Sunday lunch or a family birthday group. Meals are delicious, served quickly & the bar staff do a great job with the wines & beers. All the club staff are friendly, it's always nice to visit.

I took friends to eat there in the brasserie on a public holiday and we were not disappointed. The meals were prepared quickly and tasted very fresh. The chicken schnitzel was a full breast with gravy on side, salad and French fries. There is also a free drink voucher. I definitely recommend.
There is plenty of parking at the club and membership is only $5. A very easy experience. Glad our first choice wasn't open!

Amazing customer service in Kingsgrove RSL wonderful staff at the reception desk and Shashi is so amazing and friendly. Every Tuesday night when we come for our ACN meeting she has a great smile and welcomes us to the venue. Great food and atmosphere. I highly recommend Kingsgrove RSL. Well done team

Dinner - absolutely horrible. Hot chips were cold, my mash potatoes was disgusting, my mash colour was orange. Rump steak was over cooked and tasted really bad, they need to find better places to purchase there meat. I have been here afew times however food has been disgusting every time. I have tried to give it a chance every time I visit.
But the Chinese food up stairs are really good.
Bistro down stairs need ALOT of improvement, definitely 1 star
Restaurants. I don't mind waiting for my food as long as it taste good especially for what I pay for.

Great bar staff. The food staff can be a bit gruff and indifferent. Bistro menu is pretty alright in big portions. Lots of options - so something for everyone. The Chinese restaurant has the old school Australian Chinese type menu with overly sweet Honey lemon chicken and non Chinese specific "general Asian" food.
Trivia and Raffles are great here.

Bunch of crooks. Let's begin by the fact if you want to join for 1 year only. It's June. You only get 6 months even though you paid for 12 months. I had attended this club for multiple lunch and dinners. Which accumulates points. July comes, to which I think I would like to redeem points for a drink, i was then told the points get reset on
June 30!!! What complete nonsense. I'm not even getting an entire year with the membership THEN to be wiped away of the points.

I am also disturbed about the RSL's ethics. They are charging a full year's membership fee, but only giving members 6 months or less of access. They are also resetting points within 1 month of a 6-month membership. This seems like a very money-hungry and unethical business practice.
I would not recommend the RSL's membership program to anyone. They do not value their members, and they do not provide good customer service.

I was not happy about the fact that my points had been reset, so I approached the staff member who was working at the time. She was busy talking to someone else (which was the same person she was talking with when I first came in - possibly a friend) she tells them to wait. I tried to explain my frustration but she dismissed me quickly and told me to call the 2IC during the week to complain. I was shocked that she didn't even bother to call over the duty manager who was on shift. She just gave me a business card and sent me away. This is a clear example of poor customer service. That experience simply skyrocketed and fueled my frustration to levels I have not had before.

I also recall a time when I was at this RSL before, and I saw another patron complaining about something. The staff member at that time also disregarded the complaint. This leads me to believe that this RSL does not care about customer service. They are more interested in making money than in providing a good experience for their customers.

I don't understand how the RSL can justify charging a full year's membership fee when the membership only lasts for six months or less. And then to reset the points within one month of the six-month membership period is just plain selfish. This is unethical business practice.

I am just very disappointed with the RSL's customer service and it's business practices. I will not be renewing my membership with them.

What a find! New to the area. Friendly staff. Great Bar and amazing food.... love a relaxed game of bowls. Will be back for sure. Often!

Friendly Service, Great Atmosphere... Good food, Good music

This is a nice club, good prices in the bistro. Portions are not skimpy, food overall is very good. The patrons are friendly the staff are friendly. Beer isn't watered down. Big screens everywhere, there is a Chinese restaurant besides the bistro. I haven't tried it yet, next time around I'll give it a go.

Although the surroundings are fresh and modern the food at the Bistro was very bland and average and staff looked like they didn't want to be there. We will be unlikely to return.

Was advised at 745 pm that kitchen closes at 830 pm for orders .
Went at 830 to order food and was advised kitchen was closed and asked ? ! why did we not come earlier!
Manager Gustav was called. He was irritated that we were irritated ! Did he expect us to applaud his staff for giving us wrong information?
Went to Kingsgrove pub next door. Clear signage re kitchen hours.

The driver of the club bus is always helpful and courteous when picking me up for night Bingo. Reception is receptive to club members.

Great food, nice and kid friendly. Good place to have a meal with the family on the weekend.

Love this place , food is always delicious and the staff are so friendly and go out of their way for you. They even have an open fire in Winter and an open balcony area if you want to enjoy the outdoors

First time here & never coming back! The rump steak was burnt on the outside and so tough no one couldn't chew it! They offered to replace the meal. I asked for cutlets & chips nothing else. The cutlets come out with salad and smothered in gravy. She asked if I wanted a refund! No! I just want to feed my 12 yr old son who is hungry. Not sure how it got an average of 4.2 stars! The only redeeming thing about this joint is Gavin. My 1 star goes entirely to you. Worst food I've ever been served. Don't waste your money!

I don't go often but I always enjoy my visits. They have friendly staff they always make you feel welcome. The menu is good. On a on occasion they have live entertainment. And they do raffles. So get yourself to Kingsgrove RSL. Cheers everyone

Had the chicken black bean it was delicious friendly service and food came out quick.

Ashlee was extremely rude she was requesting our medical exemption as to why we werent wearing masks which is AGAINST THE LAW .Nobody needs to prove their medical exemption as its against the privacy act.Please remember not everyone can wear a mask safely, including some people with a disability. The law says that this is okay..ubclauses (1)(4) do not apply to the following persons(a) a person aged 12 years or under,(b) a person with a physical or mental health illness or condition, or disability, that makes wearing a fitted face covering unsuitable including, for example, a skin condition, an intellectual disability, autism or trauma.Even in places where wearing face masks is mandatory, there are exceptions or lawful reasons not to wear one.Ashlee wouldnt even take into account that we had a valid exemption used intimidation and dismissive behaviour.Asking someone for a letter to confirm this is not a requirement under the public health act.Ashlee please choose understanding not judgement.We have been coming to the club for years and this is by far the worst behaviour we have expected from staff.We wont be returning. Disgusting behaviour.

Love it just like I remembered it 30 years ago

The bistro in The RSL has some of the nicest food in the area. The portions are large and the price of meals are very affordable.The layout and atmosphere of the club is a big bonus. Nice outdoor area to eat and drink and just have a good chat with mates.The staff are very friendly and down for a chat.One of the best Clubs in the vicinity.

This is a great suburban RSL. They have extremely helpful friendly staff and both the restaurants are great dining options. It's very comfortable and all the tables are well spaced. The cleaning standards here are exceptional.

Taja restaurant is excellent.. great menu and food is absolutely delicious. Service was great as well.
